Credit card spreadsheet

Help! Does anybody remember that amazing spreadsheet a genius Mumsnetter concocted to show how payments affected the length of repaying a credit card?

I have done an advanced search and can't find it.

Is it the trick where you pay off the min balance this month, and then set up a standing order to pay that amount each month? So, your balance is decreasing while each month you are paying off higher than the minimum

Yes!!! I remember looking at the spreadsheet and having a revelation, can't find the bloody thing now.

I don't have the spreadsheet, so not sure if it was more detailed than the above... it was a definite ping 💡 moment when I read about it though!

Mine is coming down, thankfully.

undebt.it is a fab website for doing this sort of thing btw, you put your payments in and it gives you an end date. If you have multiple it'll create a 'debt snowball' plan for you too
