As the last thread is almost full, here is a nice fresh clean one.

In a nutshell, matched betting is a clever way of making ££££ from the bookies without ever having to gamble.

This is profit accumulator

This is odds monkey

Have read. TAKE YOUR TIME!

And enjoy the money Grin

Ive had a £10 free slots offer with a £10 deposit in coral. Should i go for it or just wait till I'm fully confident on the sports bets first? I have no idea what to do with the slots.

SandyDays · 29/04/2017 16:12

Neon - I deposited £10 at coral (second deposit) and nothing happened! If you get anywhere with it please let me know

TessTube · 29/04/2017 16:33

Titchy

The BB one is bet 100 and get 50 back id loses.

You profit as you don't have to lay against your whole 100 bet.

Kind of like

Bet 100 Lay 75

If you win at the bookies. You are instantly in profit as you didn't lay the whole amount.

If you lose you are 25 down, but you also get a free 50 bet to use. You do that as a normal free bet so either way you are up.

titchy · 29/04/2017 17:09

Oh of course - I'm in the mindset of laying against the full amount - which obviously I don't have to do Blush

Thanks Tess!

CalmItKermitt · 29/04/2017 17:53

Oh I think I've fucked up.

I've used 2x£10 free bet vouchers to back a result on the Man U v Swansea match tomorrow.

I've laid it at Betfair but I've got a feeling I've not put a big enough lay stake 😟

Am I being dense - I am assuming I can use the calculator tool on PA regardless of which bookies/offers I'm using?

Am only using the basic PA as can't really afford (right now) to pay anything to do this (and also put any spare cash into betfair!). Also, do you all think that I'll manage to find free bets without signing up to PA or OM?

Hamiltoes · 29/04/2017 18:00

Calm looks like you had the calc at £10 instead of £20, I think you've only layed 1 £10 bet

CalmItKermitt · 29/04/2017 18:02

Yes that's what I mean.
What do I do?

Cash out and see if I can find a match at £20?

Hamiltoes · 29/04/2017 18:06

No just lay your other £10 bet in the same way. Re-do the calc for a £10 bet with the back odds you placed and the lay odds now (if they've changed?)

Hamiltoes · 29/04/2017 18:09

Just checked the odds are better now at 7.2 but only £8 avail to lay, as it's a free bet I'd stick it on anyway and see if it gets matched before the game, plenty of time and you don't have anything to lose.

CalmItKermitt · 29/04/2017 18:15

Done it! Thanks! At least I shouldn't lose much?

CalmItKermitt · 29/04/2017 18:17

Ok so now it looks like this

CalmItKermitt · 29/04/2017 18:18

Better?

HeyRoly · 29/04/2017 18:53

Decided to do a bold thing tonight and find a matched bet myself, without the Oddsmonkey oddsmatcher. Because I have a £50 free bet I want to look like a normal punter, so didn't want to bet on anything obscure. Decided to bet on the boxing, found a close enough match (7 / 7.8), double checked that it really was the same market on Ladbrokes/Betfair and placed my back bet. Then went to Betfair and realised that I didn't have quite enough for the liability Shock So I had to add a bit more in a total panic, worrying that the odds would change in the meantime.

All sorted now, but I was so worried that I'd fucked it massively! All because I was trying to be a bit too clever...

Spookle · 29/04/2017 19:43

I've had a quiet week as I had to wait for payday yesterday to top up the exchange.

I've done the Ladbrokes £50 for £50 this morning, won at the bookies again [sigh], and my FB hasn't appeared even though it is supposed to come through when you place the qualifier. Arrgghhhh!

CalmItKermitt · 29/04/2017 20:00

How do you find matches without the oddsmatcher?

imnottoofussed · 29/04/2017 20:01

ok so I learnt something new just now whilst reading the oddsmonkey commuity posts - you can set the oddsmatcher to show a column called SNR (click settings and tick SNR) - then when you are doing a free SNR bet you can sort the results by SNR and it gives you better results - wish I had known this before as I was relying on going for the Rating % and this didn't always return as high profits. I've just checked it looking for a £10 SNR, when sorting by rating it comes up with a football match that will return £5.77 profit, when sorted by SNR it gives a different football match offering £7.75 profit.

Spookle · 29/04/2017 20:02

You have to do it yourself Kermitt. Have your match open on the bookie page and then find it in the exchange and compare the odds yourself. I had to do it for Ladbrokes this morning because there was a problem with the Oddsmatcher not showing anything for them.

NeegansWife · 29/04/2017 20:17

I've just read the T&C's on the Bet Victor website with their Bet £10 get £40 Welcome Offer as I wanted to know when my remaining free bets expired.. You get 1 x £10 free bet, 1 x £10 in-play bet, 1x £10 free accas and 1 x £10 casino bonus. BUT to release your winnings you have to wager £400 Shock Thank goodness my qualifying and free bets both lost so my money stayed in Betfair. I think I'll leave the other two free bets as I can't comit that much time to one site.

Phoeberdoos · 29/04/2017 20:59

Have I fucked up? I accidentally put two bets on the same match on betfair. One for Arsenal and one for the draw. Will this flag me up to them?

HeyRoly · 29/04/2017 21:09

I don't think Betfair care that much.

As an exchange, they profit from every transaction (5%) unlike bookies who lose money when punters win.

Phoeberdoos · 29/04/2017 21:17

Hope you're right, was panicking there. lol. Thanks!

SierraJensen · 29/04/2017 21:40

Finally got started today, not sure I'd have had the confidence to give it a go if it hadnt been for this thread, so thanks all!

Just got a quick question about the skybet offer mentioned and linked to on team profit. If I click on the link from teamprofit, it takes me to the offer on skybet - bet £5, get £20 in free bets. However, when I went to skybet myself, ie not through the teamprofit link, this offer didn't appear to be available under their list of promotions. I don't want to bet my fiver and then find out the promotion actually ended and I've missed out on their alternative (which seems to be a free ten pound bet for a new customer - less profitable). Anyone done the original offer recently and got the free bets?

louisejxxx · 29/04/2017 21:50

I've been trying to read up on accumulators but the Acca matcher that's on oddsmonkey looks different to their videos explaining what to do! It's not letting me see lots of different options of what accumulators to put on like on the video 🤔

NeegansWife · 29/04/2017 22:49

Sierra I did it on 19th April and got the £20 free bets.
