Yay for Sky Bonus Builder day. Boo to being gubbed by SkyBet Grin. I will get a proportion of the free bets though so not lost out totally.

Have also remembered to opt into Coral....

candypanda283 · 01/08/2017 18:12

Ive been searching all the threads...after we've gone all the sign up offers, how do we carry on making a profit? Thanks!

titchy · 01/08/2017 18:15

Check the promotions page of each bookie website, watch out for emails/notifications on special events - I've had quite a few on Goodwood (e.g. betsafe are doing a free £10 bet if you place £10 on the first goodwood race of each day); betclubs - e.g. Paddy power place 5 bets of at least £10 each week and get a free £10 bet; loads of 2nd place refund offers etc!

I got my dad onto the risk free method of playing Gamesys sites. Well the jammy sod only managed to withdraw £350 from Virgin Games. I am never that lucky Grin

Ooh tell me more...

There's a strategy on the Oddsmonkey forums that I can't seem to find. I'll try again tomorrow.

HeyRoly · 01/08/2017 23:03

Found it! You can apply the same strategy to Starspins, Jackpot Joy, Virgin Games and Heart Bingo, but it's worth spacing them out so you don't get gubbed.

JackpotJoy
HeartBingo
StarSpins
VirginGames
Monopoly Casino all work with the Gamseys loophole.

Remember to play the free daily games too, I've had an extra £20 from each account from those.. Go through cashback sites makes some of them risk free.

JenTheSprtacusPuppy · 02/08/2017 01:24

Dh has joined the Mfortune, Pocket Win and Mr Spins and got £20+ from the free river on each one!

They've been good earners for me over the last month but he's doing better..
Can refer people if they want a risk free try.. Just PM me.

titchy · 03/08/2017 08:43

Can't seem to pm but yes please to a code!

So the strategy is just to play the free games then and forget about the bonus? I thought there was some huge bug in their system guaranteeing £££&!

HeyRoly · 03/08/2017 19:33

No, that's not the strategy. The case study I posted explains everything Smile

onepidgeyless · 04/08/2017 13:22

Is there a strategy for those, Jen? I'd like a referral for them :)

Just made a stupid mistake Blush put on three qualifiers at paddy power, went to save my spreadsheet and it crashed.

Checked everything again and thought I had only layed £1.58 instead of £10.58 on one of my bets, panicked, odds had changed a lot but worked out how much to lay again, thinking I'll just write off the initial lay, layed it. Then noticed my original lay was split into two parts so I had actually layed properly to start with. So I've layed once at one set of odds and layed again at much lower odds.

Lord knows what I'm going to win or lose. I'm hoping the bookie bet loses or I'll be making a loss at the exchange. Thankfully I'm only talking about lowish odds bets!

Will definitely not be betting again when dd is playing tennis in the kitchen with the dog!

ASauvingnonADay · 08/08/2017 14:58

I gave up previously after I didn't get my free bet from coral! Now starting again, but have used my free bets from coral and betfred (as per profit accumulator guidance) so have gone it alone with William hill. Got scared so race isn't until later so now twiddling my thumbs. All very confusing!

uokhunni · 08/08/2017 15:40

Thanks to Jen I've won over £50 on one of those codes!

I'll play the rest later - they're so boring though !

ASauvingnonADay · 08/08/2017 19:56

Are other people keeping a spreadsheet? If so, with what on? There is an example one on profit accumulator but it's quite confusing!

LemonadeWithACherry · 09/08/2017 12:13

I don't keep a spreadsheet any more, it was the worst thing about mb'ing and caused me untold stress. Now I write all my bets down in a notebook, I write down the profit or loss of each one from the oddsmatcher figures using red and green pens. Then every so often I go through and tot it up.

ASauvingnonADay · 09/08/2017 13:28

That makes sense and sounds easier!

I seem to have lost money through my -adventures' yesterday. Deposited about £80 across various sites but my overall balances equal about £70. Is this normal or does it sound like I'm getting it wrong?

LemonadeWithACherry · 09/08/2017 14:23

That depends ASauvignon, has it all gone on qualifying bets which will eventually bring you free bets? If so a £10 loss on £80 of qualifying bets is not too bad.

ASauvingnonADay · 09/08/2017 15:01

Some qualifying but also using the free bets. I wonder if I'm not utilising the free bets properly 😳

LemonadeWithACherry · 09/08/2017 15:15

Tell us what you did with the free bets and we may be able to help you. What odds did you place them on?

FreckledLeopard · 09/08/2017 15:51

OK, so I've upped my matched betting these last few weeks, worked my way through a lot of the free bet offers, moving onto the free bet if your first bet loses offers, and also looking at ACCAs and each way bets (I like experimenting)!

I've signed up to OddsMonkey but feel somewhat intimidated by the number of people in the community and feel like my questions may be stupid so hope I can ask them here first!

So:

E/W betting - haven't really got my head around this yet and haven't placed any E/W bets. BUT, looking at the E/W matcher on OddsMonkey, there are lots of potentially good deals, but just clicking through them, the odds are changing so rapidly I wonder how on earth anyone can lay off each of the winning and place bets without the numbers fluctuating? It's hard enough to lay a normal horse bet as the markets move so much in the build up the race, let alone laying two bets. Is there a better time to do it (i.e. early, late?)

ACCAs - I've done my first lay sequential lock in ACCA (only expect a small profit but wanted to try it out, though at present I don't actually understand how I profit, but figured that I will figure it out once the ACCA has come to an end and I can see where all the money has gone for each match and then ascertain how a profit has been made). Anyhow, with ACCAs, if I wanted to place an ACCA with a different bookmaker, but some of the matches were the same (and that match had already been laid at Betfair), would I need to somehow re-lay that match, or not? Or would I have to avoid duplication of a match across ACCAs (i.e. would each ACCA have to have different matches in it?).

I am really enjoying all of this. Have only been doing it here and there but am up £600 in two months!

NorthCoast · 09/08/2017 20:58

I'd leave the E/W matcher alone for now - best used with gubbed accounts :) If I'm using it I have the matcher, the bookie and the exchange in three different windows so I can use Alt-tab on the keyboard to flick between them very quickly.

It's fine to have the same match across different bookmakers - you can put as many lays as you like on the same result at Betfair.

ASauvingnonADay · 09/08/2017 21:30

Lemonade - bet on odds 2 - 7 usually.
