Been following the MB threads since the start and occasionally posting, pretty sure I've only come across you so far that I've thought was an employee of the site being promoted Confused

Plenty of other sites have been mentioned, people who have used the free trials at more than one place and also other free sites.

I haven't found anyone trying to push oddsmonkey. Just people who have found it best for them.

Choconuts · 18/08/2017 19:26

I've been here since the beginning of these threads as well and confirm that the posters recommending oddsmonkey all discussed which sites were the best before anyone took out a subscription.

Clarkson you do seem to have a vested interest in the site you are promoting and the way you are writing its name on here seems odd - as if you're trying to avoid it being picked up by Mumsnet etc. I've had a look at the site and it seems very new and doesn't have a lot of the information available elsewhere.

Im a member of oddsmonkey and I am more than happy to pay their fee but I can also recommend a good free resource I've found matchedbettingblog - I particularly like the fact that the writer is open and honest listing what profit/loss he made from previous offers Smile

Clarkson35 · 18/08/2017 20:04

Fair enough. Each to their own. I do have an interest in Winning Strategy. I've found it that good and earned so much money from it that I felt I owed the site for providing this information free of charge. It has oddsmatching software, as good if not better than the paid sites, the joining offers are really simple (better than PA in my opinion) but I agree, the forum is pretty empty. I felt if I pushed people over there it would be as good, if not better than other paid sites. Like I said, if people are flush enough to pay, fine, but I love a bargain. And one with quality. Like I said I'm done with the debate.

FlandersRocks · 18/08/2017 23:39

Maybe the number of people who recommend OM is because OM is actually a good site rather than OM having lots of secret employees out there plugging it? Hmm

I'll talk OM up all day long because I think it's great - the community, the quick response times of the staff, the 1:1 sessions with a MB expert- all things that make the subscription more than worth it and things that free sites don't (and couldn't) offer.

Clarkson35 · 19/08/2017 11:07

The lady doth protest too much, methinks..

HeyRoly · 19/08/2017 11:28

Ok Clarkson, I can't believe you're essentially trolling this (up until now) pleasant and supportive thread, so I'm going to ignore you now.

I'm having fun wagering, AGAIN Hmm I joined Bwin and all I had to do was lose £40 into the exchange. But of course it won to the tune of £168 and now I have to place £200 worth of bets before I can withdraw. And they don't do horse racing so I'm restricted to weekends if I want to stick to English football. Unless I throw caution to the wind and bet on more obscure European teams if I want to get the wagering out of the way. Far from ideal, I know...

MrsDesperado · 19/08/2017 15:36

Can someone tell me when the West Indies test match is ever going to end? I stupidly bet on it and all my money is tied up - lesson learned!

MissFitton · 19/08/2017 17:00

Oh Roly you do have a talent for winning at the bookies - perhaps you should try actual gambling! Grin

I'm a paid up member of PA and don't work for them. Hmm

MrsD - cricket is more of a mystery to me than football. As far as I know cricket goes on forever..

imnottoofussed · 19/08/2017 17:13

I'm just waiting for a lock in sequential acca to finish at paddy power and plodding on with their vipp club. Not sure how people make loads of profit with these accas, according to the acca thingy I'm expecting about £3 Confused too scared to do more than one acca at a time incase I don't have enough in the exchange to cover everything

HeyRoly · 19/08/2017 17:51

I'm still too scared to try accas and have failed to understand how you lay an e/w bet. Basic matched better here Grin

I never did take advantage of my free 121 at That Site Which Must Not Be Named. Maybe I'll asked for one now.

Yes MissF, I do have a peculiar talent for winnings bets that I need to lose Grin

MrsDesperado · 19/08/2017 22:23

Haha thanks MissF I've just asked DH and he says not till Monday! There goes my premier league plans!

