From the latest TV blog: We suspect that these events are another source of income for the MLMs
This is referring to the training days, the business promos, the tools which MLMers are told they must have or they won't be taken seriously and 'helped' by their upline.

All these things cost the distributor money. Where does that money go? Upline of course.

However, even those bots who are held up as success stories may not be receiving the money from the tools. So even our beloved top bots may not be in on it the biggest part of the whole fraud. They may have no clue about the nature of this side of the business.

Motorheadmum · 15/03/2016 12:09

True eyes. Just annoys me how it has been put that there is bullying. Honestly if people saw the true side of most high bots they wouldn't think that!

chuckingstones · 15/03/2016 12:27

power - you should post the numbers I found for ITWorks, something along the lines of 99.9% of the "company" earn less than a 6 figure salary on average (of course those earning well over 6 figures skew this amount even more!). There's also evidence that a majority of those earning 6 figures have been "helped along the way" in order to promote the feeling that it's possible to make it (I'd love to see evidence of someone achieving that off their own back).

Anyone heard of Total Life Changes and/or Le-Vel?

A bot has turned up on the PND group I am a member of on Facebook and I am beyond fuming. A quick look into her FB profile turned up a link to this YouTube video
m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7TVzMinbWM

And a screenshot of some woman claiming her cancer was cured by something called Iaso Tea.

Not sure how to proceed.

This was her post:

^Is there anyone in this group that has a really open mind and is willing to try a new approach to getting better?

I was really poorly after I had my baby and I have probably been lost for a lot of my life to be honest. If you are in this group, you will probably relate to that 'lost' feeling...

However, I have come across a few things that have helped me. If you are interested in learning more, then please send me a message and lets have a chat.

I would love to be able to help more people :-) Im not saying you wont ever have a bad day in your life, but there is a way.^

Kind of hesitated about posting it but it's made me furious that someone would think it's okay to peddle this shite to women who are quite clearly vulnerable!

LMGTFY · 15/03/2016 13:41

artless that's awful Angry

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/03/2016 13:58

Big apologies if this is old news, but before Castlebot made her profile private there was a conversation between her mum and Skibot, where the mum thanked Skibot for staying at 'our' house.
If the whole family live there then the cost of the rent starts making a bit more sense i.e. shared among multiple people. It also raises the big question of where everyone is going to live once they move out...

Melaw21 · 15/03/2016 14:06

artless that is truly dreadful... Maybe botwatch might be able to help with this one?

Dickie thats a very interesting scenario isnt it? Well spotted, certainly had not considered that possibility before.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/03/2016 14:18

Melaw a few things slot into place suddenly don't they! There was a photo where the whole clan plus Skibot were watching TV on a Saturday night which adds weight to it.
My guess is that the FL powers that be told Castlebot to up her game so Mumbot and ReluctantDad sold up and moved in to help make it happen.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/03/2016 14:23

And..... when did Castlebot move in? If it was September last year that's when Mumbot made her FB profile private.

They probably have multiple 6 figure people living in castlebots place., in order to pay the rent. Grin

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/03/2016 14:57

I agree with you, I think she is very vulnerable and it makes the whole family vulnerable. At least her sister has her own business. There was an interview in the business section of their local newspaper last week with the sister which various bots were touting around on FB, but crucially she didn't mention FL once, only her actual business.

I am guessing that the £40-60K is what her downline is turning over per month, making her income fairly modest, even if she is towards the top of the tree.

holdontoyourbutts · 15/03/2016 15:07

Dickie there is a fair bit of data on the company check website that backs up your theories. Makes sense to move your family into one large property if you factor in the savings through no childcare payments (GP's) and difficulties in perhaps getting mortgages due to being self employed.

throwingpebbles · 15/03/2016 15:07

very clear guidance on social media here (thanks smiinky)

Looks like chimps et al came closer to committing an offence than we ever did

throwingpebbles · 15/03/2016 15:09

This is helpful guidance too.

Hopefully we are all now a bit more conscious that people we refer to could be reading what we say. But equally that doesn't mean we can't make observations about their "business" even if they find them upsetting to read

Melaw21 · 15/03/2016 15:21

Thank you smiinky and throwing, very informative! There you go folks, some clear guidelines which confirm what we already knew. There has been NO bullying, whatever certain mlm promoting individuals may see fit to try and spin to an audience. We are basically a (large) group of people, from all different backgrounds (ages) and walks of life, with different stories to tell about why we dislike mlm's and wish to expose the dubious practices of those at/near the top of the funnel... And so far, a very good job has been done! Keep up the good work folks! And hooray as usual for freedom of speech, thought and expression!

workingwithchimps · 15/03/2016 15:42

With no apology that I asked for I hasten to add - we are really just a bunch of civilised individuals here.....

Afternoon all, busy day off with my little ones today, but they're having a rare moment of playing quietly so just popping in.
Halloumi (which my uncultured phone wants to autocorrect to hall punk?!?!) and Baileys for me...

Melaw21 · 15/03/2016 15:53

There comes a time wild when you must throw of the shackles of what society dictates to be the norm and just eat cheese at any time! 😜
