It might be useful if someone could find and re-post the MNHQ guidance on posting here? We wouldn't wish anyone to transgress after all. Smile

rayofhope · 25/04/2016 13:13

Well I've just been having an epic catch up!

Welcome confused and delurker good to hear your stories.

So apparently there were 10,000 people in SA but only 994 people picked up a cheque and each of the people who get a cheque get themselves paid for and can bring one person for free too so that's nearly 2000 people getting the all expenses paid trip, so there's 8000 other people paying to be there!

Just reiterating what someone else said that with over 10 million business owners that means that just 0.0000994% of business owners got the free travel and cheques. Those are good odds, aren't they :/

rayofhope · 25/04/2016 13:16

Sorry mistake 944 people got cheques not 994

Twunk · 25/04/2016 13:19

you need to times by 100 ray. its still not much though!

DollyTwat · 25/04/2016 13:22

800 people who just paid to be there? Wow
Do you think they're posting that they were there and 'pretending' they got a free trip?

confused and delurker can I thank you for your honesty and confirmation of what we all know to be true.

RaeSkywalker · 25/04/2016 13:27

Does anyone have a link to the cheque video? I've looked for it online but can't find it!

Bovnydazzlers · 25/04/2016 13:32

Aw I feel so sorry for $5k cheque lady! The video shows just total disappointment.

FL have given away as little as they think they can get away with... For the two top uk bots they clearly thought, it's got to be over $1m, how low can we go over that?

delurker and confused with no judgement at all and just out of interest, how were you advised to sell the products? Has the advise changed in last 6 months since TV/botwatch got heavy on the false health claims?

Relay20 · 25/04/2016 13:36

PMed you Rae

RaeSkywalker · 25/04/2016 13:38

Thank you Relay!

Seenthelight21 · 25/04/2016 13:43

Relay20

Could I please see the video link too
Please pm me

I'm really intrigued having just left forever

AllMyBestFriendsAreMetalheads · 25/04/2016 13:48

All this cheese talk makes me really hungry.

Keep up the good work TV!

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 13:49

Welcome seenthelight 😊 would you be willing to share your story with us? What made you leave, what level you were etc? Hope your experience doesnt mirror the others we have seen?

confusedbot · 25/04/2016 13:49

Some people 1,500cc qualifiers would have got the trip paid for but not got a cheque. To get a cheque you have to do 700 non manager CC's, achieve car plan and have a 600cc manager leg. That's for a level 1 cheque. Lots of South Africans would have paid to attend the rallies too as its in their home country.

Yes TV and bot watch has definitely had an impact. Compliance is HUGE at the minute and I have to say top bots are cracking down on compliance but often newbies don't get told. I don't believe top bots retail product at all. They likely buy their 1cc product and then they focus on recruitment. I was encouraged to sell from product recommendation, trial boxes, online and in person launches.

throwingpebbles · 25/04/2016 13:54

Yes I have noticed it is mainly newbies / lower levels openly breaking the rules, it's like they haven't quite been made aware up front. Yet it is the uplines that end up benefitting from the rule breaking they pretend to disapprove of Angry

Bovnydazzlers · 25/04/2016 13:54

Also the $5k video shows not all chequer are revealed on front stage in front of thousands, 3 of them 'revealed' together in front of some seats with not many people seemingly watching. I wonder what amount you have to get to get a fancy cardboard cheque rather than just a paper one too.

cozietoesie · 25/04/2016 13:57

The UK may well be 'unusefully over-regulated' for some MLMs these days - compared with some of the 'less developed markets'. I wouldn't be in the least surprised to see the focus shifting to those fairly quickly.

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 13:57

This is the issue confused isnt it? if you comply, how on earth do you convince people to pay three times the norm for handwash, and how do you get someone to drink nasty cactus gel? Its a totally unsustainable business model (for the fbo's), If you dont comply you are breaking the law and botwatch/tv WILL have your guts for garters. Its a total loselose for fbo's however you look at it? 😔

Seenthelight21 · 25/04/2016 13:57

My story is somewhat similar to
Confusedbot

I joined over 2 years ago and I am at manager level. I too was having to fund case credits ccs just to achieve my leadership bonus. I couldn't sustain it any longer

TV and these threads did help me to see things differently

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 14:00

It already is though cozie east africa? Dubai? Malaysia... Big emerging markets at the global rally by the looks of things... But if uberbots cant keep control of their uk downlines with negativity filtering etc, how the hell are they going to do it frm halfway across the globe when dealing with different languages...🤔

smiinky · 25/04/2016 14:01

Cozietozie, thats why I was impressed that China came right out and banned it, they're not daft! And the Chinese are a nation of not only hard workers, but savers.

cozietoesie · 25/04/2016 14:02

They 'raise up' adherents in their own home countries, Melaw.

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 14:03

Can I ask a question seen confused delurker did any of you qualify for chairmans bonus? Or have team members that did? If so, how long did it usualoy take them to achieve it, and what was the average sum?

Sorry if thats complicated..

Melaw21 · 25/04/2016 14:03

Bad spelling on my part! On phone sorry!

RaeSkywalker · 25/04/2016 14:04

That video really is awful isn't it Sad

n0taBotfan · 25/04/2016 14:06

Can someone PM me the video link please?
