Still no answer to my questions? Hmm

were they too complex? Not enough 'sparkle' throw in? or perhaps those figures are just too damn depressing to share and will shatter the façade.

ArthurSnopes · 18/03/2016 22:44

Hmm. Have I hit a nerve?

cozietoesie · 18/03/2016 22:53

Now can some techy person explain to me why the same link to Timeless Vie is giving me just so much more on the laptop? Eg all those lovely photos, links, thoughts, Blogroll etc that just aren't there when I access it from the iPad?

(Confused of Bognor Wink)

I'm hoping that at some point all the bots looking at the fabulous lifestyle paraded before them realise that THEY PAID FOR IT

The lifestyle you aspire to is paid for by YOU. The worker bee. The new recruit. The lifestyle only exists because it's paid for by the new recruits

We all know that the lifestyle certain bots want their minions to emulate (don't forget: it's a monkey-see monkey-do business) is funded by credit cards, sales of training tools, success day fees, and long-suffering husbands, wives, partners, or parents.

The whole thing conjures up a curious image of bots posing in front of fairground mirrors in their fur coats, blowing smoke up eachother's knickerless arses, while the monkey in the corner abused amused itself to death.

throwingpebbles If I was an senior SFO official directing the investigation any 'MLM' racket, after collecting the identities of all the transient persons who have been under contract to the UK-registered 'MLM' front company, my first port of call would be the Inland Revenue, to see just how many of these alleged 'business owners' have actually paid tax on overall net-earnings accruing from their 'MLM'-related activities.

Mysteriously, even though millions of UK citizens are known to have been burned in 'MLM' rackets since they first arrived in the 1970s, hundreds of millions of pounds stolen and SFO officials have been informed as to exactly how 'MLM' rackets function, no criminal investigation has ever been launched. The fact that the former Deputy Director of the UK SFO, Peter Kiernan, represented 'Amway UK Ltd.' when it finally faced DTI civil investigation n 2007, and then took a highly-paid job with Crowell & Moring LLP (a law firm connected to 'Amway' and the sinister 'Blackwater Inc.'), might have something to do with this.

throwingpebbles · 19/03/2016 08:07

Quite eyes.... If (when Grin ) the regulators sit up and pay attention properly, the evidence will be pretty easy to piece together. Sadly I think the top bots will be hung out to dry by FL and left to fight individual fraud cases on their own, while FL top brass find ways to disappear ....

GreenGoblin0 · 19/03/2016 08:29

sorry to be pedantic but hasn't been the inland revenue for over 10 years. It's HMRC now.

BSintolerant · 19/03/2016 08:33

Arthur - you've definitely hit a nerve judging from rentedcastlebot's rambling response. Given that she bravely admitted to suffering from depression in one of her training videos, this part of her response sounds like projection:

Please feel free to get in touch for a bit of support as I worry for your mental health x

Looks like her company's accounts aren't due until October.

throwingpebbles · 19/03/2016 08:35

Haha green I was going to correct everyone too but I just managed to rein in my inner pedant Grin

throwingpebbles · 19/03/2016 08:38

Ps guys I am not sure targetting people on their walls is the right way to go really. It's unlikely to have any kind of beneficial impact and it could get you in trouble.

Also, if you find any really damning stuff make sure you save it before you share it! (And ideally let botwatch/ Tv have a copy too if you would like to help Smile )

BSintolerant · 19/03/2016 08:42

I'm sure that she'll be delighted to tell HMRC all about her earnings of £40k to £50k a month, because we all expect ex-policemen and women to be honest (like her brother, who claimed she'd bought her castle in one Forever Fibbing video) and we know how much she loves bragging about her earnings on training videos, at success days, and on FB.

Twunk · 19/03/2016 09:21

I agree with pebbles - this isn't the right way to go about it.

I think we need a strategy for people to extricate themselves from the MLMs, providing support etc - targeting individuals is likely to entrench positions.

However, we are still on the look out for medical and weight loss claims - send them through to Botwatch.

Twunk · 19/03/2016 09:23

I still don't understand the earnings thing. Presumably the Bots get paid for their appearance at brainwashing Success days?

MimsyPimsy · 19/03/2016 09:41

I agree with Twunk. I also feel we need some whistleblowers to add to the evidence. Of course, thanks to the modus operandi of these cults, they are in short supply.

Re MPs as was mentioned earlier, does anyone know of any championing the cause against MLMs? Is anyone compiling all this evidence into one report? The SFO might then be obliged to take a look - although from what Eyes says, I'm being a little optimistic.

cozietoesie · 19/03/2016 09:43

One way or the other, I'm sure speakers are paid - after all, some of these people set their rates at medium to high 5 figures for every appearance. I very much doubt that they'll be throwing many freebies the way of the MLMs. Smile

cozietoesie · 19/03/2016 09:46

PS - although I may have misunderstood you, Twunk. Did you mean the ordinary distributors?

EvilBug · 19/03/2016 09:55

De-lurking, and loving everyone's work Smile. Can I pm someone to do a video grab, I can't do it on my phone, and don't want to mention it here in case it gets pulled first. Thanks
