MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Whiterangey · 27/06/2018 19:38

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

excellent news @YouOKHun!

I hope you get some responses. Sadly, the friend I know who was seduced into Forever Living and was fully botted (leading me to do a bit of digging and discover these threads) is not someone who would volunteer for this. She won't even discuss it, even though she has clearly given up with the whole thing.

YouOKHun · 20/07/2018 13:30

Sponge that’s always the problem isn’t it? The people who have been involved have been intimidated and isolated in the beginning and are ashamed that the thing they told everyone was so great has turned out to be a social, emotional and financial disaster - it takes real bravery to come forward. That’s the usual reason these projects are so difficult to get going. Lots of us are prepared to be vocal but many of us haven’t been had by these mlm wankers, and those that have been damaged by mlm are the people whose voices we need to hear. This project is the baby of a high quality documentary maker so I hope people do come forward. I know they’d be treated with sensitivity.

You guys!

TS-Life will be on the radio and TV because one of Messiah’s disciples has a clairvoyant who has told them so!

Eeeeeeek! Sign me up!

Whiterangey · 20/07/2018 14:48

I think the clairvoyant is right.

Messiah will end up being on News at Ten or Panorama.

I'm new to these threads and they're fascinating reading. I have several FB friends selling assorted MLM crap.

How do I crack the code tho to work out who on earth is being referred to in posts.id love to look further

Redglitter · 20/07/2018 14:59

What actually prompted me to read the threads was in just home from a self catering holiday. There was a bowl of free samples of FL and the bathroom was like a showroom of products with strategically placed business cards

YouOKHun · 20/07/2018 15:49

I await a photofit of Messiah on primetime TV and perhaps a lot of pixilated faces of wailing disciples crying over their mint choc shake filled garages and empty wallets.

Spongebobette · 20/07/2018 18:05

Welcome @Redglitter

The thing is, some poor person had to spend money buying all those samples and products in the hope that someone might become a customer or a downline. It's so sad.

I think he’s claiming that “big pharma” are money hungry and his magic leaf juice is all we need to make us better.
He’s not money hungry st all. That’s why his post this morning is all about the “copywrited payment plan” and how much cash he is making OFF THE BACK OF PEOPLE’S MISERY.

Behind MLM's review of Wig'n Sleaze's latest BEST EVAH Cryptoponzi. No surprises there.

Whiterangey · 21/07/2018 12:09

Oz has followed that review up with a review of Mize's first product.

Which is a Ponzi. I was shocked too.

behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/powernodes-review-mize-networks-ponzi-scam-within-a-scam/

It's a Ponzi within a Ponzi.

From the Mize review:

"Rank Achievement Bonus
Mize Network reward affiliates for convincing others to invest:

Bronze (convince others to invest €25,000 EUR) – a paid trip to a “leadership training event”"

So Wig and Sleaze have managed to convince people to part with 25,000 Euro. They are not going to be very popular when the Ponzi collapses.

Hi all, sorry for jumping in here and not sure if this is the right place for this question but I am learning more about MLM (I read Elle Beaus blog about Younique) and it made me think of a woman I was friends with on FB who was a Forever Living business coach. On FB (in 2017) she seemed to be going on lots of all expenses paid trips to Dubai and South Africa and posting about them. Having read how much of a con it all is can anyone tell me whether these trips were genuine or also a con? No reason for asking I'm just curious I guess!!

Whiterangey · 21/07/2018 14:26

My answer is yes, and also no.

The trips are real, ALL expenses paid, from the air travel to the accomodation, with most (all?) getting credit cards wtih hundreds of dollars or even thousands on them.

Some who get to go on the trips will receive bonus cheques, these range from a few thousand to hundreds of thousands, occasionally over a million. Although that no longer happens in the UK. The largest UK cheque this year was $420k, the next biggest was I think $120k, which is a huge drop from preveious years.

Those who earn the trip but don't get a cheque have mostly lost money throughout the year and have in effect paid for their position, so in effect have paid for the 'free' trip by handing over lots of money to forever living during the year.

The trip is a huge status symbol and bots will do whatever it takes to get on it, even if that requires signing up every single member of their family and buying products in their name.

You could try googling her name and 'companies house' to see if she has a business registered there. If she has a limited company and has been putting her income through the limited company you will be able to see her income.

There are so many bots who have gone to the global rally every single year who are losing money each year, or who are just scraping by on just above minimum wage.

Is she still with Forever?

Welcome to the thread!

Thanks @Whiterangey and @DoraExplorer99 that makes sense, I've had a little stalk of her FB and she was a senior eagle manager, she's no longer doing Forever and has her own nails business now. I only became friends with her on FB because I stupidly bought some Clean 9 products from her. I just thought at the time she was an extreme show off (Michael Kors bags/holidays/working from her laptop in the garden) but now realise they were classic MLM techniques.

LMMontmomery · 21/07/2018 20:50

Ooooh I just thought is all that info a bit identifying? New to this and Not sure how small these circles are, if you think it is let me know and I will ask MN to remove.

Spongebobette · 21/07/2018 21:22

no, don't worry, I have no idea who you mean

rainbowfudgee · 21/07/2018 22:19

Please could somebody inbox me the names of the most discussed bots? Wig, sleaze, uber, broke, yawn. Thank you

ArbunneHun · 21/07/2018 22:30

Does anyone think that Wig ‘n’ Sleaze’s life-changing MIZE ponzi will be around long enough for them to actually get their all-expenses paid trip to Brazil?

Whiterangey · 22/07/2018 03:33

Yawn's BFF has just posted some official photos from the success day at the Ricoh last week.

On of them shows her very shapely legs wearing killer heels.

I cannot see how a lovely pair of legs wearing sexy shoes can have anything to do with giving a speech or owning your own business.

I cannot even begin to imagine why anyone would want to take a photo of businesswoman's legs when she is at the top of her game giving a speech to a few hundred others.

She has just been reduced to sexy legs in heels.

I'm not saying it's sexist, but I have yet to see a photo focusing only on a males legs while they are giving a speech at an FLP event. I'll keep looking, but i'm going to take a wild guess i'm not going to find anything.

Really enjoying the timehops popping up on FB of Salon’s St Tropez hen do. The champagne, the limos, the beach...

I was also reminded that at that point, Valentus seemed unstoppable, the ones at the top were raking in it, and I found it insufferably cringy that Salon’s own hen do was made up of her fellow Triple Diamonds and was essentially a recruitment lifestyle photo shoot.

Fast forward to now: bit different, isn’t it?

Is now a good time to remind the #VSisters that they made a pact to charter a yacht and sail round the med this summer? Is that still happening, huns? Only, no one’s mentioned it and I feel a bit awkward bringing it up in case, you know, all the money’s dried up?

Has it? U OK HUNS?

Yawn has just posted a picture of her at the start of her forever journey and said that she was slimmer then.

I don't say that to fatshame her, she is thinner than me and she has a lovely figure then and now. But it does show that the products don't work as a weight loss programme.
