MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Whiterangey · 29/05/2018 12:27

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

I must say that I am feeling a bit sorry for Yawn.
Yes she is one of the biggest shill bots and clearly has been and still does recruit aggressively and has an appealing reputation for the way she treats her downline.
However a lot of blame should also be apportioned to FLP U.K..
They have changed the terms of their bonuses etc, making it much harder for previously successful people to achieve the same.
If you worked in sales and your reputable company completely changed the terms of your employment and commission/bonuses meaning you were working just as hard or even harder for less you would be rightfully aggrieved.
Don't get me wrong I deplore MLM and their tactics and believe it should be banned. I also feel that Yawn has played a big part in her downfall with the way she treats people and the constant bragging.
However she is still a human/Mum/daughter etc and it must be terrible to have everything fall down around you.
To give her a dues she clearly has a thick skin as she is still plodding on with smoke & mirrors putting a game face on as if nothing is wrong.
I would be having a breakdown if I was losing everything around me!

Therulerofmyhouse · 14/06/2018 16:50

Sorry for the typo, I meant appalling not appealing!

Whiterangey · 14/06/2018 16:52

I had a look and she would have gotten a penalty for giving up her lease, especially this early. It could have been as much as the depreciation of the car, which will have been at least £10k, probably more.

When would she have known she wasn't getting a cheque? She only got the car in March and she wouldn't have gotten it if she knew how badly in debt she was. Unless she put keeping the car on her dream board and thought it would work out like it used to.

The dream board worked during the FL boom when top bots were making so much money, bit weird the dream board isn't working now they are broke. How strange.

They have also bought out the new aloe juice in cartons today. That is going to lose them a few FBO's who have amassed the old ones in their garages by buying their rank and hoping to sell them off.

When the new ones hit ebay, which will be very soon, lots of bots will just give up.

I don’t feel an ounce of sympathy for any of the shill bots. I used to be friends with Uber pre forever living. Still won’t feel sorry at all when she loses everything either.

They are con artists and peddling this shite knowing all their signups are going to lose money should put them in prison in my opinion.

Twirlywooer · 14/06/2018 17:16

Just wondering if anyone has any advice.... someone I know bought some JP shakes after being sucked in by their amazing weight loss claims. She has since seen the light and wants to return the unopened box of JP crap, but apparently they 'don't do refunds'. Is that allowed? Should she just put it down to experience?

Therulerofmyhouse · 14/06/2018 17:23

I'm not saying I feel sympathy, I live in same local area as Yawn and whilst I don't know her I do know quite a few people who have been drawn into FLP by her.
However she was a minion bot once and FLP will have employed its full brainwashing tactics on her like she now does to others.
She joined in the hey day when the rewards were plenty so I can understand a bit why she was seduced by the whole scheme.
I agree that she has perpetuated this style of bizness and for that deserves to be deplored.
However she is not quite Bernie Madoff or someone who cons pensioner out of their entire savings like the phishing scam artists do.

SSDGM · 14/06/2018 18:13

Jesus effing Christ why is no one prosecuting Bradfordbot?? She’s almost as bad as that fermented cabbage Jilly Juice Woman. She will be claiming it cures homosexuality and regrows limbs next!

Spongebobette · 14/06/2018 19:36

@fence80786 how do you know about the attempted remortgaging?

BangingOn · 14/06/2018 20:14

I think that the likes of Yawn leave themselves open to this type of criticism because they use wealth to entice new victims.

The top JP Bot I follow never talks about money. She spouts utter bullshit about flexible working, being the best mother in the world and makes dodgy health claims- but she doesn’t flash material items or talk cash, therefore I don’t judge her finances (just everything else!). She’s training for an Ironman event next month, probably just so she can post endless photos of her training regime with JP products in the background, but at least she’s actually doing something.

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 20:23

I see yawn has posted an old photo of her in the TT with a can of fabx. I remember seeing that photo not long after the TT appeared.

BangingOn · 14/06/2018 20:39

Castle is running a customer incentive where they can win a holiday for doing C9. Sounds legit.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/06/2018 20:40

I hate to say this but I think you might have made a mistake about the car as Yawn's wasn't/isn't a convertible like the one in the ad.

I think you're spot on about it being the first thing to go though, it's only a matter of time.

Like we've said before the sudden reduction in boast post photos is going to enable her to change her lifestyle and ditch things like the car without it being quite so obvious to casual observers.

Bovneydazzlers · 14/06/2018 20:54

It would be interesting to guess what the State of UK FLP would be if they hadn’t changed the compensation plan (where recruits aren’t now worth 1 not 2 ccs), I’m guessing it would still have droppedfrom 2016 but not the crash it hasn’t been.

Whilst Yawn Is interestingly to follow as her posts do epitimise shill bot tactics, I can imagine that she may feel hounded with all the attention and scrutiny over every background detail in her posts. The real villains are the ones who aren’t so boastful and showy, but who let other shills do their stuff, rake in the money, while being in full knowledge of the losses of thousands (I’m thinking bloodsucker, the old school men on the leaderboards who are quiet on Facebook but living off others misfortune, the UK MD...)
So I think I’d agree with the above poster that less focus should be on Yawn, at least for a little while!

I’ve been followings an FLPer who is desperate to make manager this month and has outback out a post pleading with people to help her by buying goods etc, Shen clearly believes that once manager she can relax, it’s sad as that’s just going add to pressure and the debts.

