Just to add onto my link yesterday, I don't know if any of you have done stocks, but i thought this was a good way to get some free shares just follow my instructions below (please keep in mind that shares can take up to 24 hours to show)

Do you want to get a free stock share worth up to £100?

Create a Trading 212 Invest account using this link www.trading212.com/ref/FMA5keGM and we both get a free share!

Follow these steps...

  1. Click on the above link and click open account, when selecting an account type click the INVEST account type, fill in the form with all you details.
  1. Wait for your account to be activated, normally this happens automatically but sometimes you may need to undergo manual verification. When logged in just click CHAT and select Account Activation and follow the steps required.
  1. When you have activated top up £1 by clicking on your account in the top right hand corner and clicking deposit funds. Choose credit/debit card for instant deposit and no fees!
  1. Once you've activated and deposited you will receive your free share within 24 hours. To see which shares you have look at 'Open Positions' in the bottom of your Trading212 screen. You can choose to keep the share or sell it by clicking on the 'X' mark next to the share to close the position. Once sold, the money from the sale will go into your account
  1. To withdraw the funds, click on your account in the top right corner of the screen, then choose the 'withdraw funds' option from the drop-down menu to withdraw your funds to your card/bank account.

You can then close your Trading212 account if you don't need it by sending an email to [email protected] or by using the chat option. If you choose to keep it open, then just carry out a trade once every 6 months to prevent inactivity fees. Or, just keep the account balance zero as no inactivity fees are incurred in that case.

I find this email from MSE super helpful

www.moneysavingexpert.com/latesttip/

Some decent bank switch deals which could net you £100+

Otterses · 06/02/2019 10:16

Sigh ... six listings so far and not even half way through a bin bag ...

Thank you @BlockRockinBeats good luck with your application too, I am so wanting to get the Lionbridge job, it would be perfect for me to fit in around everything else, not received the email yet.

Definitely keep using the cashback sites, I've been with Quidco since 2005 and earnt £2932 as well as using Topcashback more recently.

I can't bring myself to Ebay at the moment, I used to do it as a living and my job is a similar industry, when it goes well it's great but there is often problems and I can't face annoying customers at the moment.

I used to do competitions properly and have restarted now, hopefully this will spur you all on, in the past I have won £1000 with warburtons, loads of DVD's/CD's/books, Huge TV, Playstation, mini fridge, Gorgeous baking utensils, Champneys Spa break, Makeup, meet up with Calvin Harris (had never heard of him at the time so didn't go Blush), loads and loads of stuff - it was fab waiting for the post :)

Matched betting is slowing down a bit, have had a few restriction emails already but I think they were sites I have had accounts with many years ago!

@Otterses you are so going to win the meat hamper!! Grin

If anyone wants a pickmypostcode referral, please use mine :)

FloofenHoofen · 06/02/2019 10:58

I noticed Qmee wasn't listed in the thread as a good way to earn money via doing surveys. They have an app which is good for notifying you of new surveys popping up.
I've made about £45 with it.

Heres the link qm.ee/BSKJQCWS5H6DC
You'll get half for using my link (50p)

Mummabear2212 · 06/02/2019 11:06

Those of you that are comping, what/where are you doing?

somewhere78 · 06/02/2019 11:20

I would just like to add my thoughts on comping. Pre children (and when they were tiny) I would comp on a daily basis. Literally 100's and hours and hours. You do have to put the effort in. At my 'peak'. I won lots of cameras, money, clothes and nice handbags. But the top one was a trip to New York (although that was a terrifying radio answer question). I think you have to put lots and lots of time in but definitely use the MSE forum to do so.
Or you could just be like my mum who sporadically enters the take a break magazine comps and recently won £1000
😬

sheerjewl · 06/02/2019 11:22

@NChangeForNoReason
I've just used your referral to sign up to pick my postcode

Here is mine if someone would kindly like to use it :)

2ellenor2 · 06/02/2019 11:25

@FloofenHoofen

I wouldn’t advise using Qmee just because the very low payment rates. If you actually work out how much you’re earning it’s around £1 an hour and not worth the time tbh

2ellenor2 · 06/02/2019 11:26

Received $19 from respondent.io today
Also received £5 from bulbshare which took about 2 mins to do all the questions

FloofenHoofen · 06/02/2019 11:30

To be honest you're right 2ellenor2 but I've not found anywhere else that's better so far.

