Think it's more 'monkey see monkey do' buffy. They're not supposed to come across as intelligent are they? More of an air head 'if I can do it then you can too' type of approach

buffythebotslayer35 · 20/03/2016 11:53

Yep, the blind leading the blind.
Would love to see a follow-up meme showing what the sum total gain from all of that sacrifice, time spent prospecting and being 'a good lil monkey', come to....

I think it's very telling that a certain ape has completely disappeared now from the forum but they probably revealed too much information in their Mormon slave ramblings. Natasha demonstrated yesterday that despite being a senior manager she has no idea who is in her team or if they even make any money which is bizarre when Forever portray them as mentors who are supposed to coach and help you. We know in the marketing plan that to achieve manager you need 120cc so that's around 60 new recruits who have joined Natasha. To be a senior manager you need to do 720cc a year. Again to maintain her status she has to be either recruiting 360 new people or selling £120,000 pounds worth of stock based on 1cc=£166 the fact she has no idea who she is signing up and if they are still working speaks volumes about why you should not join these MLM's the managers clearly don't care about you at all, you are just a cc to hit their targets.

DollyTwat · 20/03/2016 12:29

The figures just don't make sense do they and as has mentioned before, it's the people at the bottom, the worker bots, who earn the least. Whereas in any other business the salesperson would earn the most.
I think what really gets me is that the ones at the top parade a (mostly fake) lifestyle in front of the people who've paid for it

In any other business that would not go down well at all, but with the right mindset training they're convinced to keep working hard.

I agree with Eyespying she will never answer Betty's questions because she would be admitting her "business" is just a fraudulent pyramid scheme. MLM must stand for money laundering Mormons. I can't wait to see how these shill bots will react when their masters leave them to the mercy of uk courts.

stopfaffing · 20/03/2016 12:54

Morning Natasha, thanks for returning to chat with us again. I would be grateful if you could have a read of Sarah's experience (previously mentioned upthread) here. We have found it is typical of other cases told to us, or experienced by posters on these threads.

Before I first saw the first thread (a lament from someone who had 'lost' a friend to FL and MLM) I had no idea at all about multi level marketing companies but, I began to do my own research to find out exactly what was going on.

There is a lot of evidence out there, Natasha, if you really want to scratch the surface of what seems to be a laudable business model. Under the surface however, is the grim reality for most people persuaded to become involved.

Am I a 'keyboard warrior' because I have slowly become involved in a gathering campaign to shine a light on a dubious business model that appears harmless but in reality is a wolf in sheep's clothing? Hmm, I am certainly a middle-aged woman Grin who has become concerned enough to post here regularly, and independantly looking for evidence that proves the claims made by bots and the MLM companies they represent. I haven't found it yet.

You have been asked a few times now to provide information about your own business i.e.

How many people you have so far signed up as FL reps.

How many remain signed up as your downline.

What level in the company they are currently.

I don't want names. I don't want you to betray a confidence. I don't want you to break any rules about publishing private information.

Just bald figures.

Can you oblige please? Thank you.

Gimlet1984 Yes, it's no wonder these shill Bot have to mind their words. If one was to declare that he/she has known what the actual results of the so-called 'FLP' MLM income opportunity has been (even in his/her own section of the constantly-churning pyramid), then that shill bot has effectively confessed to being in breach of the fraud Act (sections 2 and 3). i.e. Fraud by withholding key-information and fraud by abuse of a position of trust.

There will only be a criminal investigation and prosecution, if enough direct, and indirect, victims of any one 'MLM' cultic rackets get together with their political representatives and complain and complain and complain again. And then complain some more.

Eyespying · 20/03/2016 12:59

Correction - That should have read in breach of the Fraud Act 2006 (sections 3 & 4). Fraud by withholding key-information and fraud by abuse of a position of trust.

What Eyes said. I would have put it a lot less eloquently.

