Has she actually left her job, Snafu?

ambler21 · 01/03/2016 20:10

Thegreatsnafu
Somebody linked this parody YouTube vid of thermomix on another thread.
I haven't looked into it properly but there are a few warning signs straight away. As to what part of the continuum it lives hopefully someone can help you.

Patzy85 · 01/03/2016 20:11

I love the term 'royalty style income', what a way to sell it!

Check these wild claims out!

Snafu

'Thermomix' aka 'Vorwerk' has been touched on in these threads. It's been generally savaged by the media in Australia, as a dubious company peddling grossly-overpriced, and largely un-unnecessary, gadgets.

www.news.com.au/lifestyle/home/interiors/thermomix-tm5-launches-in-secret-and-customers-are-not-happy/news-story/c19a5843d6971e6eedf48d0020ee909e

A good rule of thumb is if you search the name of any suspected scam along with the word scam or fraud, and you drop on lots of carefully-worded material insisting that it's not a scam or fraud, then it's a pretty safe bet that it is.

Firstly private pension? Willable?
No and no.
Not unless you set up your own pension to pay in to and only willable if you leave it to someone who is over 18 and can get over your death quick enough to keep hitting those targets!

The income isn't willable. It's the downline who are willable. (So if you're in a downline, think about that!)

Secondly I cannot be the only one who can't make out how the math works there? It does look, if you turned it upside down, triangular though!

nextyearrodney · 01/03/2016 20:23

The one with the over the top eyebrows Patzy85

lastuseraccount123 · 01/03/2016 20:23

so, downlines are willable kinda of like slaves were in the olden days?

lovely. MLMs, bringing back Feudal society, one victim at a time.

lastuseraccount123 · 01/03/2016 20:23

For slaves read serfs

Ribbet8890 · 01/03/2016 20:25

Really nextyearrodney, that is very interesting. Tim Sales AKA Mr MLM (who bots all look up to) has joined Ariix, I see. And just look at his reasoning.

Saturation!

Patzy85 · 01/03/2016 20:32

Exactly like that last, disturbing as hell.

MrGrumpy01 · 01/03/2016 20:35

Thanks too busy that makes sense

Toobusytowee · 01/03/2016 20:39

I've just been browsing some Bot pages and a lot of them go on about 'financial independence'. Independent from what? The state? Does it mean you can come off benefits? Are they aiming the 'opportunity' at people on benefits?

I assume they mean they are not dependent on a boss in a J.O. B. But they are in fact more dependent than any other type of employee or proper business owner. That's why they have to keep spinning those plates and keeping their downlines performing and recruiting +++.

Or maybe they mean you don't need handouts from your parents or family?

Whatever they mean, it just doesn't make sense.

Motorheadmum · 01/03/2016 20:40

patzy this is exactly what my ariix bot who left JP with her up line to join ariix is saying. Basically they think they will attract other current bots by being one of the first in so top of the pyramid.

TheGreatSnafu · 01/03/2016 20:41

Thanks for the guidance.

I have a different friend in the USA who was left suicidal after being left in massive debt with what seemed like hundreds of bottles of Arbonne stock. She'd had direct debits monthly recurring orders setup, travelling for sales meetings, buying clothes for seminars, evening wear for parties, and lots of training resources and literally had no customers.

I helped clear out her stock and helped sell most of it on eBay for a fraction of what she paid for it. She had taken out high interest loans to pay for the direct debits to buy the stock that she wasn't selling. She was a mentally unstable person who was very vulnerable.

So now I feel desperate to stop this other friend. She is working out her notice so her job may be recoverable. She's got a decent job with good benefits but is in a vulnerable time in her life due to very very difficult circumstances. And obviously could do with more money but Thermomix isn't going to do it.

I am not sure how to approach this. I will see if there are any resources online.

acatcalledjohn · 01/03/2016 20:46

I agree, that's why I said that it is blatantly ignored by business owners, and a lot of training is done by Bots.

It's not your business. You are vertically integrated, which is a term they use to describe 'support' but in reality means you are still owned by FL. Only those whom have registered as Ltd companies have their own business, but it appears it doesn't include the snake oil peddling for any of them. Instead it's their mentoring/training business spouting shite that's a vague attempt at a business.

Ribbet, Hun, do you have a cover for my trusty Nokia 3310? Can't imagine my bizness flogging parslai without my favourite brick!

Also, the thermomix parody is hilarious! I particularly like the "I drink alone at 11am" comment. Add pjs to that quote and you have an FL distributor Grin

cozietoesie · 01/03/2016 20:50

Awful for her - and you - Snafu. I'll leave comment on anything you can do at this stage to the ex-MLM people who post. I'm not sure there is but they may have different thoughts.

Ribbet8890 · 01/03/2016 20:54

acatcalledjohn of course i do!
