Sorry. That was a reference to Toobusy's post.

NatashaShingles · 28/11/2017 22:38

@arbunne yea thats what I meant lol. Bitcoin itself isn't the problem its the trading companies. Trading fullstop is way too much for my brain to handle anyway I'm going to stick to messing about on facebook.... far easier lol x

Toobusytowee · 28/11/2017 23:52

Cozie, yes Monat are just in the US and Canada.

As a former FL not myself I feel so embarrassed when I look back at my Facebook posts... arghhhh . I really got sucked in with the hype as I was at a crossroads in my life whereby I thought FL was the answer to my financial woes.
I made no money at all and spent most of my time scrolling Facebook and traveling to ‘business presentations ‘
It has made me grateful for my J.O.B .
I still watch the FL team pages in amazment that some as still chasing this pointless exercise. Top boys make there money on selling side line ‘products ‘ to their down lines... books / planners / courses.
It’s not a real business... and they are not entrepreneurs.... beware at all costs & don’t get sucked in!!

cozietoesie · 29/11/2017 10:47

Glad you're out now, user. Smile

Oh - and no need to feel embarrassed here. We know the methods which are used. Wink

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 29/11/2017 13:16

Definitely don't be embarrassed User. As you said yourself , you were at a crossroads in your life, vulnerable from financial worries and maybe other issues and they took advantage of that.

Thank goodness you are out of it now and can see it for what it was.

DoratheExplorer17 · 29/11/2017 19:37

The top top bots do actually make a lot of money from flp and I'm talking the 4 or 5 'were' making over £40k per month. But that was at its highest. This will definitely have dropped due to the decline. I would also say the rest of the top 10 bots were making between £10k and £20k per month and the rest of the top 20 around £8k-£10k per month. But out of the hundreds of thousands of people who have joined, this is a tiny fraction of people who make money. These bots then use their status to make more money out of their downlines, by selling them planners, books and CDs. So it will continue to be the same very few people who make money. I barely see anyone talking about recruiting anymore. Let's hope people really are seeing it for what it is and stay well away.

cozietoesie · 29/11/2017 19:52

As I've said before, I don't think that anyone doubts that a few people make serious money. A very few that is. (And where/who does that money come from???) Wink

DoratheExplorer17 · 29/11/2017 20:22

Yep.....it ALL comes from their downline. Almost all of it. As we all know, it's only possible to make a few hundred pounds in actual sales. The rest is from other people's sales!

On the subject of mortgages, the bots who have bought, will have had to put a huge deposit down, so that will be where the big cheques were spent, but seeing as those cheques were much much smaller last year, I suspect a lot less mortgage wasn't paid off than they hoped for

Bots are told not to let on to targets that the so-called business presentations take place every week. I guess the idea behind that is to present their ammmmmmaaaaaaazing opportunity as one which is not to be missed.

Thank goodness people can see that network marketing is a con - unless you're a shill making money out of passion planners, training, renting out properties to hold training events, software and other tools.

Has anyone noticed how certain shills are promoting other people's real businesses on Facebook with likes and shares? Is that because the people they're supporting are doing a bit of FL and are thinking of knocking aloe on the head, so the shills are pretending to support their businesses so they'll feel guilty and less likely to quit FL?

Or are shills trying to lure in real business people into flogging aloe?

BSintolerant · 29/11/2017 20:38

I've noticed a couple of shills are selling their houses. Mmm ....

cozietoesie · 29/11/2017 20:45

Both - or all (because I can see a couple more reasons) - probably. Smile

BSintolerant · 29/11/2017 21:58

Spill the beans Cozie!

cozietoesie · 29/11/2017 22:46

No beans. Smile Just that 'it's nice to be nice'. (And keeping your escape hatch lightly greased never hurts. Wink)

Sean1984 · 29/11/2017 23:17

Oh good god, brokeflatbot high fiving random people! Im cringing just watching. This guy is gas, i love going into his page every week to see what shit hes selling this week!! So the first coffe mlm was fantastic, earning “4 figures”,then the arse fell out of that, and onto an even better coffee mlm, earning “4 figures”,then the arse fell out of that, and now onto a 3rd coffee mlm!! Ffs! Im sure the arse will gall out of that too. How many mlms has this guy been in. Its funny at this stage.

