That's interesting Lemonade - I couldn't multi-account, it just seems too dodgy for me!

I too have lost my mojo and, yes, I suspect casino offers are a waste of time!

Head over to Oddsmonkey Banana. They have a few free guides and the rest is subscription only (but it's totally worth subscribing).

strawberrygate · 27/07/2017 13:26

lemonade i don't do casino offers but some people swear by them. personally I just seem to spend 8 years completeing the wagering and emerge with nothing!

Only do arbs on gubbed accounts.

JenTheSprtacusPuppy · 27/07/2017 18:11

@lemonade, was just coming to post that link. Some matched betting sites allow discussions of multi accounting and may advise users to play under a spouse or other adults in the families name to take advantage of bonuses and free bets multiple times, is shady as fuck though.

I'm on Odds Monkey and they delete posts advising people to use multiple accounts or pretending to be a family member and using a second account that way.

I used to be amazed at some of the high monthly profits and feel like I was doing something wrong as I'd never hit a quarter of some figures, but then I now know they are doing offers at least twice. I'd be reading someone say they'd made £200 from an offer that many others have only made £50. They often don't mention that £200 is made up from four accounts doing the same offer, it's misleading to add profits from four people's identity and give it as a sum of profits for one person and gives new people false expectations to how profitable matched betting is.

I know some people have created second accounts in their husbands name and play for them, but that's also against most, if not all bookmakers terms and conditions, even if the name you're pretending to be consent to you pretending to be them, and isn't something I'd recommend doing if you value your accounts, and if it counts as fraud it's not worth it. Some bookies are ok with a husband having an account, but on the understanding that the account is for the husband to play on and not someone else with an existing account.. They are ok with a spouse wanting to join and play but not someone opening with intention of having an existing account holder who is already doing the offers play on their behalf. If it's difficult to prove can see why some do it though.

It's so tempting to double my profits by signing up again with my husbands name and bank etc but don't want to risk my accounts or possibly get in trouble with law. If Im pretending to be my husband to play then I guess it's the same as pretending to me by Mum, or my sister, who have also said I can use their identies and share profits.

Apologies if I sound like a kill joy arse, just wanted to mention for new people to MB that pretend to be someone else and creating second accounts, even with that persons consent, is dodgy and could have you lose your accounts at best, in trouble with law at worst.

JenTheSprtacusPuppy · 27/07/2017 18:29

I do casino offers and also bingo, but im fussy about which offers because some have such a high wagering amount that it makes the offer a -ev and I'll read forums and see how other users who've already done the offer get one. Some offers require you to spend x on and specific slot with a low rtp so I stay away from those.

Since football finished most of my profits have been from casino, only free bets I've had are the five pound a week from sky bet club and the 10 a week free bet from paddy. I dont go for free bet offers on things I don't regularly bet on in case it looks dodgy, so this week I've not the risk free daily bet on darts with Ladbrokes.

Casino and bingo used to scare me when I started MB in april, but I'm pleased I started doing them as they've been very profitable. I set myself a rule where if I'd met my target of £50 profits a week, I'd have a go at casino offers with profits over that, but now I'll pretty much have a go at most +ev offers.

You won't make profit on every offer, and could go through a phase of losing your stake often, but the +ev comes from doing the offers over time. This month my profits are at £500 so far and majority if that is from casino offers, followed by bingo, then free bets. Some casino offers have seen me lose £20 but then the next one gives me £80. I've always been in profit at the end of the month.

If anyone's interested I'll go through spread sheet and list my total casino losses for this month and my total casino profits for this month?

JenTheSprtacusPuppy · 27/07/2017 18:49

Just did a quick add up.

I've got casino losses of £161 for casino offers in July. Which sounds a lot but I've got casino winnings of £500 for the same time frame. Giving me £340 profits from casinos this month so far (I've got cash drops etc coming before end of month so it'll be higher)

You need to keep emotion out of it too. Sometimes the losses can all come over a week and it can feel like a waste of time, and you could end up chasing losses and spend money outside of the required wagering amount, sometimes all the wins come at once and you can feel like you're on a roll and again, keep spending money outside of the required wagering. Which is fine if you know what you're doing, but it's wouldn't be part of casino wagering or the +ev of the offer.

HeyRoly · 27/07/2017 21:12

My first gubbing! Damn you Paddy Power.

MissFitton · 27/07/2017 21:44

Oh no Roly! Feeling affronted? Grin

HeyRoly · 27/07/2017 22:05

Totally! Also slightly worried about what you do when the easy, regular money you can bet from the main high street bookie chains dries up Confused

MissFitton · 27/07/2017 22:10

I felt like that with Skybet. People seem to get by though. At least you can arb to your hearts content on PP now

MsAwesomeDragon · 27/07/2017 23:06

I'm still working my way through the welcome offers. I've made nearly £700 profit in a month, and that's a month where I really don't know what I'm doing. I'm not quite sure what to do after all the welcome offers are finished, but I'll do some of the bet clubs.

I've done quite a few casino offers, only the ones with +ev. Some of them have lost, but I've had enough biggish wins to give a decent profit overall. I had a win of £120 today on Ladbrokes.

JenTheSprtacusPuppy · 28/07/2017 00:14

Don't the two ups on paddy also work on gubbed accounts? I'm think I read that before but can't be certain.

You can also take advantage of some of the offers by placing bets in store, you don't to say who you are to place a bet in store. I have a coral and Ladbrokes near me but after being perved and patronised by some of men in there every time I do my grand national bets I dont think any amount of free bets could make me want to go in regularly. I've missed out on loads of coral connect freebies as I really don't like the comments from the odd bloke in there.

LemonadeWithACherry · 28/07/2017 12:41

I am put off doing the in-store offers too. Even with the new clear windows, bookies do not seem welcoming places for women.

MsAwesomeDragon · 28/07/2017 17:11

I wouldn't go into bookies either, as you say they aren't exactly welcoming towards women. Also, I don't really want to be seen going betting by pupils, as I don't want to condone gambling.

MissFitton · 28/07/2017 18:43

This would be me in a betting shop....

Grin
HeyRoly · 28/07/2017 19:06

I don't remember that scene Grin

But yeah, I don't see myself setting foot in a bookies anytime soon...

NorthCoast · 28/07/2017 19:50

£170 withdrawn from 888's £20 first deposit offer - nice start to the weekend Grin

HeyRoly · 29/07/2017 15:09

I've received two further gubbing emails from PP, both worded slightly differently. Alright, I get the message! I'm going to arb the shit out of them now Grin

imnottoofussed · 31/07/2017 15:22

i've been doing paddypower vipp and got my free bet today, i've also been given another ree bet and on the statement it says "SB Tennis Retirement" - does anyone know why they've given me this? I'm not complaining obviously haha

titchy · 31/07/2017 15:30

Sports book tennis retirement.

One of your bets was obviously on a tennis player who quite part way through the game so PP refunded your bet. Check what happened at the exchange on the lay part of that bet.

Normally with tennis as long as the first set has been played then bets are on, but not always, so you do need to be careful what individual bookie rules are before you place a tennis bet. You can end up having your lay bet cancelled but not your back bet which then loses so you've lost both ways.

imnottoofussed · 31/07/2017 15:42

Nice one, the differing retirement rules are what's made me stay from tennis. I know it would go the other way and I'd lose a load of money lo.

HeyRoly · 31/07/2017 15:59

It's Sky bonus builder day. Thank goodness they haven't gubbed me yet (must be hanging by the skin of my teeth) because I have £35 in free bets added today Grin
