Anti MLM/ Network marketing thread NUMBER 43!!

Spongebobette · 29/09/2018 18:17

This is the 43rd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Yawn is giving out products to “aid recovery” to people in a hospice?

That's got to be the most outrageous health claim I've ever heard in my life SSDGM😂 At least we know why she joined an MLM scheme called Forever Living. I despair. That's got to be one for the ASA.

I didn't think Yawn could get any lower.

What she is currently doing is sick and I don't know how she can sleep at night. She is using people who are dying of cancer to get some cc's so she can hopefully keep her house.

I hope she loses her house, what she is doing is sickening.

Teddy1970 · 03/10/2018 22:04

How do you work out Chairmans bonus Dora? Don't worry if it's too complicated to explain! The whole thing just fascinates me...

user1484830599 · 03/10/2018 22:12

From looking at Yawns accounts, it looks like she's had quite a bit out of the business too (directors loan maybe?). I wonder how she'll pay that back?

Whiterangey · 03/10/2018 22:14

Yawn has to pay back £188k to the directors loan account. I may be wrong but I think she actually had to pay that back by March 2018, not entirely sure.

That is a lot of money for someone who got no bonus cheque and working for a company that is doing so badly. Those with much bigger teams are doing horrifically badly, Yawn at this point is basically screwed. If she somehow miraculously manages to get a bonus cheque it won't save her. The money she earns off her team will continue to get less and less.

user1484830599 · 03/10/2018 22:18

Oh wow, its really not looking good for her!

Jonsey32 · 03/10/2018 22:27

Oh dear god. I never want to get personal but this cancer oacknthing is absolutely foul. It’s disgusting. This seriously needs to be addressed.
Where should this be taken up? Do forever living. As a company really endorse this?

Jonsey32 · 03/10/2018 22:29

*cancer pack thing

peacypops · 03/10/2018 22:35

If you look at roomie's website the link to her fb page has gone a bit wrong!

JasperRising · 03/10/2018 22:45

Positive packs linked to cancer awareness seems to be the theme of the moment but I have seen a bot doing positive packs for a rape and sexual abuse victims charity. I found that pretty despicable too - it could be sold as reaching out with kindness etc but I worry that it comes with a side dose of showcasing the product/business to people who are likely to be highly vulnerable.

user1484830599 · 03/10/2018 22:45

I've just seen one of yawns bots is doing the packs for womens aid and a rape crisis centre. There really are no lows they'll stoop to. £20! or £40 for a family pack for women with children.

user1484830599 · 03/10/2018 22:46

Cross posted @JasperRising!

PoohBear219 · 03/10/2018 23:05

Did you know that you cannot expect to be successful in business immediately?

Apparently what you need to do is 'incubate' first and work on your mindset for 6 months. If your mindset is right (achievable through paid coaching) you can pick up any business model and will succeed.

Also it is no longer 'Network Marketing' - apparently 'Social Marketing' is the more accurate description.

I am watching a bot who is a global / international / mentor / leader / 6 figure coach and she just talks shite!

I also see the FL as a mean girls type scenario - if you look the part and play the part you're in the crowd. Depressing.

Paddy1234 · 03/10/2018 23:10

Former Welsh downlines are plugging the book business big time. How anyone can take them seriously with the grammar errors in the posts is beyond me. I don't think it's going well for this couple at all.

Paddy1234 · 03/10/2018 23:11

Great photos though

Allthebubbles · 03/10/2018 23:20

Where does Doterra fit in? Someone I know seems very sucked in at the moment.

fitgirl26 · 03/10/2018 23:40

Wig 'n' Sleaze? They are no more? They still appeared to be a #powercouple 13.03 yesterday but I guess things move fast in the world of TMANOE. I am bereft. 😔

Whiterangey · 04/10/2018 00:47

You want to put your hand in your pocket for women dying of breast cancer or sexual abuse victims? Donate to one of the many charities out there that deal with those issues. They will take your money and use your money to help those women.

Not benefit off the bloody cc's.

This breast cancer hospice, donations could go towards the wages of an extra nurse, or a piece of medical equipment or something that will actually help the women in there. Not some stupid aloe shit which is shitty.

Yawn talks about something in there to help inflamed and irritated skin. I've seen radiation burns on a breast of a breast cancer sufferer, i'm sure others here have as well. What ever she has put in there isn't going to cut it. Plus, stage 4 breast cancer is in most cases no longer about the breast, it has spread, bones, liver, lungs, brain.

Positive packs? For women in hospice? Women who are actually dying, even the name makes me sick.

Yawn is a bad person, you just can't sugarcoat it.

Whiterangey · 04/10/2018 01:01

What? Sleaze posted about people fighting against this shit establishment and Wig replied to his message giving all indications they are still a couple.

I am confused.

JasperRising · 04/10/2018 06:47

It is a bit harsh to be singling one person out as a bad person out over the positive packs when lots of the bots are doing them (and lots did them last year - possibly around the same time I can't remember). It is clearly something they are being told to do as one of the methods for getting CCs etc. If one person is a bad person for doing it, then they all are. And whoever it was who came up with the idea and put it out there (whether head office/one of the very top bots/that UK leadership group some of them were on) should bear some responsibility.

HamishTheTalkingCactus · 04/10/2018 06:53

allthebubbles - doterra is, IMO, unfortunately one of the nastier MLMs - as its bots can tip over into making health recommendations for the products and/or be very against traditional drugs/pharma. Doesn't seem to be big in the UK yet, fortunately.

Jonsey32 · 04/10/2018 08:19

Can I just clarify how this positive pack things work?
You send you £15 to yawns PayPal. Then she buys products to give to the patients? Nothing is actually going to the hospice in terms of money? Just some aloe products? Is that how it works?
I notice one person repeatedly asked for links to the hospice to make a donation. Presumably they could see it was all a load of bollocks?

SSDGM · 04/10/2018 08:42

Yep, pretty much. She will buy them at her net cost and “donate” the products. She won’t profit from those sales but they will all count towards her CCs to get her closer to a bonus cheque in the spring. She has less than 3 months to spare her the embarrassment she had this year of receiving a big fat nothing.

JasperRising · 04/10/2018 08:44

@Jonsey32 that is pretty much it. From the photos of bots doing it last time, they package up the products in pretty bags, put in a note from the donor and then take photos of themselves about to deliver 200 of these bags to the lucky hospice/charity. It was unclear last time whether they had discussed this in advance with the hospice. I think a few (maybe Uber?) gave the impression it was arranged through someone so maybe expected but others it was less obvious whether that was the case. I doubt they are explaining the full business model when they offer to drop gifts off. I do wonder what hospice staff or patients think of them.