BSintolerant · 29/11/2017 23:28

Cozie - the thought of you lightly greasing your escape hatch both disturbs and amuses me. Grin

Do you use skinny lard?

sean These coffee bots should refrain from greasing their escape hatches. It might stop their arses from falling out.

Is there any such thing as a pARSElaii plug? Shock

cozietoesie · 29/11/2017 23:31

It's so so sad, really, though. Very difficult - sometimes impossible - to admit you've been a fool about something and start again in a genuine way.

cozietoesie · 29/11/2017 23:33

The difference, BS, is that I don't really need one. Grin

BSintolerant · 29/11/2017 23:47

Joking apart, it is difficult. Anyone can be taken in by MLM schemes and the shills who are trying to sell people their lifestyles. I think once the shame, embarrassment, an mourning of time, money, and lost friends has passed I'd be very fucking angry and would want to rip someone a new escape hatch.

Did any of the escapees who have shared their stories here feel like this?

SSDGM · 30/11/2017 06:22

Brokebot and Milliondollarchequebot are having a passive aggressive off on Facebook. Why don’t they just join each other’s teams (hun) and take all their simpering followers with them? All that coffee and shitty tea, they could open a cafe!

Boxes of Organo are being sold for half the price Valentus was, I’m thinkimg the bots are having trouble shifting it? Also still not seen this wonderful UK compliant Valentus packaging yet, just a shit tonne of recruiting in South Africa and one of Salon’s cronies is doing a recruitment day in Tenerife in December. Must be going for the ex-pats.

fitgirl26 · 30/11/2017 09:00

A Valentus Bot commenting about how lucky she is to be able to afford Christmas presents for her precious little WHY unlike some people. Yes - unlike the loads of people you've conned into joined your shitty coffee pyramid scheme having already scammed them with LTW.

NatashaShingles · 30/11/2017 14:40

I wouldnt pay too much attention to the Valentus bots income boasts.... most of them are just about scraping $100 a week at mo! Volume figures are rapidly declining every month. July was 800,000 and November was sat at 114,000 last count! So unless Christmas is being paid for by provident loans im not really sure what they are banging on about lol

msgyouhuns · 30/11/2017 20:52

A top nuskin (team elite) bot posted a live today, admitting during it that she used to get a few hundred viewers but today only 70. A big decline in the interest that social media generates for her, even said herself people are sick of it! Also sold her trophy car a few days ago

Hopefully this is a sign of less people getting sucked in and losing out on these schemes :)

GoldenKelpie · 01/12/2017 03:32

A colleague I worked with until very recently is still immersed in Arbonne Sad. I had thought that she had kicked it to the kerb because she wasn't talking about it on fb for a few months. How wrong I was. Obviously her upline has been re-energising her and now her fb feed has all sorts of MLM crap which, in stark contrast to her personal "normal" comments elicit no likes or comments whatsoever. Thankfully she never mentions it at work (would not be acceptable in the workplace).

Anyway she posted something at the beginning of November about doing some #30daystohealthyliving shite thing and has been battling ill health ever since. This is her regime:-

"Tomorrow I am starting Arbonne’s #30DaysToHealthyLiving plan, cutting out some of the main allergens and unhealthy ingredients.
No dairy ❎ no alcohol ❎ no refined sugar ❎ no gluten ❎ and keeping my intake of meat to a minimum. Also going to avoid tea and coffee, fatty foods, and ensure I eat lots of fruit and veg..." It doesn't leave much food left to eat and is obviously the reason she feels ill Sad. It is such a shame as she works in an important profession and is a young intelligent and really lovely young woman. Why she does this awful fb peddling I cannot fathom.

I desperately hope she comes to her senses soon.

Watched the end of a fascinating live this morning. American Younique Bot was on track to hit Black status 1 and was live streaming it. She was SCREAMING at her followers and downline to get people to buy makeup so she could hit before deadline. She was sobbing throughout and when midnight came and she hadn’t hit she looked like she had been told she had a serious illness. She and everyone around her just looked utterly defeated.
While the owner of Younique slept soundly, I’ll imagine.
