MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

I just stalked Yawn's photos and the great reveal photos of her new TT have been removed!

The last known sighting of it was 21 May surrounded by boxes of aloe. Search back through the pics, there's a couple of her and her husband in the car (red seats) but look back to Feb and all that remains is a picture of some wheels, and she was getting excited about it being built.

Madness.

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 06:03

24th March she posted a pic in the showroom captioned "wahhhh" (???) but the actual car pictures.. gone! So the car has indeed, gone ..

BangingOn · 14/06/2018 07:13

Bestie has sold her car too, in fact she seems to have started posting again.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/06/2018 07:22

Seeing as Yawn was supposedly heading to Nottingham she seems to have been heading in the wrong direction altogether!! Hmm

When was that photo @DoraExplorer99 ? Can't see that either..

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/06/2018 08:10

I don't remember seeing any ride-on mower pics either.

Are you following her on fb Dora as I seem to remember someone saying she's made a lot of posts visible to friends/followers only?

dropdeadfitty · 14/06/2018 08:29

So we have the weight issues, fatshaming and the lack of car, the justification to follow every single post whether it relates to FLP or not is what exactly?
If the thread is about MLM tactics, why do we have pages and pages of just a couple of people - surely there are more "leaders" from the other companies not mentioned on here at all. No one ever mentions Aiiirrrixx leaders or Scentsy - or Avon or Doterra - which is what the thread is about - I know nothing about those companies - just about Yawn and FLP people.

If this is simply about FLP and FLP only - then call it! - If you are going after leaders, then why are we not dissecting the lives of the top 30 people who are making the most money out of FLP? - again the constant barracking of the same person is looking shameful.
Justifying this by saying "well she started this by the way she marketed her life style and sold the business" doesn't cut it - Yawn is not the only one in FLP.

Online bullying has no room in my world - it doesnt belong here on this thread either - and I call bullshit on anyone who decides to justify otherwise

SSDGM · 14/06/2018 08:40

...And continuing the thread about ex bots realising that their industry is built on lies, this is a post from a former leader of (now defunct) super coffee MLM Xerveo:

MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money
Whiterangey · 14/06/2018 10:56

@dropdeadfitty If you follow leaders from those other companies then please feel free to add to the thread with information from those.

Yawn is a large part of these threads because she is one of the most visible FL top bots. They all lie the same, hide things, stretch the truth.

Bots stumble across these threads or people thinking about becoming bots see these threads and hopefully realise it's all a bit of a con.

She acts like her life is perfect, lots of money, loses huge amounts of weight with C9 and we redress that balance by telling the truth so hopefully people will be put off from joining.

She has told people she has enough money to retire, and if you join her downline you can get to where she is. If you read the OP then you will see why that is not true.

All the leaders in FL have come under fire, there have been blog posts things like that.

Some ladies here are responsible for taken down a whole MLM.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 14/06/2018 12:19

@dropdeadfitty if you think this is online bullying then you're spectacularly missing the point.
Yawn illustrates, probably more than any of the other bot leaders, how they manipulate the truth about absolutely everything in order to lure new recruits in.
The house, the car, the miracle weight loss, would never be achieved without FL (insert other MLM here because this is what they ALL do). What we're trying to do here is show how it's a web of lies - doctored photos, set-ups, lying by omission etc.
If this helps one person on this thread understand the subterfuge that goes on with MLM then we've made a difference. Online bullying is a red herring that's been thrown out here before, and it's absolutely not the case.

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 12:39

It may seem we are picking on yawn, but as others have said, it's because she's a con artist of the worst kind. The kind who picks on mums and guilts them about their kids, their looks and their possessions. She's particularly in the spotlight as she's the most prominent one who is on the verge of bankruptcy. The others have a little way to go before their plight is known.

Is anyone in the market for a slightly used Audi TTS with red leather seats?

Paddy1234 · 14/06/2018 13:20

I can assure everyone that Yawn is simply small fry in comparison to what I would like to see fail. The fact that FL pays no or next to nothing into our welfare state whereby everyone are 'business owners' makes my blood boil. I want to see this overpriced unethical company drown in the UK taking those top bots with it. The lies peddled to make huge amounts of money for a select few of which yawn was one of them is truly disgusting #you haven't seen anything yet, I can assure you that when we see BS/Uber/Castle/Welsh get a dose of reality the flags will be flying

Whiterangey · 14/06/2018 13:44

That's her car. I've checked the number plate out and it matches with the date she got it.

