36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

Thank you Dora. The constant pressure to sell and recruit sounds like one of the circles of hell. It's worse than anything Hieronymous Bosch ever came up with.

Sean1984 · 26/03/2018 00:39

Can i ask when a uber bot gets a cheque, like the one mentioned on previous page of over $1 million ,do they actually physically get this money paid into their bank account for them only and only them, ,or is this money split between them and memebers of the downline? (Less tax pf courseWink)

Whiterangey · 26/03/2018 02:19

The money gets paid into the bank account they get their usual bonuses paid into a few days after they receive the cheque. They have no idea how much the cheque will be until they receive it, although they can make an educated guess.

All of it goes to them. Obviously they have to pay tax on it, well not all of them obviously.

Whiterangey · 26/03/2018 03:25

Something I have noticed is that the majority of what appears on the bots accounts on companies house are their bonus cheques. It appears that whatever they receive from their downline is small in comparison to the cheques.

I just wish that all the information about the financials was available to new recruits in FL. It is, they could go looking, but they won't, because they wouldn't think to. I also think that if confronted with the facts quite a few would still sign up.

Also, what the hell is 'Adjustment Day' It seems to be a day when you can place an order with someone at FL to get case credits that you need for that month if you are working towards an incentive.

Is that right? If you are lacking in CC you can make it up by just ordering from FL and it's what they tell you to do? I'm really confused as to what 'Adjustment Day' is. It sounds expensive though.

“Something I have noticed is that the majority of what appears on the bots accounts on companies house are their bonus cheques. It appears that whatever they receive from their downline is small in comparison to the cheques.”
Of course, because the bonuses are for recruiting new people into the “business” which is what keeps it all going.

I don’t think my friend has ever forgiven me for not taking up the wonderful opportunity with FLP & now every time I get ill she uses it as an opportunity to tell me it’s because I don’t drink aloe or have their products.

My son is 3 and pretty much anything he comes down with me and dh get too & most parents of young children are the same!

She used to be a nice person, now every conversation is about FLP or will turn to it.

Thanks everyone for explaining so clearly the system. It is all so depressing, isn't it? Such a waste of time, energy, family relationships, friendships, career-building, health (mental particularly).

At what point does realisation dawn that it's all a load of sh1t? Then the difficulty of untangling yourself from the sticky tentacles and suffering the rejection of people you thought of as 'friends'. Scary. Even more scary is facing the calculation of how much you actually made and how much it cost you.

This is why I hate MLM.

crumpetsfortea37 · 26/03/2018 08:10

Thanks so much to everyone for the info on Flp manager roles and remunerations - it really seems small reward for a large amount of effort.

cozietoesie · 26/03/2018 08:16

Dora

Do any of the 'high heid yins' ever ........share those cheques?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/03/2018 08:59

I'm sure that at the top 'arrangements' can be made, say, to help someone identified as a 'poster girl/boy' for recruitment to project a lifestyle beyond their actual FL earnings, but that would be cheating, wouldn't it?

cozietoesie · 26/03/2018 09:04

I'm always frazzled by the calculation of the few 'megacheques'. They have to have at least a few - for PR purposes - but trying to work out how they're calculated is near on impossible. Wink

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/03/2018 09:36

Once my Dad had politely listened to my OH's sixth speech about how lucky she was to "work for a company whose chairman would so generously dip into his own pocket to reward hard work", he took me aside and said "she does realise that it's like the zero-hours, minimum wage cleaners at Barclay's corporate HQ crowing that they're blessed because the top investment bankers get such high bonuses?"

cozietoesie · 26/03/2018 10:21

Obviously not.

entrepeneur · 26/03/2018 10:41

It absolutely baffles me when BossBabes talk about their CEO. How can a Boss have a CEO?!

On another note, do any FL Bots concert to Mormonism to show their devotion to the real CEO? Would that get them bigger bonuses?

Eddierussett · 26/03/2018 10:56

I am amused by a highly educted bots speculation that getting a puncture on two occasions on the same route means the universe must have a message for her (beyond the road probably being in need of maintenance and her tyres needing checking more often and some bad luck). Law of attraction really is a load of bollocks....

ArbunneHun · 26/03/2018 15:16

One of Salon’s immediate downline in Valentus (who quietly left last year and is now wrapped up in a travel MLM) has posted asking for advice on weightloss products.

Can’t help wondering why she hasn’t asked some of her former #VSisters for some Trim/Prevail.

You know, it’s almost like the brilliant Valentus skinny coffee DOESN’T WORK.

SpringHen · 26/03/2018 15:34

ArbunneHun

that is a standard MLM line though
ask for weightloss "advice"
Get an excuse to DM and ask the posters "thanks for the tips hun, are you doing it all on will power or are you usinh patches/keto too?"
"whats that?"

Whiterangey · 26/03/2018 17:00

@ArbunneHun That is fantastic!

Valentus was magic and you could drop 4 stones in under 30 minutes with one cup of coffee, or something like that.

Targeting other women, fatshaming, and trying to sell some bogus weight loss product, and now she is asking for a miracle weight loss product herself. I hope all of the women who she conned into handing over their money have seen that.

Same with the C9 when the bots say you can lose lots of weight and detox for the low low price of over £100. Playing on insecurities to get money from people is disgusting, charging them a lot of money for something that doesn't work is even worse.

I'll tell you my detox secret for free. It's called a liver.

ArbunneHun · 26/03/2018 19:11

One of the last few stubbornly clinging on #VSisters is a guest speaker at a conference called Ignite later in the year. It’s her, some law of attraction people/mindset coaches plus other special guests ‘yet to be announced’.

Tickets for the 2 days start at £140 and go up to... wait for it... £700 for the ‘VIP’ package.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/03/2018 20:48

Something or other going off down brokebot's way, but my gibberish glossaries are not up to the task of deciphering it.
A "The Truth" live due for those that can take it (I'm right out if booze). I always think they should be introduced with the circus clown theme...

SSDGM · 26/03/2018 21:38

I think he’s done a live and taken it down because he’s left Organo. It’s all so professional. I’m sorry I’m a jealous hater when all this is going on. I wish I was a real businessperson like them.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/03/2018 21:44

He's got a travel agent certificate & all, I'll have you know!

cozietoesie · 26/03/2018 21:47

What exactly is a 'travel agent certificate'?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/03/2018 21:50

23 Quid for a pdf, it would seem.