Eyespying · 20/03/2016 14:10

Here's a brief summary of the current situation:

Since this particular 'Amway' copy-cat 'MLM/Prosperity Gospel' cultic racket was first instigated, the overall hidden insolvency/churn rate for so-called 'FLP businesses/distributorships,' has always been effectively 100%. In order to continue ensnaring fresh vulnerable victims, the bosses of the 'FLP' racket have always been deliberately withholding this key-information from the public and regulators. So far, Natasha Shingles and her fellow British 'FL shill Bots have claimed to be completely unaware of this key-information, but after haunting these threads, they can't pretend they were not given access to the truth that they have been living a lie and have been habitually in breach of the Fraud Act, 2006.

NB. Before they vanish, these are apparently not Natasha Shingle's fraudulent words:

www.natashashingles.flp.com/story.jsf

'My Story'

'FOREVER has helped millions of people, from all around the world, achieve dreams that they never imagined possible.'

'FOREVER has given me the chance to share a wonderful opportunity and amazing products with the entire world. I have achieved financial independence and better health through this amazing opportunity. If you are serious about your health and taking control of your financial future, then FOREVER is the perfect opportunity for you!'

shadowplay · 20/03/2016 14:24

Eyes, this is excellent. If I were Natasha or flp high command I would be getting in touch with lawyers to start legal proceedings for libel and defamation - unless of course everything you've just written there is absolutely true and bringing about legal proceedings would only further expose the truth and put flp in the shit.

Balls in your court flp and Natasha. If eyes is making false accusations, do something about it.

FLhahaha · 20/03/2016 14:34

I know I am miles behind but I would like to thank last and the Ann Summers person for the Timeless Vie post. Ann Summers used to be (back when I thought of MLMs as 'party selling' and all about the product) the only one that made sense to me as I can sort of understand why their products work at a 'party'.

I used to think that the point of MLMs was to encourage people to prey on the goodwill of their friends and family to buy overpriced products. Pretty awful n itself, but fairly self limiting as once the initial 'launch' is over people learn to say no.

shadowplay · 20/03/2016 14:42

Also, if I were a betting man, I would put money on Natasha's fb business page being carefully edited soon.

Thank you Eye.

(He wanted 2+2 to make 4. Futile aspiration when you're dealing with MLMs.)

Twunk · 20/03/2016 17:22

Amway attracted a lot more men it seems than some of the others...

Scriven just sounds annoyed he was no longer getting his share of the ill-gotten gains, but it just shows that the parent companies will turn on their distributors in a second.

Eyespying · 20/03/2016 17:37

Twunk - In 'Amway,' the women Bots were taught always to play the role of obedient smiling and nodding partner. When on cult business, they were forbidden to wear anything other than skirts or dresses (but nothing too sexy), and they were supposed to agree with everything the male Bots said in public. Men almost always presented the ritual 'Amway opportunity'. They had to wear a dark jacket, light shirt and bright tie. Beards were forbidden. The 'Amway' recruitment psychology was that if a women appeared to understand the 'plan,' then male prospects wouldn't want to admit that they couldn't. Interestingly, the biggest 'Amway' shill Bot, Dexter Yager, had a beard, but no one seemed to notice this.

crumpetsfortea37 · 20/03/2016 17:45

Am I right in thinking MLMs are illegal in China? Perhaps we could use the same arguments to try and get them made illegal in uk too.

Eyespying · 20/03/2016 18:04

crumpetsfortea37 so-called 'MLM' trading schemes, as permitted in the USA and elsewhere (based on endless-chain-recruitment), are illegal in China, but they still exist there disguised as 'direct selling schemes.'

However, what so-called 'MLM companies have been hiding, is already unlawful in the UK under the fraud Act.

If I were drafting new legislation, I would want to introduce a comprehensive addition to the Fraud Act 2006, defining a closed-market swindle (aka pyramid scheme) and making it a criminal offence not only to instigate and operate, but also to dissimulate, a closed-market swindle. However, a law is also required to make it a criminal offence to establish, and /or, pervert, a non-rational ritual belief system for the clandestine purpose of human exploitation.
