MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

Next post from FL bot on local selling page:

People who lose money don’t work. Simple as that. Those who say it doesn’t work, didn’t work. Not a companies fault but the individual.
And that is explained when introduced to the company.

Like it or not it’s responsible for £3bn of the UKs economy and is allowing more people to work flexibly. Generates $168 Bn worldwide - it’s not a ‘fad’ or scam and as soon as people open their minds, accept this is a legitimate business then it will stop this ‘pyramid scheme’ nonsense. People who call it this simply haven’t bothered to do their research. Avon, Tupperware, body shop - all been around for years and are household names. Same business structure - network marketing but treated very differently just because people ‘know’ the name.
Network Marketing is here to stay - it may not be your cup of tea, that’s fine! It’s not for everyone, but it doesn’t make it illegitimate or any less of a business.
Instead of bashing them, embrace it! Help your neighbours sister who is trying to pay for her kids childcare or offer support to your friend who tried a different way of earning!!
I’m proud of what I do!!
That being said, spamming these sites is not how it should be done and does make for irritating reading!!

Spongebobette · 20/06/2018 21:55

WHat was the response?

rainbowfudgee · 20/06/2018 22:08

Some of the replies:

'I’m fed up with it why can’t these people get proper jobs !

oh god, the hunbots are going to lynch you for that!!

She's only been an ambassador in her pyramid of lies since yesterday according to her Facebook. She's not doing very well if her husband works 24/7 is she. It's just utter bullshit. She's totally suckered in and probably buys all her own candles so get that next incredible promotion.

Losing weight is one of the most difficult things to do in life. Some people are so desperate to lose weight and will spend hard earned money which they can’t really afford, on some dodgy product that will probably make you ill!!
Makes me sick!!

it is quite funny and they make it so easy 😂 there’s plenty of fresh posts just appeared must be that time of the day , their 8 kids are all in bed'

The bot is appearing to rise above it as FL is clearly not a pyramid scheme. She has now added me to her group as I casually asked which company she is with!

Blaablaablaa · 20/06/2018 22:13

Apologies if this has already been asked....inteletravel...MLM??

rainbowfudgee · 20/06/2018 22:18

Argh bot won't stop messaging me about the opportunity! Desperate much??

YouOKHun · 20/06/2018 22:22

Blaa yes, Inteletravel is MLM. I noticed yesterday that one of their bots claimed to by fully ABTA which isn’t true. Have a look at MLMbotwatchblog as I think there was something about this outfit on there.

Blaablaablaa · 20/06/2018 22:27

@youokhun thanks! Thought so....a FB friend just invited me to like her new business. Sounded very MLM like to me.

She's just put a recruitment request out. I'm really disappointed to see some of my friends express an interest.

YouOKHun · 20/06/2018 22:36

The thing is Blaa if they’re not ABTA or ATOL accredited (or whatever term they use for legit travel companies) then they can’t sell the product at all which leaves them open to accusations of being a pyramidscheme. It appears to be a recruiting device only. I heard one travel bot say they could get round this by selling other registered travel companies’ packages but not sure and it doesn’t sound like it would be very competitive for the holidaymaker!

Whiterangey · 21/06/2018 01:38

Here is a Bot Watch article on Inteletravel botwatch.blog/2018/04/05/all-you-need-to-know-about-inteletravel/

@Twentytwentyhindsight when reading your posts about the presentations I was no shocked, what I was shocked about was not having worked that out for myself. They are so devious that normal people can't predict it. I guess because we wouldn't lie, we tend not to think what others say is a lie, even if it's being said by known liars.

Given that Uber/Bestie/Yawn are seeing a decrease in their presentation attendees i'm guessing it's because bots are dropping like flies. Those who are more recent signups will soon realise they can't make money and just will stop bothering.

I looked earlier at presentations in 2015, they couldn't keep up with them. The monday cult meeting with Uber/Bestie/Yawn wasn't a thing, they each ran their own presentation meetings and they weren't empty. At one point Yawn had to send her husband to do one meeting while she did another.

