BethanyBarleywater · 25/07/2017 20:03

Be patient! Stokebot is inundated!!!

Ladiva1971 · 25/07/2017 20:28

Just managed to log in from sunny Spain, catching up nearly choked on my sangria checking out card reader bots C9 images. Any one else think Stokebrokebot ex mate looks like the little guy from the BGO Advert! !

Moose23IsHungry · 25/07/2017 21:05

Ladiva, I wanted to comment, "Geez AngelCardReader, you done great Hun!" - but don't want to invite a response full of aloe wisdom..

I've been trying to watch a whole video from Salonbot... But it's just rubbish. If I try to make sense of it, it will end in madness, no???

And she's flashing the cash. And she's definitely NOT lying.

And bragging about all the new enrollees who, I assume, are funding her lifestyle.

She'd probs say I was jealous... But mostly I just think it's obscene.

cozietoesie · 27/07/2017 00:33

....who, I assume, are funding her lifestyle.....

That's likely a fair assumption - even if maybe not directly.

Spongebobette · 27/07/2017 09:13

Oh she's making money. Doesn't she get cash for every new person enrolled?

OP posts:
acatcalledjohn · 27/07/2017 09:24

Yes, she does.

Money motivates the utter materialist she is. She's only mastered the art of shedding crocodile tears to fool people in to funding her lifestyle.

Annie65 · 28/07/2017 15:57

Its all kicking off now with Stokebot and his ex-matebot eeeeeekkkkkkkk

Ladiva1971 · 28/07/2017 16:36

It's just too exiting! !!!

Cakietea · 28/07/2017 18:17

The kicking off is hilarious Grin

Cakietea · 28/07/2017 18:18

Why is he called stokeflatbot though, from what I can see he doesn't live in Stoke?

danbarnes · 28/07/2017 18:33

Another long-time lurker first time poster here. I'm neither a mum nor am I female, but I've been following this thread for months and I'd love to start contributing.

The current row with StokeFlatBot is very amusing, especially as he is basically describing the company he's in to use against his ex mate's company. Saying he hates people praying on the vulnerable and playing with peoples dreams...LOL!

I can't seem to watch SalonBot's lives anymore, they just go nowhere, she just says nothing. I love the "I'm really trying not to cry guys" she spouts. No love, you ARE trying to cry, so the whole thing looks even more life changing and magical, but you're just not that good at faking the tears I'm afraid. I am waiting for the day Valentus folds (surely can't be too far away?) just to see how they cover it. "Even though I was a huge earner in my last company it just wasn't quite right for me, so here I am in a new one which is an absolute NO BRAINER" etc etc.

I must also say I love Elle Beau's Poonique blog, great reading if anyone hasn't checked it out already. I get more and more excited as each chapter comes along, and find myself checking her site every other day to see if a new one has been added.

I'd love to know who Browbot is if anybody can enlighten me? I assume this is the same as ArgosWeddingBot? I've completely forgotten her name and can't find her in my searches :(

Cakietea · 28/07/2017 18:40

Stokeflatbot has deleted his post about his ex mate, shame it was all kicking off nicely!

MrsGotobed · 28/07/2017 19:08

Welcome Dan. Smile

Out of interest what brought you here to mumsnet/this thread as I see you've not posted on this site before?

SSDGM · 28/07/2017 19:50

So Brokeflatbot has deleted that status because, could it be, maybe, possibly, he was talking crap and that particular pyramid he was banging on about isn't quite collapsing yet?

The coffee has definitely disappeared, no more stripped to the waist gym selfies and I for one am grateful for small mercies.

danbarnes · 28/07/2017 20:20

Thanks MrsGotobed. I think I found this thread from when I was just searching the Internet for MLM related chat, as I find the whole thing so compelling and fascinating. I've never been involved with MLM, so no story to share unfortunately. I have, like most here I would imagine, friends/aquaintances that have been/are involved.

The first one I came across (which I know of) was Forever. An old school friend of mine (who I hadn't seen in about 16 years) messaged me to tell me how excited he was about a new business he is in. I was so happy to hear from him and felt very honoured that he'd messaged me of all people. This was in 2014 and prior to the message I had seen all of his Facebook photos of the conferences, about how much money he's making and how he'd quit his job. It all looked so appealing. But something didn't sit right with me, and I never replied to the message. About a year later all mentions of Forever had disappeared, and he was back in his old job (which he probably never left). I'm just very thankful I didn't buy into it as I was struggling financially at the time and probably quite vulnerable being in my early twenties.

A few months ago I had made my other half a packed lunch to take to work, as I was putting it in his bag I noticed... A FOREVER LIVING TEABAG!!! I asked where the bloody hell it had come from. I then found out he works with a FL bot who had been messaging him trying to sign him up to the opportunity. Having never spoken to my partner about my hatred for MLM before, suddenly years of research following this thread, BW & TV came flooding from my mouth. He then stopped messaging the bot, but it didn't stop her trying again a few months later. I asked if I could do the replying but he wouldn't let me!

SSDGM · 28/07/2017 20:26

I wouldn't give you 50p, love.

One of my friends keeps posting on Facebook about how motivated they are. They're now doing a total detox for mind, body and soul. It's something called C9; I'm not sure if it is an MLM but they seem to be following the pattern.

lasagnefortea · 28/07/2017 20:58

C9 is the Forever Living detox guff that costs well over £100 to starve yourself for a week and lose weight by giving yourself the shits with a daily dose of aloe vera

lasagnefortea · 28/07/2017 21:02

I can't believe I missed all the melodrama on BirkenheadBrokeBot's Facebook page. However, I'm seriously impressed by this email he received from his CEO (hang on, what happened to sacking the boss?!)

This font just SCREAMS professionalism!

SSDGM BrokeFlatBot is taking the weekend off from MLMing. I give him 2 hours till he caves in and resumes the recruiting and "We're all going to Santorini" mantra

Cakietea · 29/07/2017 09:22

Im worried now that I've been following BirkenheadBrokeBot thinking he is StokeFlatBot.... are they the same person? I could be missing out here!!

SSDGM · 29/07/2017 11:17

Does the one you are looking at have a name that rhymes with Farty? (Which is what that coffee must make you be)