I'm actually a bit shocked. How does handing a car back when it's leased work? The car was brand new and to her specification, surely there must be some kind of penalty?

She obviously isn't making enough to get the car bonus now, one of the cars had to go back so they chose the family friendly one to keep.

The car isn't even 3 months old. I knew things were going bad for her, but I wasn't expecting it to be bad enough that a 3 month old car would need to go back.

Meanwhile, she's still acting like she is making a fortune, and telling that to people to recruit them.

I wonder what she has told people with regards to her missing car.

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 13:45

Oh once yawn falls, the rest won't be far behind. I think they may be smarter than her and maybe haven't had to do as much "keeping up with the Joneses" as yawn, because they're even higher up than her, and maybe they've saved some money rather than fritter it away on cars, bags, and homesense trinkets, but their time is near..

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 13:49

@Whiterangey I'm not entirely sure. I'm sure if she has the cash she could pay the full loan back (note, the loan will be more than the car's actual value). Of course she wouldn't have the cash.

Unless the showroom selling the car paid her a nominal amount (which will be far less than she paid for it and which they are reselling it for), and she then had to pay off the loan that way? The shortfall would not be small.. hope she enjoyed the 12 weeks with the car!

Whiterangey · 14/06/2018 13:59

Just being a top bot costs a lot, you have to pay out an awful lot, not to mention now times are a bit tough they will likely need to buy CC's by either buying extra stuff themselves or giving others the money to do so. Which is what they will have their downlines doing all the time so it's a taste of their own medicine.

She will be able to keep the house for a while longer with the spare money from not having the car, but the rate her business is dropping it won't be long until she will have to sell.

I wonder if she is struggling to pay back the 180k from the directors loan account.

Yawn brags about every little detail, she has been showing off how much better and richer than others for years, which is why it's noticeable now the car has gone. She was still showing off about the blue Audi. It didn't occur to me that the white Audi had just disappeared, her bots wouldn't notice either.

It's likely why she made up that bullshit yesterday, she would have needed the car at home so the kids could be picked up from school. She wouldn't have been able to tell the bots they now only have one car.

The other top bots aren't so showy off about the little things which are noticeable when they are gone. They must be really hurting as well.

I wonder what the global rally next year will look like?

OP posts:
SSDGM · 14/06/2018 14:15

The car isn’t bought with a loan, it would be leased. When I ordered an Audi for a company car last year I could order exactly the colour/spec I wanted. She will have paid a massive deposit and then monthly payments. You can surrender the car, but the deposit will be lost.

SSDGM · 14/06/2018 14:16

And bloody good detective work there.

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 14:24

@SSDGM haha thanks. I'm using mat leave well!
Ah I'd assumed she'd taken a loan and would have owned the car at the end of the loan. But for a lease, she's just renting it anyway?

SSDGM · 14/06/2018 14:26

Yes, it’s just renting. After 3 years she would have the option to buy at a discount, but usually what happens is you just swap it for a new one and carry on with monthly payments.

Fence80786 · 14/06/2018 14:40

@whiterangey

The show is nearly over for Yawn. Apparently, she was unable to remortgage and so the debts continue to mount. The husband’s car will soon follow and the for sale sign on her house will show itself this year, unless she defaults again and then the decision will be taken out of her hands.

Her saving grace is that her children aren’t in private school otherwise they would have been pulled out. Everywhere she turns she sees debts and the inability to turn things around. Uber hasn’t offered her help and nor has anyone else. I guess she could always have a car boot sale if things get really desperate......

moose23ishungry · 14/06/2018 14:43

@Fence80786 bahaha nice one, car boot sale GrinMay need to rent a car for that..

I don't envy her.. it must be terrifying to be so highly in debt and have nothing to show for it other than a garage full of aloe gloop and some heart shaped trinkets from homesense.

Thank god for eBay hey!

MLMsuperfan · 14/06/2018 15:24

Thang made a live about the benefits of her coffee. @3:40 "We've had women who've not been able to walk, who are now walking again".

Norma27 · 14/06/2018 15:30

Oh dear Yawn. What is despicable though is how she still tries to fake it to con more bits into losing money. Yawn we know you read this and Shame On You. How do you sleep at night?
