MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

Is anybody able to tell me who Broke'a ex is?

Maranello4 · 14/08/2018 18:21

Is it just me (as a relatively new poster on the MLM thread) but did anyone else think that many of the posters on here had made up another pseudonym that was TS Life? Smile I thought that the TS part stood for 'total sh*!+e' which, of course it probably is.....!

A couple of Nu Skin bots are involved running a PSI Seminar.

3 day session - 10am till 8pm - Cost £500!!! all in the name of personal development

A quick google search on PSI shows it's an extremely controversial business with no shortage of critics.

The usual red flags are evident here.....as you'll see in the link provided.

I cannot agree that Yawn ever looked good, she is ugly. I cannot see beyond what I know of her personality, she could look like Ruby Rose physically and facially and I still would see ugly.

She's ruined so many lives, albeit some of them for a short period, she has made hundreds of thousands of pounds by making other people broke and miserable and keeps doing it. Pretending that every new victim is her very best friend until they have bought their starter box and any extras she can hit them with, and then they are on their own, a lot poorer, and with a hit to their self esteem.

She's ugly through and through.

This goes for all the others as well.

The recent 40th birthday party she attended and shared photos of on her wall is funny. Some of the people who were there have photos which show her in them, which i'm guessing she is mortified at and show how much weight she has gained. Nobody else makes any reference to her, they don't tag her in any of the photos, or anything to do with the party as well. Reading between the lines, I don't think she is well liked within forever.

I think this very personal vendetta against yawn is getting far to close to the bone.
You say it’s ok to repeatedly talk about her weight as it ties in with what she’s doing with forever living which is agreeably not a good thing, but these comments are getting really personal now.
I don’t like it.

charlyn · 14/08/2018 21:22

I’m a newbie to the thread :) Some randomer and younique bit from the village I live in added me on fb a few months ago. I find their posts entertaining though, todays was about the ‘free’ car they are getting thanks to younique. I mean they do know it’s not free right?!

Anybody else noticed that Roomie bot has sent her manuscript to ex FL bot who then went into running her own energy supplier company??
They are all completely linked in bot world.
Is energy company bot now a publisher??
They all just seem to continually scam each other!

Therulerofmyhouse · 14/08/2018 21:40

@jonesy32
I have in the past defended Yawn as many comments have been personal and directed at Yawn.

However, she has just made a massive statement about how she has been educated about healthy eating and macros' and excercise and how damaging fad diets and cleanses are.

She then goes on to state she is now doing the 24 day shred which is the new phrase for the c9 cleanse bullshit and completely discredits herself!

Jonsey32 · 14/08/2018 21:47

theruleofmyhouse

I totally agree with what you’ve said. I’m not a fan of hers but....
There are some really scathing things being said about her being fat, piling on weight, being ugly, getting bigger and bigger etc and it’s become some people obsession.
I understand that it all ties in with the anti MLM movement and that these products and the triangular shape business model that goes along with it are abhorrent but the really personal name calling and obsession with how much she weighs should stop.
It’s enough to point out there’s a contradiction in what she says without then backing it up with personal comments.
Also the thoughts people have about her and then state as fact are just getting boring. She’s losing her house, she’s mortgages up to the balls, she’s selling her car as she’s broke- someone posting pics of her supposed car that turned out not to be her car etc..... it’s all just guess work because people would like to see her fail.
Remember a few months ago our thread got pulled because of similar behaviour. Would be a shame for it to happen again.

SSDGM · 14/08/2018 21:55

Yawn is a liar, the same as all of them. Each lie is transparent and each one has to get bigger every time the last is proved not to be true.
Thing is, things are so bad now she’s even started lying to herself.

I couldn’t give a fuck about how much she weighs. Who’dathunk a woman would gain a few pounds as they get older? It happened to me. Plus the fact she has probably fucked her metabolism with constant C9s means the gain was totally predictable. She just needs to admit to herself the party is over and stop with the FL crap. She may then see her cortisol levels drop thanks to no longer having the stress of a loss making Bizznizz any more.

