Aw bad luck Roly.

If it makes you feel any better, there's a post on the Team Profit fb page from a guy who made a mistake with his acca and lost £850. Ouch! Confused

MissFitton · 01/10/2017 17:33

That's crap Roly - It's annoying when there's a fuck up. For some reason I'm nervous about the outcome of my Bet365 bets. It does seem an awful lot of money to be waiting to settle. I really cba with the wagering so I really hope it wins at the exchange!

NorthCoast · 01/10/2017 17:35

Roly - the early payout calculator is on OddsMonkey, it's for the 2UP offer on Bet365 and Paddy Power.

HeyRoly · 01/10/2017 17:44

Thanks North, I'll have to check that out. I have so much to read up on: that, the new OM profit tool, how to do accas, how to do EW bets...

Losing £850? Sickening! Makes me feel better. At least it's "only" lost from my bet365 bonus.

imnottoofussed · 01/10/2017 18:08

I've just signed up with bet 365. I've placed £110 up to now and will place some more over the next day or two. Fingers crossed for exchange wins.

MissFitton · 01/10/2017 18:56

Yep.....looks like I'm destined for working through the bonus on bet365...That's this week taken care of!

AutomaticSteeple · 01/10/2017 19:24

I tried to avoid waiting on a bank withdrawal from sky bet so layed a bet on in the hope of losing it to the exchange, didn't work I have even more now!

imnottoofussed · 01/10/2017 21:16

Great, first bet with 365 won at bookies Confused

HeyRoly · 02/10/2017 10:17

I have £496 in bet365 right now (admittedly, £200 is the bonus, but still) Hmm

Wanted to place a bet this morning, but the only matches I'm getting are super obscure football teams and horses with odds of 2. No thanks!

AutomaticSteeple · 02/10/2017 10:34

I have £4 in the exchange 😳

I signed up to odds monkey weeks trial but tbh I think I'll cancel it, I wanted to see the offers for existing customers but it all seems beyond me. Did a couple of the bingo sign ups but won nothing. I think I'll make what I can from welcome offers then quit

HeyRoly · 02/10/2017 10:43

I didn't have much luck with bingo either. Won about £40 from Cheeky but nothing from the obscure ones. Haven't signed up for the well known one whose name escapes me.

Don't discount the offers for existing customers, there's a lot of money to be made from reloads from the big guys (Sky, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Coral, Paddy Power)

GardeningWithDynamite · 02/10/2017 14:14

quidco are offering £40 for gala bingo (deposit and wager min £5) and I think there's a sign up offer as well (deposit 10 and get 20 in bingo, 10 in slots?).

I'm doing kitty bingo at the moment. Again there was a quidco offer so I think it's risk free.

HeyRoly · 02/10/2017 16:18

I always forget the cashback sites despite being a member of Quidco and Topcashback. Thanks for the tip!

imnottoofussed · 03/10/2017 12:44

Great news for anyone who recently signed up to the bet365 but didn't get to start using the bonus money yet - they are giving it to you in cash! so no wagering requirements as the bonus is closed. So they've credited my account with £200 - i'd only got through about £110 of my initial deposit with them. I got an email from them today and others on oddsmonkey have said the same thing.

MissFitton · 03/10/2017 13:43

That’s good to hear the Bet365 - I thought I’d been gunned! Will investigate where that leaves me with them later.

HeyRoly · 03/10/2017 13:43

Great, isn't it? Grin When I first read the email I thought I'd been gubbed already!

MissFitton · 03/10/2017 15:08

It’s excellent (and clearly my autocorrect doesn’t like ‘gubbed’ ) Grin
I’ve still got a bet to settle with them but I think I’m about £175 up on it all. Not bad.

MissFitton · 03/10/2017 15:09

Three. Ffs 😂

Frazzled74 · 03/10/2017 15:48

Agh! I've got £90 in 888sport from a £10 deposit and a free bet. But I hadn't realised that I already had an account with them in my other email address from a year ago! They found the account when I tried to withdraw the money. I guess I will probably now lose the £90 if I've already had a free bet on another account.

HeyRoly · 03/10/2017 18:32

Think I've had a result with my Sky bet club free £5 today. Backed at 7.5 and laid at 7.8. The horse won but the odds have been boosted to 11 (I didn't know Sky offered "best odds guaranteed" but maybe they did for this race?). So I've won £50 at the bookies and lost £28.43 at the exchange. So I've managed a really good accidental arb, right?

AutomaticSteeple · 03/10/2017 18:50

I'm having a rubbish day! Won my bet with Stan James and they have locked my account! Now I've had to send off verification documents, I only discovered this after contacting live chat, no email or anything and live chat were rude!

Spent hours looking through odds monkey website and don't understand any of the offers. All the free casino offers I've done have come to zero. I give up!

MissFitton · 03/10/2017 21:05

That does sound like a good accidental arb Roly.

Shame that live chat were rude Steeple - I've usually found them pretty helpful even when it proved to be that I was an idiot who couldn't read a bet slip properly

HeyRoly · 04/10/2017 12:33

William Hill have a £5 bonus on Starburst today. You need to do £100 of wagering. Now I hate Starburst, it's boring and it pays pennies. But today I figured there was no point doing minimum stakes because I'd never get through the wagering. Started with 50p spins and suddenly I was £20 up. Switched to £1 spins and was over £40 up at one point. Finished wagering £18 up!

I think that's the first time I've ever won money on one of those free spin offers.

Also won 25 free spins on the Sky Prize Machine. Walked away with 83p Grin

Neededastealthname · 05/10/2017 08:52

Hi everyone, I'm new to matched betting and was very excited to place my first bets last night when betfair told me I needed to confirm my identity, the only photo ID I have is a provisional driving license so I sent a picture of that, I haven't heard anything yet but they did say it could take up to 24 hours. Has anyone else had this and was a provisional license adequate?

LemonadeWithACherry · 05/10/2017 12:46

Yes I have used a provisional driving licence as I.d., in fact an expired one along with an expired passport and a utility bill as that's all the i.d. I had!
