The company don't do anything about it because regardless of what their contracts say, the whole POINT is to get you all to buy as much stuff as possible! You are the CUSTOMER! They don't care as long as you are all buying loads of make up!

Ok. No-one likes me (it's ok, I support Millwall) but the last link I posted lead me down a rabbit hole.

According to the "legal" stuff on her site I can't post her name/the site/a link/but from what I've traced so far she's now based in Dubai, via London and elsewhere in the UK. And she does a nice duck face.

I understand that the focus here is to stop all of this stuff in the UK but it is far, far wider.

This has been a wonderful series of threads and has already had an impact, as we can see.

I came here after googling MLMs and you were already several threads in. It was really helpful to me as someone I knew had become a full blown FL bot.

Incidentally she has just disappeared from FB, both her personal and her 'global business coach' pages have gone and I have no way of contacting her now, so am hoping she is OK 😞

She might need some private time to re-assess things.

I wanted her to see the light but she was SO defensive a few months back when I very gently questioned FL and came back with long posts full of bot bingo phrases. I don't know what's happened but I have my fingers crossed that she got out before being too badly burnt

If you have no way of contacting her, there's nothing you can do. You just have to be open to her coming back and hope that she hasn't been damaged and/or entered another MLM as substitute.

Adherents sometimes do swap MLMs - they become used to being in an 'in group', to the approbation and love-buzz.

If she was a good friend, you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed and stay open to good faith re-contact.

My younique bot has just left for actilabs. She was exhausted what with all the backstabbing, bitching and cheating. She'll be fine in another MLM then!

It's a sort of 'lurching', I fear. You think that one MLM is mean and then the next one woos you with flowers and such type promises. So you lurch into that instead.

You've seen humblebots 1&2 do it, you've seen a castle, you've seen the cheques and you can see how it's done - this time if you sell your soul, work 19 hours a day, your face fits and you have unbelievably good luck it will be you!
