The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

@Crackers1428 This is one of the primary reasons people are now coming out in droves to speak out against MLM's, people are completely fed up of the predatory solicitations whether they be online or in person.

There are countless stories on the Sounds like mlm but ok FB group of these types of meetings and how shitty it left people feeling when they thought they were actually about to make a new friend.

Spongebobette · 28/02/2019 11:58

I find it extraordinary that reasonable, sensible, kind people suddenly do things, after joining an MLM, that they would never previously have dreamt of. It’s as though the overriding desire to be successful in ‘business’ crushes all their normal moral and ethical guidelines

One minion bot I’m following keeps posting about how much more confident she is since joining FL and how she keeps speaking to people about the opportunity and how you have to hear a lot of no’s to get to the ‘yes’. It’s painful.

spanfan · 28/02/2019 12:36

My favourite east Anglian bot has posted a long live recently. She's valentus I think.
One gen on the 25 minute.live includes how having her coffee is the reason she is making wholefood choices now.

And it's her night time pill (allure??) Which is helping with her sleep, not the extra walking or not napping (she is unwell). 😂😂😂

The rest was a talk about "Me me me, I I I"

Mlmers are so self obsessed. 😂😂

ArbunneHun · 28/02/2019 14:58

BBL’s ‘healthy’ vegannnn food choicesssss an meallllllls have me in stitches. 9/10 it is a bowl of peas & sweetcorn covered in gravy and mint sauce: but itssss all on plannnnnnn

The idea that women are following her diet advice to be healthy is hilarious.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/02/2019 17:17

Messiah's latest Mexican 'leader' describes herself as a 'follower of Jesus' in her FB profile, while another is 'God's chosen one' - maybe this is starting to go a bit too far?

OP posts:
YouokHun · 28/02/2019 17:43

There is only one Messiah. You’d think his followers would know that by now. It’s always interesting to see what demographic is most easily convinced by Messiah. It’s all very Vida Divina-esque. I’m still expecting the current Messiah venture to implode soon. It amazes me he isn’t doing time (yet).

Have you seen BBL'S portion sizes? I'd feed a baby more.

spanfan · 28/02/2019 19:13

I'm watching a desperate Younique presenter who needs to hit a certain rank by midnight tonight.

Pinkhairbot is very difficult to watch. She needs to sell 60odd mascaras. She's asking people to share and share.

She's using her possible bonus (130 quid) to give her kids s birthday party, and I don't think she's going to do it.

It's just so awful. She is s single mum with kids and has clearly spent s fortune on products to do her lives and is working for next for nothing.

It's so sad ☹️

notsurewhatshappening · 28/02/2019 19:26

The new epic mascara is less freaky looking than the 3D spider legs one, but it's pretty obvious to me that in the before and after photos the model has had a lash lift or tint. My ex colleague recently got in touch trying to sell me one for about 30 quid. Or just buy the tacky purple plastic handbag for £69! No thanks, love

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/02/2019 19:42

@YouokHun - well neither of the descriptions necessarily deny him supreme being status. Theologically, in a trinitarian sense, he can be Father Son and Holy Spirit.
It is a step up though, from equating himself to the Son of God to claiming the whole shebang...

I don’t know much about Messaih? What’s his story?

cozietoesie · 28/02/2019 20:41

Careful, folks. Smile

BethanyBarleywater · 28/02/2019 21:36

Is Brokebot still sleeping in his car?

Paddy1234 · 28/02/2019 22:12

Messiah - a very unfortunate side profile
Not his best side

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 28/02/2019 22:25

What's wrong @cozietoesie ?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/02/2019 22:39

Broke bot still seems to be shacked up with his new squeeze, but there have been few recent posts (since deleted) suggesting that the universe (and his snake oil) is not delivering, including one asking if anyone needed a lodger...

In other news, I've just been browsing 'approved food' website-discount end of line company and what did I see????????? FL products...........I wonder if someone has been offloading stock?

fromdownwest · 01/03/2019 09:58

The story of an educated one is full of holes. She was on insta slating an Instagram follower with 10k followers who's business earns nothing at all.

She herself 'earned' a six figure income with less than a 100 followers.

In a previous post she was complaining about a £46 moving our charges and selling bags for £10.

If you were earning £100k+ a year, those bags would be in the bin or a charity shop.

The moving to Oz could be the signalling that everything has fallen apart here?

Thoughts

JasperRising · 01/03/2019 10:25

fromdownwest I just get the rage at her peddling if the whole 'if you really want something it must be meant for you', universe magic bullshit. It's that type of thinking that gets people into debt or gives them a sense of entitlement that then messes with their mental health when they can't achieve it. It also shows a staggering lack of awareness of what life is like for people who don't have parent safety nets and do have children/health problems/existing debt etc. There are sadly so many people who will never get what they desire however much they dream of it and peddling that bullshit is insensitive and damaging. And that particular bot gets my ire more than most because she is a trained scientist and yet still goes on about the universe and the meaning in number patterns and tarot cards Confused

fromdownwest · 01/03/2019 10:28

@jasperrising - is it me or when she talks it is lots of words and zero substance.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 01/03/2019 10:39

PhD bot's stories are indeed full of holes.

She got a $70k CB in 2017; last year, if she actually got a bonus, it was under $10k; this year, she isn't even in BP's top 30 (and number 10 isn't getting a cheque).

So, far from raking in six figures from FLP.

I've no idea whether there are mugs out there with small enough brains and deep enough pockets to pay for her 'coaching', but my guess is that, if there was once a gravy train, it has long hit the buffers.

Her whole persona oozes inherited privilege (which she has inadvertently revealed on occasion) - most likely, that is what has enabled the lifestyle portrayed, rather than her 'business and mindset'.

Whatever her reasons for moving to Oz, there is no business to keep her here.

OP posts:
JasperRising · 01/03/2019 11:29

@fromdownwest yup she has definitely got the art of saying not much at great length... And always alongside a selfie. Not a psychologist or anything but some of the top bots have got to have a narcissistic streak surely (and some of the not so top bots in this case).

Norma27 · 01/03/2019 14:46

I’m gutted - one of my best mates has decided to become a tropic ‘ambassador’. I the end we had to agree to disagree on their business model. She already knew I wouldn’t attend any ‘parties’ or buy anything off her.
She is a well educated accountant, on maternity leave and having a few months on no pay. Bloody gutted.

DownThePan · 01/03/2019 17:33

PhDBot's public company accounts for 2016 & 2017 don't show any sign of a 6 figure income.

I wonder if she's had any takers for her ludicrously priced coaching sessions?