Therulerofmyhouse · 14/08/2018 21:58

@jonesy32
I don't disagree with anything you have said, the personal attacks and comments about her are a bit of a witch hunt, and I do agree they should be toned down.
However, having defended her quite a lot she is still putting herself out there as some kind of weight loss guru and personal fitness expert.

If you take that stance on public social media then it is only right when you get called out on it.

If she had some kind of amazing transformation because of her products and lifestyle and stuck to it fair play but she hasn't.

The personal details about her life and finances should be out of bounds except for the fact she keeps banging on about it and flaunting it.

She is a public figure of her own doing and what she shows in social media and what is real are too different things.

Whiterangey · 14/08/2018 22:40

@Jonesy32 I get your point, I really do, but she has peddled weight loss shite to hundreds, if not thousands of women under the pretense that it will solve their weight problems. In reality it has done the opposite, plus some eroding of their self esteem. I've seen the damage that fad diets and yo-yo dieting can do to people, came close to losing someone dear to me because of it.

Have I been too personal? Probably. Do I have issues with her using the slur 'spaz'? Most definitely yes. Is this my way at getting back at her after FLP refused to do anything? Probably yes, especially after she wrote another post moaning about people getting offended over everything.

If i've offended anyone here then i'm sorry.

I totally hear what you’re saying and you haven’t offended me at all.

I think as someone said above, we just need to tone down the really personal stuff whilst certainly high lighting the bollocks that is MLM.

It’s a fine line though I know!

JaniceBattersby · 15/08/2018 00:22

I agree with Jonsey. Let’s not lose sight of what we’re here for. Calling someone ugly is not on and, if she read it which I suspect she will, it could be incredibly hurtful.

To some extent the posts about her weight are fair in the light of her constant weight loss claims, but they still sit uncomfortably with me. Let’s not lower ourselves to their level. Let’s try to be a bit kinder. Our aim is not to be as grubby as they are.

I do understand how Yawn's lies and deceptions can get under your skin. She regularly makes my blood boil, especially when I see her hook in and love bomb new victims. I see them spending money on the new products, no doubt to please her, and I wonder when they will realise that they are not on the road to making themselves financially independent. She is a user masquerading as a mentor and it's wicked.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/08/2018 11:51

I absolutely agree with Jonesey. We can all agree she's a terrible human without resorting to insults. She doesn't half make my blood boil though, the post last night about jumping in the Audi in a pair of heels was so bloody ridiculous. No sign of the Audi apart from some sort of chalk drawing on the floor.

Sleaze has gone peak conspiracy theorist. Something about the Rothchilds and voters zones out

shoelaces · 15/08/2018 16:36

Can I ask what NewGen Direct is? They are saying they have a superfood supplement. It's currently on back order because a premier league football club placed a large order. So pre order now and get free delivery. Hmm This is the 2nd prem league football club to order so much stock they're sold out. I'm assuming this is all bollocks right?

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life - Mark Manson.

I recommend this read for anyone, it runs in the face of positive affirmations, being the best, being the pretties, being the richest. It resets peoples minds to basics, what is actually important.

Off topic, but may be useful to anyone who is on the way out of an MLM and needs something to readjust their mind to normality.

shoelaces · 15/08/2018 18:06

Thanks Cozie. It's been appearing in my FB feed for a while. someone added me to a support group for people with the same medical condition as me. I think this 'friend' is very close to the line with her medical claims. It seems MLMs are popping up everywhere, or maybe I just didn't notice before?

Lonelybutnice · 15/08/2018 19:04

I feel sorry for Mrs stickman. She's fully botted up now. She reminds me of myself four years ago, she's the same level I was. She's lying to herself, her friends, family and her team. I bet mr stickman is worried, the same way my DH was. All the posts about forever paydays and bonuses etc and I bet they're losing money hand over fist :-(

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 15/08/2018 20:27

Couldn't help but notice that Mrs Stickman was asking about Slimming World as she wants to give it a go.

Surely that was a bit a of a rookie error as it's like admitting that aloe shite doesn't have the magical weight loss properties that they like to let everyone believe that it has.