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 21:03

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny oh maybe I was a bit too quick off the mark then. It's certainly weird that all of her boastful Audi TTS announcement photos have gone though. I do think it's being sold or will be shortly.

Whiterangey · 14/06/2018 21:34

Whether now or later, the car will end up going. I thought it was strange she would return it when there would be such a hefty penalty for doing so.

It's true, all of her car announcement photos have gone, that is a bit weird, well a lot weird. It's one of the things she uses to show off the most.

Whiterangey · 14/06/2018 22:06

It's also interesting that she tried and failed to remortgage her house. She has to find £180k to pay back to her company, that isn't an easy thing to do when business isn't booming. Or she has to pay a huge tax bill on it if not as it will be taxed as a dividend, or under sole trader tax or something like that. I can't maths and I certainly can't accountant. Accountants who know what they are talking about say that taking money out of your company via the directors loan account thing is a really really bad decision. It's kind of a tax dodge, but HMRC are on to that and will tax her arse off.

OP posts:
Mlmcringe · 14/06/2018 22:33

It will be taxed as a loan written off so potentially as if it’s a salary. DLAs seem like free money. But they bite you in the arse

Therulerofmyhouse · 14/06/2018 22:41

I suppose the point of my previous posts is that we are losing sight of the bigger picture.

Whilst we should continue to highlight the top bots and their trickery and lies in pursuit of their own financial ends, there is a much bigger villain in all of this.

Rexy boy and his ilk lured all the top bots in many years ago, offered amazing incentives to get the ball rolling over here and they lapped it up and whilst they have made good money he is the one who has ultimately milked the UK market. He set the ball rolling as an entree to other markets and then changed the goal posts.

All the bots in the UK were victims at the beginning it's just that some bots turned into predators.

Now the market is waning here he is sitting back watching them all tear each other apart and doesn't really care as he really has no time for us
Women!

He will just move onto the next vulnerable emerging market, where he can make the women do all the work whilst he sits back counting his dollars.

Our anger is misplaced in this day and age of female empowerment.

dropdeadfitty · 15/06/2018 07:00

And so the point I made has borne fruit. I noted the comments made after I wrote about how the thread had focussed on Yawn and her lifestyle, what she had and what didn't have. A couple jumped on it justifying why they held her responsible - and there was no online bullying involved - spreading false information about the sale of her car, including a link to said car, VERIFYING the fact it was HER car because they knew the number plate.....

Others claimed that they knew she had been turned down for a remortgage? (how in God's name they know this information is beyond me - because knowing that kind of information is intrusive - and potentialy libelous, also a small matter of data protection would have to have been breached to obtain that information)

It's too much - now the thread is spreading lies and mistruths regarding Yawn - not facts, again I call this bullying - and those that try to justify it - I call bullshit - because you were adamant that you knew the truth about her that you are prepared to bring everybody else into your petty hatred of one person. A sad time indeed

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 15/06/2018 07:10

Roomie has set up a group for those living on a budget and trying to make ends meet.

If that doesn't tell you something about life as a lowly bot I don't know what does!

Whiterangey · 15/06/2018 08:34

Data protection does not have to be breached to know whether someone has been turned down for a remortgage.

We may have got the car wrong, but it's not petty hatred, she has ruined many many lives with her actions and continues to do so. She tells people, even now, they can be financially free with Forever and she knows that isn't going to happen and they will lose money, friends, and self esteem.

We want to bring them down, of course we do, or warn people what is going on.

You see her all bragging about being able to retire, we have proof she cannot, she owes 180k for a start. New recruits believe her, they believe they can be like her and be able to retire at whatever age she is now.

They are not victims, they create victims.

Yawn isn't the worst, bloodsucker is the worst, but Yawn is the most visible and she puts the most information about her lifestyle out there and part of what we are trying to do is show people it's all fake and that they should not join because they will not make any money, well 99.7% of them won't, likely higher in Forever in the UK now.

Would I prefer to focus on bloodsucker? Hell yes, i'd love a thread all about bloodsucker and I would love to see her end up penniless, i'd break out the champagne. I'd actually love to see her in prison, because I feel she deserves to. Unfortunately she is making money because she is ruthless and doesn't have a compassionate bone in her body. We cannot show she is lying about her income.

We can show that with Yawn because she puts it all out there.

OP posts:
Norma27 · 15/06/2018 08:49

I agree wholeheartedly with whiterangey.
I would love to be able to focus more on bloodsucker but she is cleverer than yawn about what she puts on social media.
I will crack open a bottle of champagne as each one loses everything, which I sincerely hope they do.

Norma27 · 15/06/2018 09:10

I’m so pleased I didn’t go to one of my favourite parks yesterday with my little one. I might have bumped into Uber.
Would she recognise me I wonder?!

fitgirl26 · 15/06/2018 09:29

Does anyone else occasionally search for Bots by their nicknames and wonder why nothing comes up? 😳

dropdeadfitty · 15/06/2018 09:31

I'm sorry but the information that you deduce from where exactly is flawed. You claim she owes £180K? How do you know this?
Do you have access to her bank accounts and statements? or indeed any of the business owners?
Statements like that are fact, the sold car statement made people talk like it was the end and that she had finally fallen on hard times - only to find out that the information is incorrect. That's damaging and wrong because any visitors to this thread looking for help or information are steered or swayed by this information. If it's wrong that will cause more harm.

Focus needs to be removed from the individual to the industry instead which is what the thread is about not have it focussed on one individual. I stand by my previous comments on cyber-bullying. I hate it, it's horrid and will always speak out regarding this issue.