2ellenor2 · 06/02/2019 11:33

@floofenhoofen

The fast payments are definitely an advantage. I still use it but stick to webcam surveys as they pay over £1 and take 5-10 mins

FloofenHoofen · 06/02/2019 11:41

I never seem to get the webcam ones!

Otterses · 06/02/2019 11:54

@Mummabear2212 I'm just doing twitter comps at the moment Grin dead easy and fast to enter. Entered about 300 in the last few days.

26 eBay listings 😱 and still going.

reddA · 06/02/2019 12:07

@Mummabear2212, I posted this upthread, but this is how I've always done competitions, I won a tube of Rosacea cream worth £16 this week Grin or should that be Blush -

With regards to competitions, the easiest way to do them is to use the MSE thread on their forum 'competitions time', go to the bottom of the page and there is a light grey title called 'display options', change it to 'thread title' 'descending' and 'beginning'.

Then go to a random page, say, 117 and work forwards/backwards until you find tomorrows date (these are all comps ending tomorrow).

Right click on the link to the competition and open in new window, enter the competition (set up your computer to autofill your name/address as it makes things quicker), then close the window, go back to the post on MSE and tick thank you and entered then go back again to the page listings.

If you don't want to enter a particular competition just click on the red X next to the post, once you refresh your page you'll see ticks and crosses so you always know which competitions you have done.

It takes a while in the beginning as you need to register with some websites but once you've been doing it a while it gets a lot quicker, I don't enter FB, Instagram or Twitter comps but there are still plenty of others.

Bumblebeewine · 06/02/2019 12:58

@BlockRockinBeats I used your referral for OMD and have found it easy so far Smile

Bumblebeewine · 06/02/2019 14:59

What are people's favourite websites for surveys? Unsure of which one to try Smile

Frenchdoors1 · 06/02/2019 15:04

Yes, I'm interested in which people's favourite websites are for surveys.

Otterses · 06/02/2019 15:28

@Bumblebeewine and @Frenchdoors1 Respondant and Profilic seem to have the best rates of pay, if that helps.

I'm not a huge fan of survey sites to be honest. I think you can earn a lot more for your time elsewhere (though I may be grumpy because I rarely qualify for any!)

OP posts:
margaritasbythesea · 06/02/2019 15:33

I agree - not qmee. The pay is terrible and I very often spend time qualifying only to be told it is now full.

Populus Live as I've said before pays well but is infrequent.

Would someone be so good as to post a link to the page to sign up to respondent io?

Bumblebeewine · 06/02/2019 15:34

@Otterses thanks for the info. I'm at a bit of a block because I've done every deal that appealed on OhMyDosh (not keen on the gambling ones) but I can't seem to apply for Leapforce or Appen (not sure if it's because I don't have a degree/not starting one or if I'm rubbish navigating their website) so I'm just trying to think of other ways I can bring in money. Surveys are a pain to be fair as they ask so many questions and try and get you to sign up to loads of things.

Otterses · 06/02/2019 15:36

@Bumblebeewine I'll walk you through it Smile the LF website is really intimidating at first. So NOT worry about not having a degree. I didn't.

Hold tight for a minute. I'll do some screen shots for you.

Frenchdoors1 · 06/02/2019 15:39

Thanks Otterses for your helpful info.

Bumblebeewine · 06/02/2019 15:40

That is so kind @Otterses, thank you so much xx
