Of course they don't understand how they're paid! What Confused said about someone suddenly being made manager screwing everything up makes perfect sense! It means no one can ever rest on their laurels - it won't be long before your downline buggers off. Hence the thing about "non-manager case credits" which I didn't get before....

Seenthelight21 · 25/04/2016 20:40

Sorry I saw you asked me a few questions earlier and as yet haven't had time to respond.

We weren't asked to attend mindset training as such just normal training ALL THE TIME!!!!
I don't mind the mindset stuff as quite enjoy personal development but I have realised that I have been brainwashed to believe If I'm not succesful it's because I'm not good enough or working hard enough. Or I'm not using the law of attraction etc etc etc

I also worked with one upline who still is in the business who was actually one of the worst people I ever met. She was a disgusting bully who used to message all of the managers demanding to know what the cc's were and see out monthly plans ... it wasn't to help us it was all about her!!!!!
She isn't liked in Forever at all due to her bullying nature and loads of people in our teams left because of her. Her behaviour was shocking.

I only realised after I left that the people I thought wee friends now hardly speak to me or take an interest in my life family outside forever. It was as if because I'm no longer involved I don't matter ... these are people I considered friends

We're told what to post on social media too such as one lifestyle post one positive quote and one business post such as working in the back garden or in a pub etc

Then people can win a prize for the best posts etc 🤔🤔

Seenthelight21 · 25/04/2016 20:45

The person your referring to got $ 490 000

throwingpebbles · 25/04/2016 20:46

No names kanga no names! U might want to report that before mumsnet come along and slap your wrist Wink

stopfaffing · 25/04/2016 20:48

Kanga I've reported your post, you mentioned a name Smile and we can't do that on this thread. If you can repost without reference to the name that'd be great.

Patzy85 · 25/04/2016 20:58

Thanks you seenthelight.

What is it like behind the scenes? Do people talk to each other about the negatives, such as when they're struggle or dealing with rejection?

cozietoesie · 25/04/2016 21:01

I think the MLMs are demonstrating some flawed understanding of people.

The notion of 'aspiration' doesn't, I feel, work as they imagine it will within their organisation. People are most comfortable with what they perceive to be a reasonable degree of equity. ('It's OK for her to be paid £X because she works her socks off whereas I'm paid less but can spend more time with my family.......') And so on.

Setting up systems where people are perceived to be doing no more than you might be but are 'paid' significantly more will inevitably start to grate after exposure to them for a while. If the people might turn out to be personally unpleasant, that ought to hasten the process.

A bad error.

Delurker2016 · 25/04/2016 21:02

Seen I can 100% agree with you.
We were put into groups where we have to post our daily personal and total CCs every single day.
She would then post hers as a 'look at what you should be doing, I'm so great' It was one of the most demoralising things I've ever done. I wasn't the only one who felt like that, everyone spoke about. I believe the only people who truly like her are her family, and even those relationships are questionable at times, she isn't the nicest of siblings.
It is hilarious to watch those who have nothing nice to say about her gush over her in public, just like mean girls I suppose it's better to be in with the in crowd than not.
Before I'm called a hater, I was in the in crowd, but I can't deal with all the hypocrisy and began to detach myself.

Twunk · 25/04/2016 21:03

Yes Cozie I think you're right - it's just not cricket is it?

Works more in America I think

Tokelau · 25/04/2016 21:08

I can't find the video with the three cheques. Could someone pm me a link please?

Relay20 · 25/04/2016 21:10

To our delurking bots/ex bots? How do you all feel when you see the Top Bots posting re their buying luxury goods etc? Does it really start to grate on you because you guys are the #legs doing the ground work and seeing little reward?

cozietoesie · 25/04/2016 21:13

Possibly, Twunk.

I'm imagining a situation where you might be working all the hours (and getting up at 5 am), possibly not making ends meet and have alienated half of your friends and family - and are faced with someone who's mean to you, gets a big fat cheque and you have to praise them for it?

OK - that may be an extreme but I don't think it works too well in reality.

bearbehind · 25/04/2016 21:18

A bot of the large cheque variety is now recruiting on the back of said cheque claiming 1 in 6 will become manager and earn £2k and you only need 10 hours a week spare- I thought they weren't allowed to make such claims.

Twunk · 25/04/2016 21:19

Call me a bitter old hater Wink but I'd be less than delighted Cozie

Delurker2016 · 25/04/2016 21:20

It actually doesn't grate on me at all.
I found the whole thing quite funny.
When you know what goes on in the background and what is currently happening you just think enjoy it.
They won't ever retire, they will have to constantly churn over more and more people. Like I said before, we've never seen anyone actually retire. One bot said last year in October she would be stepping back, never happened, then January this year child is back with the minder and she's up and down the country working how she did when she started. It's great having all that money but if you can't relax and enjoy it?

Delurker2016 · 25/04/2016 21:23

10 hours a week! Give me an actual break. 10 hours sleep a week more like!
There's trainings, webinars, plannings, creating presentations, attending business presentations, hosting online presentations, success days, academies, managers academies, launches, online parties, your team page, your teams messages, sideline messages, Facebook posting, insta posting, get togethers, sizzles, pupp boxes, handing out cards, contact marketing, delivering dear neighbour letters, joining groups to 'meet new people'.
All that in 10 hours a week? I think not.

Kanga59 · 25/04/2016 21:23

Sorry I wouldn't usually post a name but her name is in her MN username, so...

Here's the q

I wonder if the bot Who came in here and posted loads and loads with a username that was her first and second names (with bot in the middle!), will come back and tell us how she's feeling about forever now? 5k measly bonus, I feel sorry for her, she looked gutted

confusedbot · 25/04/2016 21:25

It does grate a bit on me especially recently. My upline didn't share her activity with me though and she is quite laid back does as little as possible just barks at the end of the month at non 4cc active people.
Also did you other ex bots have the 4cc board of shame?
Bearbehind is there a disclaimer in the post / comments? It isn't allowed without a disclaimer.

Kanga59 · 25/04/2016 21:25

My other w was, how much did the bot who was in the high profile newspaper get? She's been quite quiet about if in Facebook. Guilty feelings because it shows just how much ripping off she's done?

bearbehind · 25/04/2016 21:28

No disclaimer at all confused

Bostin · 25/04/2016 21:30

It is like one of this cults where they deprive you off sleep to make you more compliant.

Can someone PM me the link to the poor woman's video? I have a morbid fascination to watch it.

cozietoesie · 25/04/2016 21:33

I recall standing, many years ago, at a graveside and a very very religious old gentleman who had been one of the committal party sighed, turned to my father, and said 'Ah well, Boy. Is this all there is?'

If I were in an MLM, I think - albeit the circumstances would be very different - that I'd be asking myself that same question. 'Is this all there is?'

DollyTwat · 25/04/2016 21:38

She'll make out she is delighted with her cheque. She can't do anything else can she?