FlandersRocks · 19/08/2017 23:55

I'm another that should have considered gambling Hmm So far I reckon i've done about 20 offers...and i've won all but two at the Bookies. It's so incredibly frustrating and slows me right down Angry

LemonadeWithACherry · 20/08/2017 13:07

I am stuck in wagering purgatory too Roly! My bets keep winning and I have to wager £360 of bets. I had a little wobble the other day when I convinced myself I would never get out and I'd lost it all (thank you pmtHmm) but I feel a bit better about it now. Mostly because I finally had a good win on a casino offer! I won't go into details yet as I am still waiting for it to hit my bank but I am very happy StarGinGrin

HeyRoly · 20/08/2017 15:32

I was convinced I'd lock every penny to my name into 888 as well Grin

Lucky you with the casino offer! You'll have to tell me more about which ones you've been doing. I'm waiting to be able to withdraw £100 from Monopoly casino from a £20 deposit. That's about as big a win as I've managed!

MrsDesperado · 20/08/2017 19:47

Aaargh I've fucked up. Accidentally backed instead of layed. I wondered why the odds weren't the same as they were showing on OM. This will teach me for becoming complacent. It was a £50 bet too

Rememer to check, check and check again MNBTers .

Very pissed off and annoyed with myself Angry

NorthCoast · 20/08/2017 20:41

MrsDesperado - sympathies, really annoying isn't it?? I did something similar last night, I've got six lock-in accas running and I laid completely the wrong match for one of them Blush Fortunately the matched betting gods were on my side, I won at the exchange and the match I should have laid was still in play and 1-1, so the odds hadn't drifted too badly.

MrsDesperado · 21/08/2017 14:29

Thanks North, yes I'm still very cross with myself! At least yours was on something fairly complicated, mine was only a qualifying bet so no excuse!
Glad yours sorted itself out, I'm trying not to think how much I'm down by Shock

Moanyoldcow · 21/08/2017 16:36

Ok. I'm diving in. I'm really sorry for joining an already established thread where everyone is so knowledgeable but I could really do with earning/making some extra cash as we have a baby on the way.

Can someone recommend where I should go to learn about this and give me an idea of how much cash I should look into investing in the first instance? Many thanks in advance.

ASauvingnonADay · 21/08/2017 17:11

I keep having a silly problem with William hill - a lot of the good football odds matcher bets are eg. Over 3.5 goals, but I can never find this bet option in WH! Not found it a problem on any other sites just this one. Have looked through all the options but can never find them?

LemonadeWithACherry · 22/08/2017 12:48

My casino win is in my bank account today so I can finally talk about it! £650 from 888casino!

I got an email a couple of weeks ago saying deposit £20 play with £40, plus free spins, plus some other bonus that tbh I never fully understood. I didn't have many other offers going on so I gave it a punt, played on The Big Lebowski slot, won about £200 but had to complete 35x wagering so left it on auto play and played a few games of Ultimate Werewolf with the kids. Came back to find I was £700 up! Shock
Managed to come away with £650 but didn't really believe it til I saw it in my bank today.

I'm chuffed to bits! I've a long list of things we need so this will be so useful. I think my first post on this thread I was asking how much I could make matched betting, as I really wanted to take us all on a John Fowler holiday in August. Well I paid for that (go this weekend!) and now we don't need to worry about spending money either! Plus I put a deposit down on a Forest Holidays Christmas break Smile

I love matched betting.

HeyRoly · 22/08/2017 19:56

Amazing! Grin

I withdrew over £500 from 888 but most of it was my money lost from the exchange

Is it the "£20 Freeplay plus £5 jackpot play" offer? Because I've just got that today. I have no idea what Jackpot play is.

IWantACheeseburger · 22/08/2017 21:34

Can I ask what your daily routine is in terms of match betting? I found a guide on Team Profits website about what to do to earn X amount a month.
It suggests doing the weekly clubs in Coral, Skybet and some others but the profit is only £2/3 each. Seems a bit pointless but is that the best way to go about things and it will all add up or do you just do what takes your fancy each day/week?

Trenzalor · 22/08/2017 22:19

Hi all. New here. I'm still catching up on the previous threads. Well, I've made my first mistake and it has cost me £25 but I should get a free £30 bet to attempt to reclaim some back. I know the mistake I made and I won't repeat it. Just annoyed with myself. Sigh.

ASauvingnonADay · 22/08/2017 22:28

I feel too scared to look at the casino stuff!! Is it complicated?

Trenzalor · 24/08/2017 08:49

Okay. Am slowly equalising the loss with the free bet from Betfred.
