I wonder how Uber's ex husband feels about his children being on an open forum with photos for everyone to see - in recent months the number has decreased significantly - maybe a quiet word has been said ............ as it's all about the youngster now

Whiterangey · 14/05/2018 12:29

I've been reading through a good chunk of timeless vie blog posts, I went to the mlm tab and chose forever living.

I've read them all before, but had forgotten most of the information. While reading you can match bits up with the bots we are talking about, especially the money problems bits.

I'm especially pissed off to read that the owner and founder of Forever Living is homophobic. Gave $100,000 to the anti-gay marriage movement.

I am 100% totally a straight CIS woman. Do you want to know how much thinking time I give to what goes on in gay peoples bedrooms? Zero. It always makes me think that if you are giving it that much thinking time and are that concerned and interested in gay sex and those who are gay in general, that maybe, just maybe, you are currently in a closet.

In real life and on the internet I have a zero tolerance policy for homophobics, transphobics, and anyone who could be used as an example of the missing link. I will not let it be, I will not accept 'Everyone has the right to their own opinions and beliefs', I will tell you all about how you are a piece of shit.

The suicide rate for gay and/or transgendered teens is high, one of the reasons for that are people who donate lots of money to try and prevent the basic human right of marriage.

That $100,000 could have been better spent on preventing suicide in gay and trans kids. I'm rather certain his God would have approved of saving lives more than he approves of contributing to kids dying.

I also know Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, and Christians who are not homophobic in any way, so 'My church teaches', it's not a valid excuse.

Wanker.

Considering the cult like brainwashing that goes on they would likely give a response to being told that would go against how they would usually reply to something like that.

It can't be justified, so another excuse or just brushing it off would likely happen.

The only effect it has likely had is that those who do know will not buy the products and would stop anyone trying to recruit them before they got far into the recruiting speech.

Well said WhiteRangey.

I know that the daughter of one of the bots we are aware of and have mentioned is gay and in a relationship with another young woman.

Her mum is aware and supportive of her daughter's sexuality but how does she explain working for a homophobic, anti-gay marriage twat.

CraicMammy · 14/05/2018 13:11

Promoting bigotry - the complete opposite of “empowering”

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 13:28

@Whiterangey - Other people with experience of FLP may want to correct me if I'm wrong, but these are the sort of issues I don't thing bots are programmed to respond to (perhaps because they hope the bots will remain unaware of them).

My OH is a very strong supporter of women's rights and marriage equality. About the only time I have seen her genuinely uncomfortable defending FLP has been when I have raised the issue of the composition of FLP's leadership (corporate, not FBOs) - a bunch of men telling women what to do and expecting them to be grateful, and their dear founder's active opposition to equal marriage rights.

She is/was totally indoctrinated to believe FLP was the greatest force for good she had ever encountered, but clearly genuinely struggled with this. I believe it is probably a cause of great unhappiness struggling to suppress this 'negative cloud' over the perfect landscape...

NatashaShingles · 14/05/2018 13:52

@whiterangey I'm devastated hun, I had your dream board planning meeting all ready to go. I mean I know you said No but I know deep down its just a not now! 🖒

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 14:10

"Needs more work".

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/05/2018 14:47

I wonder how much money ( that they didn't have to begin with) was spent by the couple of victims of the photo shoot today?

£47 to attend, some guilt purchases in the hope that the Poonique and S&D bot buy something from you.....

In fact where does the £47 go? That would have been a fair chunk of money if all places had been taken rather than 2. That's a big loss so who has lost out??

Spongebobette · 14/05/2018 14:49

Think there were about 6 in the end

A bung to the cafe owner (a hundred quid?) and Yawn gets a free photo and trousers 200.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 15:03

Not sure how it all works out... Who were actually 'paying attendees'?

Not the photographer, not the café owner, not the 'makeup artist' (younique bot), the 'wardrobe consultant' (captain crap bot), the jewellery consultant (Stella & dot bot)...

That leaves Yawn and the only FL bot she managed to drag along.

Spongebobette · 14/05/2018 15:53

Poor old Yawn bought some shitty products from the other bots, wonder if they bought some gloop in return

I'm actually quite happy to see bots from different MLMs get together and sell each other their crap. Leaves the rest of us in peace!!

Whiterangey · 14/05/2018 16:03

I know why she bought the shitty products, Yawn, Pooniqu, and the Jewellry company probably spent the same amount of money with each other.

I was reading about something like it in the Timeless Vie articles i've been reading. They actually advertise on special groups for things like this, everyone has gone away with some extra CC's or whatever they are called in each MLM without having to buy them themselves.

Yawn is struggling desperately for customers and new people joining and i doubt she is getting either, so each of them buying a certain amount from each other benefits all of them.

Except they still had to lay out £££.Wink

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/05/2018 16:15

And like Spongebobette it leaves the rest of us in peace.

pullingknots · 14/05/2018 17:07

I'm dying to know who these bots are. I know who Castle is but don't know the others. Can anyone help?

I know who Brokebot is. His life is a true tragicomedy.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 17:22

Yeah, yawn's the big loser in this.

She certainly hasn't gained any kudos as the leader of the Networking Mummies thing - any other potentially interested business owners will not be tempted by what was in offer for them.

She will have had to pay for her photo, and couldn't realistically charge the Poonique, Stella & dot and captain crap bots for being there, as they were there to provide a free 'touch up' and lend clothes and accessories for the shoot.

In order to keep everyone who did attend at least likely to continue to attend her 'network', she has had to purchase a piece of overpriced tat from each one.

Surely whatever money was paid in went to the café owner for the lunch and the photographer for the mugshots. Everything else was complimentary.

Not great business, Yawn...

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 18:34

@Whiterangey - 'Bot barter' is a mug's game. It is not even zero sum, as the products are overpriced, unwanted and unsaleable. They have ended up paying for it and then swapping it for something they neither need nor want.

While it would be great if they all went to live in Botsville, Botland and hunned no one but each other, we all know it is about recruiting, not sales or products. Botland would erupt into civil war, then the hordes of recruitment-crazed hordes would rampage into neighbouring lands...

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 18:39

That second 'hordes' should read as 'huns'. Anyone who paid attention in history lessons knows that Vikings and Huns come in hordes.

Whiterangey · 14/05/2018 18:54

I can't get my head round all of the people who were their with their bizniz making out it was a very awesome successful day. The most successful and awesome day in the history of days.

So successful in fact that Meghan Markle has suddenly changed who will be providing her frock, her jewellry, and doing her makeup on Saturday.

The only proper paying customer was one of Yawn's bots and she was likely there in the hope of getting new business as well.

It was all a terrible disaster, the only winner was the photographer, but I imagine shooting people with shit makeup on is not easy.

OP posts:
Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2018 19:27

Not sure if the photographer was much of a winner..

If there were 2 paying bots, she had to share the £94 with the café owner, lug all her kit to and from the venue, buy lunch, spend a couple of hours working and fending off the advances of a variety of custom-starved bots...

Not much of a return, but better than Yawn's. Still, at least she has the Dallas cheque to fall back on. Oh, wait...

aevin · 14/05/2018 19:31

Remind me please which is the bot name of the one that was a police officer?
