I know there are lots of variables but just being nosey and wondering, what everyone pays for their mortgage every month? How does this compare to your (combined if have a partner) monthly take home pay?
I pay £700 on mortgage (plus £250 overpayment) and have combined income of £3700 after tax, childcare vouchers etc. Thanks!

Income £3200 ish, mortgage £400. We don’t worry about overpaying. We just pay the monthly agreed amount and enjoy what’s left over after that and all the bills have gone out!

RavenLG · 11/02/2018 20:45

Joint income of £7k per month after tax and other deductions. Mortgage is £1k per month - we shortened the term by a few years on the last renewal so it went up. We'll also make at least a £10k overpayment this year.

roseannaleeXo · 12/02/2018 06:37
