36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

I cant speak for everyone but my own experience of lanzabot is this..... pain in my arse most of the time but big heart underneath the brave exterior. She absolutely has alot to offer coaching wise, her family and background has always been traditional business and she is the pure definition of entrepreneur. She always helped reps out of her payline and very often went beyond for people. In all honesty she was the first person in flp who actually taught me how to behave like a professional and not a total recruitment beg! She coached and trained great ethics and behaviour and whether I was "working" or not she always supported. Since I've left she continues to do so. The lifestyle you see her portray is genuine and having spent lots of time with her and her family over the years I can hand on heart say shes got a lot to offer anyone in any business. As for her friend, I dont know her personally but I do know shes not an arsehole either! The rest of the flp leaders I agree with you about, but lanzabot, apart from the dodgy lip fillers and the occasional moments of bravado, is a pretty good egg in my experience.

cozietoesie · 28/02/2018 13:22

Thanks for that, Natasha. It's good to get a rounded view. Smile

Out of interest, which came first ?

Whiterangey · 28/02/2018 14:20

Valentus and Vitae have settled their lawsuit.

behindmlm.com/companies/valentus/valentus-advanced-laboratories-and-vitae-global-settle-3-1-mill-lawsuit/

Apparently Vitae has all but collapsed according to Alexa, and Valentus went into decline but has now levelled out.

Whiterangey · 28/02/2018 14:31

That's interesting about Lanzabot.

It sounds like bullying is rife in forever, do the top bots all hate each other then? I guessed they probably don't all get along, but it's hard to tell when it's all fixed smiles in photos.

Which ones are really bad?

NatashaShingles · 28/02/2018 17:03

Lanzabot genuinely loves what she does, she is a true professional though in terms of having respect for others leaders in front of people. However shes very straight talking when she needs to be and often voices opinions on bullying behaviour. She had the businesses first including her villa rentals. When flp reps stay at the villa they get it at a discount and she will make the time to take them out for dinner or do some training regardless of whos team they are in. She even packs the fridge out with champers for you!! Lol. Im actually really pleased to see others in here with the same opinion of her. Im sure shes upset a few people at some point but shes a no BS kinda woman and thats not always going to go down well with everyone whether its mlm or not. Shes the only leader in flp that I have any time for other than the 2 ladies that were my immediate sponsor and upline.

Mielabel · 28/02/2018 18:47

My cynicism must have gotten the better of me with Lanzabot, it's fantastic to be able to receive more rounded views here when appropriate. I remember watching a recruitment video of hers a year or two ago and she very much pushed the 'willable income' and other areas of FLP that aren't really as they seem, so I presumed with that and her success in the industry she was another happy scammer.

I do find it genuinely interesting that someone who seems morally sound and a legitimate passionate businesswoman would be so deeply into network marketing. I'd love to know her real thoughts on this, whether she REALLY and truly believes it is a good industry, or whether she only realised too late and it's decent income, so she carries on, turning a blind eye. Especially as I've heard people like you Natasha mention that in a certain level in FLP it has to start getting corrupt. Wonder if there's any way to be a successful network marketer and avoid that.

I guess I just wish it worked. Not for me anymore as I'm thankfully in a nice position at last but I yet again came across someone today who desperately needs a work from home job due to chronic ill health and there's just nothing out there. This is why MLM is so popular. Won't genuine businesses fill this gap in this age where you are meant to be able to work from anywhere? It makes me sad.

metroherald24.com/katie-price-starts-surprising-new-business-venture/?adset=Adset+1+F+30&adid=ad009&int=noint&gender=W

Just found this thread sorry. Katie Price is endorsing Crypto currencies and this is a sponsored ad on facebook. As usual there are comments removed from under the advert.

BSintolerant · 28/02/2018 19:53

Mielabel was that recruitment video the one where she showed a photo of a lady in an African village selling Forever Living products at the side of the road? "If she can do it what's your excuse?" or words to that effect.

How very ethical.

Why did her downline diminish?

Whiterangey · 28/02/2018 20:40

@rainbowfudgee That isn't a real article or ad, someone has just stolen Katie's photos and mocked up quotes and a tweet to pretend she is backing the scam to lure more people in. She has nothing to do with it.

Mielabel · 28/02/2018 21:38

BS, yes I think that rings a bell! Grin

BSintolerant · 28/02/2018 22:05

I remember the bit in the video about how bots could customise their clothes with the Forever Living logo. Yes, really. That sort of thing could be useful as we wouldn't have to consult the Observers Guide to Botwatching to identify which species the bots belong to.Grin

There was also stuff about trying to recruit everyone you meet - including taxi drivers.

If I were driving a taxi and someone tried to recruit me into an MLM scheme I'd seriously consider the benefits of fitting an ejector seat in my vehicle.

ReformedBot · 28/02/2018 23:29

Castlebot has been to the cinema! She updated Instagram around 6 times to reflect this, twice of which are videos she has taken of the movie playing... this is not normal behaviour! Also, piracy? 🤔

A UK Usi-Tech pimp has posted about the sad demise of Toys R Us and wants people to contact him to get "financial freedom". Other Bots are commenting that online "businesses" are the way forward. Yep - because blatant Ponzi schemes are sooo much more secure than a J.O.B. FFS 😡

SSDGM · 01/03/2018 09:08

Lip & Porsche bots have removed all mention of being mammapreneurs and coffee kings and queens from their FB profiles. Looks like they didn’t get to Black Diamond after all...

SSDGM · 01/03/2018 09:11

No mentions of coffee from Carplanbot either, who is Bradfordbots upline.

Organo was a damp squib then?

Kathysclown · 01/03/2018 09:29

MillionDollarChequeBot is gearing up for the big announcement.....

Any bets on what it is?!

I reckon Crypto......

rainbowfudgee · 01/03/2018 10:57

A Facebook friend ofinexpensive has shared a so called inspirational video about the 9-5 being a waste of time, etc. He used to be a monk and has loads of fb followers. He does speeches for events etc. I think he may be linked to mlm for the bullshit element but can't find any info linking him to mlm on his website- lots of talk of mindset and dreaming big etc so wondered if anyone could confirm he is involved with mlm? He makes youtube videos.

rainbowfudgee · 01/03/2018 10:57

Facebook friend of mine

BSintolerant · 01/03/2018 11:06

A black diamond is another word for a lump of coal, isn't it? I'd rather be a flappy pigeon! Grin

ArbunneHun · 01/03/2018 11:49

I thought USI was dead????

fitgirl26 · 01/03/2018 14:06

Usi Mark 2 is rising like a Phoenix from the ashes...

ArbunneHun · 01/03/2018 14:25

Is the Phoenix ref. a clue...? x

NatashaShingles · 01/03/2018 14:45

Its worth remembering that reference to mindset and motivation doesn't guarantee an mlm link. I swear by mindset training and motivational stories/speakers. It 100% is the difference between the person who complains all day about how shit their life is and the person who finds a solution to every problem thrown at them. Mindset only means "mlm manipulation" when its being coached for personal gain only and does not benefit the student in any way whatsoever. For eg: "You have the personality of a dead fish but keep telling yourself it will happen and the range rover will appear" .... you get the idea! 😂
