MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

cozietoesie · 09/07/2018 00:33

Enough, folks.

Tell me the latest about MLMs.......Grin

Whiterangey · 09/07/2018 00:39

I was just checking through my facebook messages, and was looking at those from people who aren't your friends but have sent you a message, usually they are from scammers who think you are the most beautiful person in the world ever!

This is from 1st January 2016, I don't check that folder often, obviously.

"Hi happy new year, as a fellow autism mum knowing how tough life can be at times wanted to share what has given me back my lost confidence"

Obviously spammed me via a Facebook Autism support group I imagine she likely spammed a lot of people at the time. I wonder how many of them actually saw the message?

There is a 10 minute video I can't be bothered to watch and a link to her group. It's Poonique. She is still doing it. Most of her photos are heavily filtered so you can't see the makeup properly, which probably helps it look better.

How lovely, preying on Autism Mum's.

@cozietoesie There is only one MLM that matters now and I hope your absence hasn't prevented you from getting in on the prelaunch.

TS Life is the best thing that ever happened to the world. It will be written about for years to come, in 2000 years the Messiah will be worshiped in churches with statues of him holding aloft a mint choc chip milkshake.

All other MLM's have been rendered meaningless.

I’ve just noticed that my Herbalife bot (who is botted to the absolute max) is now friends with yawn’s downline who has a baby with stick man.
I notice that they have started a Sunday running club. Full of forever shite bots by the look of it, including yawn.
Funny how yawn has started doing outdoor running lately. I honestly believe she has had to cancel her expensive David Lloyd membership.

GoldenKelpie · 09/07/2018 09:02

Delighted to have you back, Cozie Smile.

My summer reading list includes a recent book by Alexander McCall Smith "Precious and Grace" (no 17) in which the dreaded pyramid scheme rears its ugly head. Don't worry though, our Precious is on to it Grin. If anyone hasn't read this series I highly recommend it. Start with the first in the series www.amazon.co.uk/No-Ladies-Detective-Agency-ebook/dp/B002TXZRRM/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&keywords=number+1+ladies+detective+agency&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1531123259&sr=1-1

Sorry to hear you've been unwell Cozie, but it's great to see you back. Very best wishes.

ArbunneHun · 09/07/2018 13:16

Anyone got the inside scoop on what’s going on with Salon? I know she’s had her baby, but is the Trading Standards investigation over or still ongoing? Is she able to work her Valentus bizniz or is she still banned?

And is she one of the ‘Top Leaders’ rumoured to be joining Total Shite Life????

I neeeeeeeeed to know!!!

ArbunneHun · 09/07/2018 13:22

Also: HATS OFF to the commenters calling bullshit on Wig’s latest unbelievable ‘bit coin’ (sic) post.

They’ve been called #haters, obvs, because they are jealous of Wig & Sleaze’s magical invisible money...

Twentytwentyhindsight · 09/07/2018 13:40

@ArbunneHun - it's not invisible, there are numbers on a scree.

It is there because of the LoA. As long as you believe hard enough that it's there, it is not only there but growing exponentially.

It will keep growing at random rates that bear no connection to any of the claimed remuneration levels, or to the actual value of bitcoin.

In fact, the money is whatever you wish it to be, and more.

Until you actually try to withdraw it, of course...

Whiterangey · 09/07/2018 14:32

@ArbunneHun She is still working her Valentus 'business' but trying to hide it, though not hiding it well. If she is still under investigation and not meant to be 'smashing it' they will know, she may think she's smart but she's not, she's up to her tits in MLM's for a start.

I personally think she is getting together her downline all ready for the massive once in a lifetime launch of TS Life. If I lost all of my morals and started up an MLM company Salon would be first on my list to hit up. Her downline has lost a huge amount of money in every scam she has dragged them into, yet they still come back for more and I think they would all get talked into the wonder that is mint choc chip milkshakes.

Messiah has commented on her facebook so they are friends.

I too desperately want to know more info about trading standards, they are taking an awfully long time if they are still investigating.

OP posts:
ArbunneHun · 09/07/2018 17:36

I wonder whether we can FOI Staffordshire Trading Standards...?

I might look into that.

Whiterangey · 10/07/2018 03:15

Yawn is still failing badly by using the Forever Living weight management crap.

Despite claiming she has dropped a dress size in 6 weeks, that is only on her waist, which has dropped from a 22 to a 20. Her chest is still an 18 , as it was 6 weeks ago, and her hips are still a 20. I guess she could argue that she no longer needs a 22 to go around her waist as that is now down to a 22, but the other 2 measurements are still in the same dress range.

This is despite doing a 10 week course with a 'healthy living guru'.

The Forever Living weight management products will have cost her hundreds of pounds these past 6 weeks, for very little weight loss. Calorie counting would have cost her nothing.

Learning to love her body also would have been free.

Maybe she will continue this, maybe she will lose weight.

What I do know is that she will continue to con women who want to lose weight out of hundreds of pounds for crap that just won't work. Detoxing your body is not a thing, it doesn't work, Yawn knows this, yet will be harping on about them.

If she does manage to lose weight she will be everywhere posting before and afters telling everyone how it was the Forever Living crap that did it and conning other women into buying it, knowing that it's bullshit.

I had a good chat with my local MP on Saturday who is absolutely brilliant. He had never heard of MLM but he grasped the basics fairly quickly and he's said if I send him an email about it, he will have a look into it. So that seems relatively promising.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 10/07/2018 08:15

I can't get those figures to add up at all on Yawn's screen shot Confused

Surely Week 3's loss is 12cm (not 16cm) and Week 5's is 10cm (not 19cm) making the overall total 22cm not 35cm

If Yawn would switch to LCHF she'd lose weight and inches effortlessly and it wouldn't cost a penny because it's just about eating real unprocessed foods. I've just bought a Phase Eight evening dress in sale 85% off. Totally chuffed that I got a bargain and it's a size 12 (was 24 before starting low carb two years+ ago).

ArbunneHun · 10/07/2018 13:42

I think it’s been deleted now, but Broke posted about how his CBD lifestyle meant he could spend precious time with his children. He referred to one of his sons as (his word, not mine) a ‘poofter’ because he had a pink dummy in his mouth.

Norma27 · 10/07/2018 14:09

Apparently yawn’s daughter has her first customer for when she is 18.
I have no actual words! Teaching your daughter to be as manipulative and as much of a liar as you is despicable.
We all know that forever shite is about to collapse inthe UK tho. I have never worries that my daughter will be in her downline.
We just need to get all pyramid schemes banned somehow tho.

ArbunneHun · 10/07/2018 14:18

I was just reading that @Norma27. It made me feel a bit sick, to be honest. Imagine taking pride in the fact that your child plans to recruit her friends into a pyramid scheme.
