Conveniently, and predictably, this person ignores the fact that 'MLM' adherents have been offered commission payments on their own purchases
I said 9 threads ago I get 20-30% commission on all sales - this effectively equates to the staff discount most retailers offer their staff.

and on the purchases of their recruits, and on those of the recruits of their recruits, etc., ad infinitum.
At 1%, as I said, once they have an established team.

I am not ignoring anything.

Exorbitantly fixed-priced (and therefore, effectively-unsaleable) wampum products (often of a dubious pseudo-scientific nature) have been given in return for 'MLM' adherents' payments (based on their false expectation of future reward).
It's make up, love. No "wamoum products " of a "pseudo-scientific nature". I paid £69. I got a load of makeup which I used myself. I now sell makeup to others. So not effectively-unsaleable. And if they didn't like it, they wouldn't contact me to ask for more, would they?

bossbabebot · 24/02/2016 12:21

I agree Melaw - especially when a shill has turned down the opportunity of the right to buy their home just so they can live in a rented barn ---- now I am no financial expert but that looks a bit silly doesn't it?

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 12:27

Although I suspect red lipstick all over this one love am I close?

Roseformeplease · 24/02/2016 12:30

Can I just ask bots a quick question?

If Younique is such good make-up, why can't I buy it in Boots?

If Juice Plus is so good for you, why can't I buy it in a Health Food Shop?

Surely, if you have an amazing product, then the best way of getting it to the masses is to sell in where the masses are: Tesco, Boots etc. Even direct selling online (like Boden or Asos). Why are these products only available through direct selling?

Lovewineandchocs · 24/02/2016 12:31

melaw
It is the "taking a month off" bot-a bot couple really, who were rising stars over here. Not sure what the red lipstick reference means though? Smile will pm you the names

Melaw21 · 24/02/2016 12:32

Ooooh... Yes please :-) love

sminkypink · 24/02/2016 12:32

lovewineandchocs well that's predictable isn't it? Rats leaving the sinking ship, for something even more batshit, culty and overpriced

darceybussell · 24/02/2016 12:33

Same throwing, there have been panorama etc. documentaries about people in my profession. There are probably countless threads slagging off people who do what I do. I've never bothered to check, I'm not really bothered about people moaning about it, I'm not doing anything dodgy myself so I'm not that interested.

Contrast that with the venom our gym instructor mate is now receiving as a result of making a video moaning about juice plus! Obviously he is courting it on purpose, but I'm still really interested in how badly people are taking it. It's fascinating!

Lovewineandchocs · 24/02/2016 12:37

Lol
Yes I shall be lovewiine, it looks much classier 😀 the Ariix logo gives me the creeps lol yeh sounds really batshit. This bit couple have only been in it about 8 weeks but have apparently won a cruise! Easy to do when you transfer your team! Is Ariix the one with the lipgloss that allegedly helps you lose weight?

trinitybleu · 24/02/2016 12:37

Why aren't those GTech Air Ram vacuums available in Currys? (just one quick example, based on an advert I've just seen)

It's just a marketing technique - some companies sell via their own stores, some in department stores, some online only, some in magazine adverts.

Y offers a 90 day guarantee. If you don't like it, you get your money back, even if you've used the products. Boots won't do that.

sminkypink · 24/02/2016 12:39

yep, there's been controversy in most professions, in mine it was sweatshops, two of the companies owned by the parent company I worked for was the subject of a documentary, both times it was to do with handstitching that gets outsourced to homeworkers.
But now I'm freelance I don't really develop products asia. I work on branded to luxury and it's almost all made in Europe.
I was sent on several training courses when I had a j.o.b. I know how to inspect a garment factory in order to spot things that need sorting out because they are unethical/unsafe practises and I know how to speak to the media. thanks to my free fully expensed training.

sminkypink · 24/02/2016 12:41

yes, lovewineandchocs you can get anti depression lipgloss as well. It's utterly utterly bonkers. If you struggle hawking aloe shite, how the hell are you supposed to find customers for this.

Oh..... hang on a minute. Wink

nextyearrodney · 24/02/2016 12:41

Trinity if a client returns a product under that 90 day guarantee how does the reimbursement work - do the company or the distributer take the financial hit?

Eyespying · 24/02/2016 12:42

throwingpebbles It might be better just to take this one question at a time, because no matter how many common-sense questions we post, these 'MLM' shill Bots aren't going to answer fully.

In my opinion, so far, the most-fascinating (unintentional) disclosure made by these 'MLM' shill bots, is their complete ignorance of the overall results of their respective 'MLM' rackets.

Imagine if these innocent characters were selling a pill to make you rich, and effectively everyone who had bought, and swallowed it, was known to have lost money. But these shill Bots keep insisting that:

they don't know this

anyone who has lost money obviously didn't follow the instructions correctly, to keep swallowing the pill, no matter what its effects, until it worked

they have also bought and taken the same pill and it has worked for them, but they can't be expected to supply any independent proof

So wrong to assume that everyone who doesn't work with a mlm is in a 'stuffy office' jeezo, at least in an office job you have set hours, holiday pay sick pay etc!

nextyearrodney I know with FL they have a 60 day money back guarantee and they have to refund the customer themselves

sminkypink · 24/02/2016 12:54

hence the complaints on the facebook page that they didn't get a refund.

I suppose if you are struggling to make your 4CC, refunding a C9 is not something you're gonna be wanting to do.

rayofhope · 24/02/2016 12:55

lovewine I can just imagine how that's going on down at FL HO!!

I was approached by someone in jeunesse ages ago, they had done Forever and said it was far too saturated and that jeunesse was the way forward as it was new to the UK. I think a few of her Forever team jumped ship to jeunesse with her too

Eyespying · 24/02/2016 12:57

Laughably, trinitybleu has reluctantly admitted that in her 'MLM,' she has been offered commission payments on her own purchases and on the purchases of her recruits, and on those of the recruits of her recruits, etc., ad infinitum.

It strikes me that no matter what scripted BS, babble and white noise any 'MLM' shill Bot recites, this financially-incestuous offer of infinity, is irrefutable evidence that 'MLM' adherents have been handing over their money based on their false expectation of future reward, and attempting to find others to do exactly the same.
