MLM Bot Watch 36 - Those who think it's ok to tell white lies soon become colourblind

36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

Sounds like a contractual offer to me...

SSDGM · 13/03/2018 15:37

... Especially as she is saying you can "jump straight in" at the level you want to be.. Is she going to pay those as salaries to the 3 places she is offering?

SSDGM · 13/03/2018 15:45

Sleaze is about, but only commenting on posts on Wig's timeline.
Wig has replied to one post talking about "not getting scammed and losing our valuable coins again"...

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 16:18

Brokebot has been bragging that he is has been on the “world top ten leaderboard” of his travel MLM since joining. I don’t believe anyone will have been foolish enough to part with serious money to book a holiday with that clown. Ergo, the whole thing is a recruitment pyramid.

sparkleyes · 13/03/2018 16:28

I'm sure if he had booked a holiday he would be all over his fb with it. But Huns he is a proper travel agent aha!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 16:31

Apologies for barging in. I’m a long time lurker who has had first-hand experience of the destructive effects of MLM as a FL widower. Thanks to all on here who have helped me make sense of it all and given a forum for fighting back.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 16:33

@ sparkleyes, he paid £23 for a course and has got a certificate and everything!

Spongebobette · 13/03/2018 16:38

‘Product recommenders’ ha ha haa

This means: buy all the products you can so you can demo them and try to flog some
Meaning you spend money!! Because, guess what, YOU are the customer!

Why won’t the company provide samples for their ‘product recommenders’, why do they have to sink their own money in??

Whiterangey · 13/03/2018 16:47

It does very much look like Yawn has made illegal income claims.

A product recommender will earn between £200 - £400 per month.

I recommend you use anything but forever living products.

When do I get my money? I guess I have to wait for Fri-pay.

@SSDGM so it's more of a pyramid scheme than an MLM as I haven't seen one single holiday sold, and that would be something they would be boasting about everywhere.

SSDGM · 13/03/2018 16:50

Oh yes, the page I posted the screen shot of last night has been going since last year and there is not a single holiday offer or customer testimonial on it. Just “what’s your favourite hotel?” “Wouldn’t you like to be a travel agent?” Crap.

cozietoesie · 13/03/2018 17:13

Welcome, Twenty.Smile

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 17:20

Thanks Cozie, will do my best not to unload too much of the negativity here, there’s a lot bottled up.

TizzleBizzle · 13/03/2018 17:25

@twentytwentyhindsight is your oh still involved in FL? Would be interested to hear your story.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 17:40

@Tizzle, unfortunately yes, after eight years of making less then a part-time minimum wage job, racking up credit card debts, coming into an inheritance that is being spent on ‘faking it’, and now doing a job that’s based on working mainly evenings & weekends to actually pay the bills, she is far enough down the rabbit hole that FL is still “an amazing opportunity to earn an uncapped income while being there for my kids”...

Spongebobette · 13/03/2018 18:13

Oh so sorry @Twenty

fitgirl26 · 13/03/2018 18:17

Were Wig 'n Sleaze involved in Usi? There's talk of contracts being put out on the dark web for the Bots right at the top. 😳 I see Brokebot's Ex has neatly stepped away from it (again) and is now flogging something else and rowing with Brokebot via Facebook. I'd love to see the contents of her group chats.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 18:27

@ Sponge, shit happens and you deal with it. However, our kids have been denied otherwise attainable stuff (e.g. holidays), and the chance of debt-free study (although I blame the govt. for being at the root of that).
Although I harbour a deep resentment for my OH and her actions, she is a victim, although she doesn’t know it.

cozietoesie · 13/03/2018 18:38

I'm so sorry, Twenty. Is she showing not a trace of 'awareness'?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 18:59

Nope. The anger I feel means that I tend to avoid the conversation in order not to end up shouting. On the few occasions I have been able to raise it, it is clear that the ‘Law of attraction’ mindset training kicks in and the shutters come down, any point being made is dispatched to the ‘negativity that must be avoided’ place. I have become used to it, but it is quite startling how a sensible, rational person can end up so far down a place where up is down, good is bad, and spending money you don’t have will make you rich...

ArbunneHun · 13/03/2018 19:06

WigNSleaze were INDEED pushers of USI. I have messages from Wig to prove it. Don’t think they were anywhere near the top though. Brokie’s Ex was in deep too - claimed it paid for her Disney holiday with first class flights for her & her children.

cozietoesie · 13/03/2018 19:16

But yet you stay with it, Twenty? (You must have been sore tempted to 'cut your losses' and move out with the kids? )

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 19:29

It’s a moot point Cozie. Following redundancy from a relatively well paid manual job a few years ago, I now am now self-employed in a completely different line of work, and making enough money to get by, albeit the extras were predicated on my OH working. We live as separate lives as we can in a small flat, while trying not to let in to the kids that we don’t have a relationship. We cannot afford to run two households and I do not trust her rationality if it came to a solution where she would (ideally) move out. Despite being an ‘independent business owner’, she could not even afford a bedsit. So we endure.

cozietoesie · 13/03/2018 19:39

Is it 'enduring' and staying stable, financially, though - or is it enduring and going slowly downhill?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/03/2018 20:03

It’s certainly not getting any better, neither is it likely to. Still, it’s hard to see any alternatives at the moment. (Unless her ‘biznis’ suddenly takes off and she starts making ‘six figures monthly’, pigs start flying and we can live separate lives). But enough of this for now please, it remains raw, if not fresh. I do mean to share the full experience if it can help bring down the scourge of MLM, but I am only just coming out- I need a bit of time to find my feet.

cozietoesie · 13/03/2018 21:03

No problem, Twenty. We're here to talk to. (As is Elle Beau's blog to read - have you dipped into that yet?) Smile
