The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

Same

@RedPandaFluff

Bots going into property does not surprise me. I have been alarmed at the level of hype and brainwashing (I'm all for mindset but this is something else) similarities I have seen in the techniques used by property development coaches coming onto my Facebook newsfeed.

It's been discussed here:
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legal_money_matters/3475730-Property-Development-Academies-Workshops-Programmes-Scam

RedPandaFluff · 04/02/2019 22:23

Thanks @ReformedBot1 - it just doesn't feel real, in the way that the Arbonne stuff doesn't feel real.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 04/02/2019 22:43

Broke's ex friended my mlm stalky profile so I can see she's locked down her settings. It's not very exciting though, just selling loads of stuff.

BSintolerant · 05/02/2019 00:08

Paddy1234 You're very naughty. 😂

cozietoesie · 05/02/2019 01:00

Thanks, Twenty.

Biohacker "friend" has now declared they are no longer completely Vegan because, "Soy is high in estrogen, and overconsumption is linked to heart disease. But I'm still mostly going for an organic, plant based wholefood diet". Haven't found any studies to back up the claims about soy.
There has also been a veiled admission that they probably aren't doing so well off their biohacking shite as they claim "I don't invest in myself due to lack of motivation" (OK, could be anything.) "I do it to hit my goals faster." (Hmmm, since half your posts each day are about your crap, unscientifically proven "biohack yourself younger/healthier.... reduce oxidative stress" bollocks, I'm going to guess it's you buying more and more of your shite and calling it "investment".

Wig ‘n’ Sleaze have #pionners in America now too. Whatever it is, it’s clearly contagious.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 05/02/2019 12:58

Wig'n'Sleaze are proudly unemployable, and want to inspire us to live the same way as them.

Living in a caravan while trying to stay ahead of the bailiffs and irate punters you've scammed? Where do I sign up!

nipping into nice hotels and taking selfies in the lobby is their main occupation.....funny how we never see a pic of the suite they are staying in.

JasperRising · 05/02/2019 19:41

I reckon the kids of some all MLM bots could do with this quiz www.bbc.com/ownit/its-personal/do-you-have-a-sharent-quiz ! And with sharing the accompanying links with their parents.

CatherineCookson · 05/02/2019 19:58

How does page rank relate to anything tangible with wig and Sleazes latest nonsense. Those numbers just show who's looking at the website - don't they? Just a load of fudge???

Twentytwentyhindsight · 05/02/2019 20:37

Ooooh, a screen with numbers! Don't know what it means, but it must be important, official and legit! Sign me up!

BBL is starving herself again.

fitgirl26 · 05/02/2019 22:26

So BBL Bot. She has mentioned before that she used to live in a caravan. So how did she get that lovely house - obviously we are supposed to believe it's from selling Juice Plus?

spanfan · 05/02/2019 22:37

Oh my lord. I thought Salon was going to Facebook live through a bikini wax. 😂😂😂😂

Turns out it was Fat Freezing which sounds totally legit....

😂😂😂😂

SSDGM · 05/02/2019 22:45

I believe BBL was previously married to a man from the travelling community.
She does still make an income, it’s just much smaller than it was a year or two ago.

Surely Juice Plus HQ want her to be taking the products, not just drinking water for 2 days.

Whiterangey · 06/02/2019 01:10

The diet bots that were mentioned in the daily mail have their accounts on companies house.

Not seeing the 2 million per year or whatever it was. I am seeing a directors loan and two charges, one of which is a mortgage.

Bit weird considering the daily mail's reputation for fact checking and reliable reporting.

9dartfinish2nd · 06/02/2019 09:41

@Whiterangey - When reading the article, it looked and felt like an advert for the direct selling industry as a whole.

Given they have previosuly ran a scathing article on the nightmare endured by an ex FL bot someone at the DM really dropped the ball here.

Seems they'll given anyone column inches if it suits them.

Whiterangey · 06/02/2019 10:03

How dare you say that about the daily mail. They only print important news and well researched and well written articles.

They did another article roughly the same on someone making millions from another mlm, think it was Avon. It was almost identical as in plugging the mlm and the women as the ideal sonar so you can do the same.

fromdownwest · 06/02/2019 12:00

This is a genuine question - How do these bots maintain their lifestyle. I know they fake it to make it. However the brother of a top bot is always at the gym, seeing friends, drinking cocktails, eating breakfast in nice hotels.

Is there wealth behind these? Because my bank account certainly notices it if I have a run of social events, and I have actual self employed money coming in (some call it net profit!)

9dartfinish2nd · 06/02/2019 12:12

@fromdownwest It's not unusual to see bots take out Directors loans from their Ltd company in the belief that the universe will align and apositive mindset will pay it back before HMRC come calling.

JasperRising · 06/02/2019 12:25

fromdownwest look at recent posts from the top bot whose brother I think you are referring to and the reference to repaying a loan from her parents. I don't know about you but my parents could never have loaned me that amount of money.

I think it's fair to say there is family money behind quite a few of the bots (I can think of a couple lower down the pyramid who aren't getting bonus cheques but reading between the lines it is clear their parents or partners have been able to support their lifestyle).

fromdownwest · 06/02/2019 12:27

So in essence, it is just waiting until the proverbial music stops, or HMRC run out of patience?!

Paddy1234 · 06/02/2019 12:53

Castles parents have definitely been bank rolling them.
If you google up sons name and put maybe something to do with shop fitting you will get them come up
