The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

Messiah has got TS Shite in quite a few countries now, so I imagine that the UK/Ireland are starting to hit walls in terms of the number of people they can recruit and the money is drying up.
The easiest way to get those people who are starting to see it for what it is, is to pretend that you have something amazing on the way so they keep buying, keep promoting, keep recruiting. In about 6 weeks Project X will reveal itself to be a different flavour shake or something but by then he's coined in an absolute fortune from those who've been told they need to stay 'active'.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/02/2019 11:59

@Paddy1234 - one of the few positives of this outcome is that we have cleared out a not inconsiderable amount of storage space that was taken up with 'stock', promotional materials, mindset books & DVDs.

The only condition I have imposed (she has kept a key and can drop in to see the kids any time she wants) is that no further FL crap will pass through the door.

The boys are no longer having the gloop & pointless supplements shoved down their throats for breakfast, and are now brushing their teeth with toothpaste they actually enjoy (and which our dentist has been urging us to use for a long time).

The only stuff left now is the crap FL branded luggage she will be packing the remainder of her belongings in, and a half used bottle of the FL cleaning stuff (don't know about the price, but I must admit it works quite well).

As I've stated earlier, the 'goal board' is the item I am happiest to see the back of.

So sorry @Twenty.

I hope you and your boys are OK

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/02/2019 13:14

It's been coming for a while sponge.

Of course there's an overwhelming sense of loss for the wasted years (for all a of us, but especially the kids) and uncertainty about the future, but the main sense is one of relief that everything is finally under rational control.

Whiterangey · 04/02/2019 13:39

I think that you have one of the most powerful stories I've heard, especially regarding how your children's relationship with their mother has suffered.

All because of forever living.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/02/2019 13:53

TBF, the boys and their Mum are fine. She is an attentive and loving mother, it's just the MLM blinkers that have soured things between us and robbed us of the choices afforded by a 'proper' income.

She would never knowingly do anything to the kids' detriment (that includes the anti-vax stuff and the MLM shite, which are linked).

OP posts:
Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/02/2019 14:16

Christ, Yawn is vile, she can't even post about the BSL course without dropping in Louis Vuitton and Prada hashtags...

Most people attend such courses so that they can communicate with a loved one or help a disadvantaged section of the community. She does so to make new recruits and flaunt her designer gear.

OP posts:
notsurewhatshappening · 04/02/2019 14:26

I didn't realise there was a link between MLMs and the anti vax movement...? That's awful!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/02/2019 14:33

Not a direct link, but there is a lot of crossover, usually of the anti-science variety.

Big Pharma is out to kill us and my magic pills/gloop/coffee/CBD oil/whatever is the cure to al ills...

There is plenty wrong with Big Pharma, mainly due to the bottom line being profit- but then, what's an MLM about?

This Country is hilarious - Kerry looking like Uncle Fester 😂

9dartfinish2nd · 04/02/2019 15:36

Where do you even start with this shit?

www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-6662591/Single-Mum-went-penny-pinching-turning-2MILLION-year.html#comments

"Direct selling is a £2.1 billion-a-year industry in the UK, and it is currently enjoying a renaissance as increasing numbers of people look for ways to earn additional income, perhaps around another job or a family."

Crock of shit from a rag that should know better.

From Wikipedia:

In February 2017, the English Wikipedia banned the Daily Mail as an "unreliable source" to use as a reference in Wikipedia. Its use as a reference is now "generally prohibited, especially when other more reliable sources exist".[12][168] Support for the ban centred on "the Daily Mail's reputation for poor fact checking, sensationalism, and flat-out fabrication".[12]
In early 2019, the mobile version of the Microsoft Edge Internet browser started warning visitors to the MailOnline site that "this website generally fails to maintain basic standards of accuracy and accountability"

Ugh

RedPandaFluff · 04/02/2019 16:04

Hello everyone - I'm a bit of a lurker, but I'd love to ask you if there is an MLM related to property? A friend of mine is already an Arbonne "consultant" but in the last few months she's starting posting about just getting the keys for her "latest property refurb" and trying to get people to invest their savings "in property". It doesn't feel right - I don't think they have the cash to be buying properties, doing them up and selling them on so frequently, so I started wondering if it's a new MLM . . . ?

9dartfinish2nd · 04/02/2019 16:07

Remarkable article coming just three years after it published an ex FL bot nightmare.......btw the comments section under this article is a joy to behold.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 04/02/2019 16:53

Broke's ex appears to be selling anything that she can lay her hands on, including a credit note for Topps Tiles!!

CheekySmile · 04/02/2019 17:08

@redpandafluff I’m trying to find out the same thing right now as my former FL bot is now seemingly knee deep in property investment

Paddy1234 · 04/02/2019 17:16

Yawn has informed us that people in the deaf community differentiate each name.
She says hers starts with a C
I didn't need to read any further

Norma27 · 04/02/2019 18:22

Ha ha paddy! C is definitely as far as we need to go!

Paddy1234 · 04/02/2019 19:22

I see that Welsh Rarebot has taken down her post.
Vindictive spoilt woman

Jonsey32 · 04/02/2019 20:02

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/02/2019 20:28

OP posts:
Jonsey32 · 04/02/2019 20:31