There were trips all over the place, multiple trips abroad, speaking at FLP events, actually getting invited to FLP events, new sign ups, times were good.

Uber and the like were organisng countless team days and weekends consisting of a lot of fun, the top bots all had smiles on their faces, real smiles, not the trying to hide a fart type smiles they have now.

I noticed Uber tagged welsh bot in some 8 years of friendship thing. Uber said "we've had some good times". That was telling, had instead of have. They know it's over, even if it's subconsciously, i'm sure their own cult like training and belief in the secret and dream boards makes them think that if they just dream hard enough the good times will come back.

It really was insane just 3 years ago, they couldnt' spend their money fast enough, no problem it was coming in just as fast. Now you get the feeling they all hate each other, there are no manager team building weekends or anything like that, i'm guessing partly because there are no managers. Even the FLP events themselves are rubbish now, I was looking at events with 5000 plus, now it's a fraction of that.

The difference is huge, to the point that I actually felt bad for them for a bit before I got a hold of myself. Especially when Yawn was tagging new recruits and ones who had been with her for a little while who were making manager and were going to start earning £3000 a month, then when I looked at their profiles, forever living was nowhere to be seen, the £3000 a month was unlikely to ever have happened. She is still doing that today.

Thanks @white.....very helpful. I've come across a few mlm's but this was a new one!

@youokhun that's what it looked like to me. I just can't work out how she'll make money. Also seems a bit risky for the customers. Another person to mute!

SSDGM · 21/06/2018 07:36

BradfordBot is just taking the piss now.
The latest is obesity is caused by bad bacteria in the gut and she’s running an illegal raffle.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/06/2018 08:56

@Whiterangey - Here is a shot of the instructions not to tell the truth.

It is page 22 of the company brochure "First Steps to Manager", which is available as a pdf file on the FLP website:

www.onlineflp.com/media/files/First-Steps-to-Manager-01700-I-Singles.pdf

MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money
Spongebobette · 21/06/2018 09:47

Thank you so much for sharing that document @twentytwentyhindsight
It lays bare all of the sneaky strategies they use, including 'what are you prepared to work for!' at the bottom of every other page to keep bots motivated.
PS The awful 'who do you know' list!!! Gaaaah!!!

Spongebobette · 21/06/2018 09:51

and 'hot buttons' yuk yuk yuk

You can see Yawn using these shamelessly with her new victims, it's usually their tiny child.

Spongebobette · 21/06/2018 09:52

they try SO hard to make it not look like a pyramid. Use circles, that's not pyramidical is it! (page 12)

Whiterangey · 21/06/2018 09:56

@Twentytwentyhindsight That is fake news. I followed the link and all it talked about is building your business through recruitment, the only mention of products is the first box, using the products yourself, and showing them to others to get them to join the team.

As we all know Forever Living is based on retail sales and definitely not recruitment, you build your business by selling the high level and reasonable priced goods, recruitment is only because you are a good person and want to share with other people out of the kindness of your heart.

That handbook was all about recruitment recruitment recruitment. Obviously it must be fake, forever living is about selling high quality products at an affordable price or something.

Ha ha spot on @Whiterangey

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/06/2018 10:17

@Whiterangey - You're absolutely right of course.

Maybe it's an unfortunate error, and the real title of the brochure is actually "A guide for the philanthropic and totally optional sharing of this wonderful opportunity with everybody".

Maybe someone should point this out to them.

Spongebobette · 21/06/2018 10:19

'If you touch your business every day,
your goals and dreams will become a reality'

ha haaaaaaa haaaaaaaaa

Spongebobette · 21/06/2018 10:22

'Consider this: The more people you can recruit and duplicate,
the faster you will reach Manager'

Twentytwentyhindsight · 21/06/2018 10:29

We do not encourage FBIs to make health claims...
