They must do that on purpose, just to try and make it look like there is interest.

How pathetic.

It's the best networking time of the year
With lies to be telling
And all of us selling you things that are dear
It's the best networking time of the year

It's greed-greediest season of all
When we use testimonials and stringent denials
To convert our peers
It's the greed-greediest season of all

There'll be parties for hosting
Fake earnings for boasting
And many white cars to to be earned
There'll be fake failure stories
And tales that just bore us from
Haters and those we have spurned

It's the best networking time of the year
There'll be much whistleblowing
From those who are going
To give up careers
It's the best networking time of the year

There'll be parties for hosting

Fake earnings for boasting
And many white cars to to be earned
There'll be fake failure stories
And tales that just bore us from
Haters and those we have spurned

It's the best networking time of the year
We'll do lots of recruiting
For our income boosting
But just don't you fear

It's the best networking time
Yes the best networking time
Oh the best networking time
Of the year

Another masterpiece acat!

Clickclickclick · 30/11/2016 16:10

Haven't been on these threads for a while, but thought I'd share a recent MLM experience.

A woman who worked with dh in a town far away, long before I met him sent me a message on Facebook the other day. A close friend had recently died and she offered her condolences. (She didn't know this friend, had never met him).

I said thanks, and didn't think more about it. Then she invited me to an online aloe shite party to "take my mind off it".

Classy or what.

Spongebobette · 30/11/2016 16:11

I've just watched a vid by an MLM hopping bot (she must be on her 3rd or 4th, currently in Valentus) who is a bit of a poster girl.

In the vid she spouts a complete load of nonsense about

1.'the compound effect' (eh?)
2.how you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with so surround yourself with successful ppl

  1. No one complains about working 40 years but they complain if it takes 4 years to become successful in network marketing (then contradicts herself by saying it has taken her 7 weeks)
  2. Build your business every day by posting on FB, doing 'lives' on FB, liking other ppl's posts and adding friends to build your network

Product never mentioned

The fact that she has a tanning salon is never mentioned

Spongebobette · 30/11/2016 16:12

Oh click that's the pits

acatcalledjohn · 30/11/2016 16:43

Click, that's awful, though sadly not surprising. Aloe is not just a miracle cure for the skin and intestines, it also cures grief.

Hmm
darceybussell · 30/11/2016 21:47

Click - what a shitter! I hope you have her a mouthful of suitably bad language!

Well it's the moment you've all been waiting for, my Arbonne bot has done it, it's only been about 5 years but she has won the opportunity to get an extra payment every month (provided she meets all of the targets) to go towards (but not completely cover the cost of) the lease payments on a white Mercedes!

She's very excited, as you can imagine. She says this is amazing as she only works 5-10 hours per week (this is reduced from the post she did a week ago that said she did 10-15 hours a week), and yet all of her minions are commenting that she has 'worked soo hard hun, you really deserve it'. Hang on, can you make a decision please, are we meant to believe that 5 hours a week is 'working hard' or has she actually worked hard and she's just a lying cow?

Spongebobette · 30/11/2016 22:05

What happens if she doesn't meet her target one month?
Does she just pay for the car out of her own pocket?
Or does she buy more shit herself just so she can make her target and keep qualifying?

VERY cunning of Arbonne!!!

acatcalledjohn · 30/11/2016 23:14

I thought you had to pay the lease for that month if you didn't it the targets, which is why so many bots only have a car for a few months...

BSintolerant · 30/11/2016 23:16

sponge these mlms are good at creating cunning stunts. Wink

acat You've excelled yourself yet again. Grin I can just imagine a tone deaf bot getting up on stage and singing that at the success day. There won't be a dry seat in the house.

fitgirl26 · 01/12/2016 10:52

I've been following a few diehard LTW Bots. The pattern seems to be:
1 LTW is fab - look at these amazing Ayurvedic products which even cure diabetes!
2 Silence
3 A couple of motivational quotes about starting afresh
4 EEEEK look huns I've found a new business selling weight loss coffee/dodgy currency deals and it's way way way betterer than anything I've ever done before.

And rinse and repeat.

TFPsa · 01/12/2016 16:12

@keeptheaspidistra - I accidentally blundered into one of those live videos, I don't know how it happened... I think a friend had been tagged in it or something so it appeared on my FB news feed, a careless slip of the thumb and I was in. Within a millisecond I was [I think] greeted with a 'hi, TFPsa' by one of the bots, though I didn't take me much longer than that for me to lurch into a panicky phone switchoff.

FromIbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 01/12/2016 17:21

Grin TFPsa

I live in fear of accidentally hitting the "Add Friend" button when getting my daily fix of bots. I'm addicted to checking their pages which are both hilarious and shocking.

CantstandmLMs · 02/12/2016 13:34

I've heard it all now... My Younique bot is also in two other MLM's...a hair product one and also Divina tea? Apparently the tea line has new products coming up and I can't believe the claims...one is called "cheat" you pop it before you indulge in stuff such as cakes and it stops your body absorbing any of the fat??
There's also another daily one with the claim "we're all gonna get slim by popping pills"
And then "Venus" and "Mars" basically pills to make you "more lively" if you catch my drift.

All excitedly explained in a FB live video.

Spongebobette · 02/12/2016 14:56

Are the pills amphetamine based?

Spongebobette · 02/12/2016 14:56

😳

acatcalledjohn · 02/12/2016 15:00

one is called "cheat" you pop it before you indulge in stuff such as cakes and it stops your body absorbing any of the fat??

Do people still believe this bollocks given the obesity levels in the U.K.?

TFPsa · 02/12/2016 16:28

@FromIbizaToTheNorfolkBroads - yeah, OK, I accidentally blundered into a live video whilst getting my daily fix of a bot's page. in my defence I only ever look at the higher ups' pages, the ones of the bottom feeders are just depressing. Even so, the speed with which I got pounced on was astonishing - like racer snakes spotting a newly hatched iguana.

Unrelated, today I saw a post about some ridiculous pyramid-sold 'Kangen' water filter type machine - retails in at, I kid you not, something like £2k or even higher???

CantstandmLMs · 02/12/2016 16:59

acatcalledjohn I'm overweight myself so not a dig on her for that but the bot is very ow herself and clearly believes she's going to get skinny on all these pills and the tea. Just worrying really Confused

Spongebobette · 02/12/2016 17:18

Wow FL are so generous!

According to my bot's latest facebook post it seems that if you achieve a minimum of five total active case credits in December, you will earn an invitation to FL HQ in Warwickshire for a full day training session with members of the Global Leadership Team!

So basically if you work even harder selling and recruiting (making FL more money) your prize is to be brainwashed into selling and recruiting even more, working even harder and make FL even more money Confused Hmm

Spongebobette · 02/12/2016 19:41

It's an attractive offer

Spongebobette · 02/12/2016 19:54

My goodness those top bots are endlessly recruiting aren't they. One that I stalk is constantly out and about meeting women to 'plan their awesome new business '

It's relentless and she posts constant photographs of every encounter. It's so repetetive and tiresome and I want to reach into the photo and tell the poor hopeful souls who she's bewitching to GET OUT
