So i've done the extra reviews now for LookFantastic, go to submit and its asking me for a general comment and rating (I already gave these when I submitted the first time) and there nowhere for me to input any of this. I'm finding this very difficult to figure out now and I'm slowly giving up.

TanselleTooTall · 11/02/2019 11:19

Hello everyone.
May I squeeze in with you, I'll sit at the back I don't mind.
I've been following your first thread and it is inspiring. I really want to take advantage of all the start up offers but I'm a bit intimidated. There was mention of using a spreadsheet to keep track of all the cancellation dates - has this been posted or have I overlooked it?

Has anyone heard of Facetheory skincare? I came across their Instagram last night and had a quick look at their reviews. They seem pretty alright and have 4.8 feedback score on Trustpilot (I think it was). Anyway, because my face is beginning to resemble a wrinkly old wotsit I bought a couple of items this morning. I used a 40% off code (FB40), free 48 hr tracked delivery is included, plus 10% cashback on Quidco. The really cheeky bit now, sorry Blush, is that after I made the purchase, Facetheory sent me a link where I get £10 in cash if someone uses my link and buys something from their site.
Perhaps if someone was planning on buying skincare anyway, they could take a look on the offchance..? If you were to, then you would get a £10 link to share as well.
If anyone was interested, I'll PM you the referral code because it has my name in it Blush but please do remember to go through Quidco.

Thank you and some of these payout totals are amazing! Well done.

@FloofenHoofen

Snap! I also got the rejected email! Apart from the missing lookfantastic website feedback, I had not chosen the correct categories for my comments eg, first impression, finding product, checkout etc. What a wally! Mind you, they didn't exactly make it clear to do them all in that order! Especially since we could not view the first five feedback tasks!

Anyway, have done all the required amendments and resubmitted it. I was able to give a star rating etc. Have you tried refreshing the page to see if it comes up?

It is frustrating and has taken us far longer than it should have done. However, I will know what I am doing if I am chosen for another task my this company. We will probably get thrown out for being incompetent 😂.

Let me know how you eventually get on and if / when you get paid for it. Thanks for your help.

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 11:49

BlockRockinBeats I have canclled my submission, firstly because It wouldn't let me resubmit a rating (no idea why!) but also because when I clicked on the help section, there are people saying they didn't get paid, and I noticed that when I accepted the task it said payment was $0.00. So I decided to cancel after all of that effort.
I hope it's a different outcome for you though, I'm glad you were able to submit it and managed to change some of your catergories, let me know if you hear back :)

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 11:56

Anybody getting any prolific surveys come through today? It's all very quiet my end.
I managed to make £35 on Friday alone. I was impressed.

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 12:22

I have found a new website that others may be interested in. They are looking for product reviewers and testers, sometimes they might require you to purchase the product, but you will normally be given an Amazon voucher or a voucher to the site you accepted the task on so there is effectively no cost to you.

It's called Fivestar OMS, here is the sign up page fivestar-oms.net/?r=4616f7e

I will say that you need to go through a verification process, in your profile, you need to verify your mobile number and then upload ID (front and back) once this is processed all offers and tasks will be unlocked to you.

Here is a forum to read more about this website www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?threads/fivestar-oms-paid-to-review-products-free-products.10718/

Some have been paid £30+ depending on the rates and what they've reviewed.

misstiggiwinkle · 11/02/2019 13:12

@FloofenHoofen I've had nothing from prolific. Tbh I hardly ever do. I've made about £10 in a month and I have it open every day. I'm amazed that you made £35 on Friday!!

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 13:32

misstiggiwinkle is your profile fully complete? I haven't had anything pop up today so maybe it was a one day hit. Boooo!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 11/02/2019 14:25

I haven't had anything with prolific for more than a week. I deleted a big chunk of my profile and 1 popped up within 20 mins!

duffed · 11/02/2019 14:30

yes i suspect with prolific that i have given too many details that make me a bit of an odd candidate in the end - made £2.50 over the weekend though. what do you suggest deleting?

having trouble with mobilexpression- got a link emailed to me to claim credit, but it appears to be dead and just tells me only members can get credit.

swagbucks and ebay going well for me

duffed · 11/02/2019 14:32

Oh I also did the test for rev transcription today. I'd like to find a uk transcription company or two - any suggestions?

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 14:39

How interesting that deleting some of your profile on Prolific showed up more studies. I'm assuming you can't re-add bits to your profile once deleted?

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 14:40

Ignore my last post, it appears you can delete and it will eventually show up to complete the profile again.

fishandchops · 11/02/2019 15:39

Referral link for oh my dosh and it's a £5 sign up for you and me today only.

Well done Bangbingbong!

AVOID FOREX TRADING LIKE THE PLAGUE, HUGE SCAM WHERE PEOPLE MAKE MONEY SIGNING UP OTHERS....

namechangedforanon · 11/02/2019 16:49

Which bits have you deleted? I haven't had much on Prolific at all recently. Made an initial £10 then nothing...

BlockRockinBeats · 11/02/2019 17:09

@FloofenHoofen My second submission for the make up study has been rejected. Grrrrr! The email tells me to update my feedback once again but, when I click the link, none of my feedback is there. It just tells me to leave my first feedback, ie start again. No way! I am so angry and frustrated with it. I have been frowning and clenching my teeth so much with it that I have given myself a headache!

So, I have emailed them again. I can't see what was wrong with my last lot of feedback as I covered every point and provided ten screenshots. This is far too much messing about for the money.

I am really in a mood over it. No wonder others have expressed concern if it keeps happening to them.

I'll keep you posted.

PS I haven't had any prolific surveys for nearly a week now. Arrrgh!

FloofenHoofen · 11/02/2019 17:12

It's not worth the hassle BlockRockinBeats. There have been some other respondent studies popped up today, they might be more worthwhile.

Something makes me think he was conning people into giving good reviews and consistently rejecting or approving but then not paying. It's not very fair and I'm not sure if Respondent really has a system to filter out scams?

Otterses · 11/02/2019 19:00

Respondent sounds like a lot of faff Confused

Apple have very kindly reset my password Grin so I'm going to wipe my MacBook in a minute.

So I joined SwagBucks a while ago.
I earned quite a few amazon gift vouchers off them from surveys and watching videos. Also you can use them as a search engine to collect daily swagbucks and make cashback from them. I used to earn a bit before I went FT in work.
Also they have a lot of surveys off McDonald's and I did one for Kinder Surprise. I earned £40 for each Maccy's one and £70 for the Kinder one.

Anyway here's my link:

www.swagbucks.com/refer/Swagaim

If you earn 300sb in the first month (easy with surveys) we'll both earn an extra 300sb.

Just putting my head above the parapets to ask about competitions on Twitter. I've opened a Twitter account and looked at it and it feels like a foreign world, how the heck do I find the competitions?

namechangedforanon · 12/02/2019 10:14
