How much do you pay? I'm looking into 2 days and I can't believe how expensive it is.

OP posts:

£39 per day for nursery. Nappies, meals, milk and sun cream included. I'm in the north west.

£52 a day Hmm

OttersPocket · 26/07/2016 21:41

£52 a day. Lunch only meal included, provide own nappies. 4 days a week 😭 Edinburgh.

MeInHoney86 · 26/07/2016 21:42

4.40 an hour plus £1.50 for meals but not inc nappies and wipes. Cheapest round here is £39 a day (up to 11h including everything) but it wasn't a patch on this nursery. I only have 1day a week so ignored the extra few quid for one I was happy with. Full time prices are a killer.

SellFridges · 26/07/2016 21:45

£230 ish a week. Day rate would be £55 I think.

We provide nappies, wipes etc but all food is included. Fairly typical for here.

Insertwitticismhere · 26/07/2016 21:48

£68 a day incl food, nappies, sun cream etc. I try not to think about it else I'd cry!

TeaBelle · 26/07/2016 21:49

£55 a day for 2 year olds - breakfast, snack and light tea included. We supply nappies and wipes and either a packed lunch or pay for a hot meal. Don't forget that you can use childcare vouchers which can reduce how much tax you pay

Gerberama1 · 26/07/2016 21:52

£43 per day for 18 month old, includes snacks but lunch is extra. £36 per day for 4 year old, snacks and lunch included. 5 days per week Sad

FruitCider · 26/07/2016 21:53

thatsn0tmyname · 26/07/2016 21:56

NickMarlow · 26/07/2016 22:01

£40 a day (9-5, any more than that would cost extra) that includes everything except nappies. North west.

ohidoliketobe · 26/07/2016 22:02

North West. £39 a day (8am - 6pm) for baby room. Includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and a little afternoon tea. Provide own wipes, nappies and formula if still using.

Ellypoo · 26/07/2016 22:04

Nursery - £40/day, uncle breakfast, snacks, lunch & dinner, 8am - 6pm. Derbyshire. Childminder is £45/day but 8.30-5.30, DD has been going there since 8months. DD3 will be doing 2 days st each - they both meet different needs for her.

blamethecat · 26/07/2016 22:07

£48.50 per day 8.00-18.00 includes 3 meals & 2 snacks. We provide Nappies/wipes/Suncream. Midlands. (Worth every penny though)

throwingpebbles · 26/07/2016 22:11

£40 a day; south east England.
Includes lovely healthy meals and snacks, all nappies and suncream etc and really amazing garden and facilities and far more staff than "minimum" requirements.

chikdcare vouchers ease the pain a little, and in 6 months DD will get her free hours and then it will feel a lot more bearable

megletthesecond · 26/07/2016 22:12

What sort of childcare? Nursery was a few years ago but £40 day each. Now the dc's are at school their holiday club averages out to £20 each a day.
