Im charting Blue Diamond for May so yes definitely happy with my profits. You can look up what average earnings are if you want to. I've worked ridiculously silly hours yes, but would do it all again to be in this position.

I'm going to relax a bit though with my hours. Being in such a rubbish situation last year has fuelled the whole "working like a dog" because I never want to be back in that position.

workingwithchimps · 23/02/2016 16:26

LMGTFY - to be honest I don't care what it is - I make enough to live a good life - if you were to put it into hourly terms - I work a lot of hours - though not as many as I used to work in my day job

Melaw21 · 23/02/2016 16:27

lmgtfy welcome! Great questions! I hope you get a straight answer, without smoke and mirrors, law of attraction diversions, being called a pussy, compared to a racist, then being accused of victimising! Good luck! Im rooting for ya 😉😉😄

lastuseraccount123 · 23/02/2016 16:27

quinoa you are 100% right.

lights a tealight for all victims of MLMs

melaw yes I will lay down my life for you. Cos I belive if I just work hard enough in 10 hours around the kids I will be rich and be able to leave my J.O.B. And If I fail, i know it won't be anyone's fault but my own.

Melaw21 - again you spout rubbish - Google index with authority websites - Mumsnet just happens to be one

workingwithchimps · 23/02/2016 16:30

Last - are you trying to insult me?

Eyespying · 23/02/2016 16:32

'Vego - with people like eye spying - who refer to us as whatever - are you surprised that we appear non human? My point and why I am sticking up for my profession and what we all do is that as sub human we allegedly are - the ones that accuse us - or post sarky comments are not much better - they offer no alternative, insight or facts into what we do - if any of them were a diamond, ruby or senior figure - then with gravitas their words would maybe matter - but to spew out the same boring lines does not mean that they are getting to me or anyone else - it means that they hope with constant harping they can gather enough people who frankly failed to support there views - we are not the ones trying to do the brain washing here - about time we stood up to them'

This is classic reality-inverting 'MLM' BS. I'd love to know where I've said that anyone is sub-human? In point of fact, on several occasions on these threads, I posted that 'MLM' shills steadfastly pretend to have acquired a secret knowledge contained in a step-by-step plan which has enabled them to transform from ordinary poor enslaved humans into propserous, healthy, happy, free, etc., super humans, and that they are prepared to share this secret knowledge with anyone (for a price.)

Melaw21 · 23/02/2016 16:34

Nope sorry chimps Im afraid you are wrong, google algorythms require rich interactive content in relation to keyword search terms, in a nutshell... there are keywords here that people tend to search, scam, mlm, juice plus, forever etc... the more thread activity there is, the keyword searches then identify richer content availability for the searcher, through the use of hidden search optimisation algorythms which in turn place these results above other less active results for the same searched keywords... Or there abouts... Hun 😘

VegoDoll · 23/02/2016 16:36

chimps, I find eyespyings posts to be incredibly cold. Yet, he has accused ME of being cold with a 'controlling narrative' over and over again. I recently highlighted that this whole " helping " vulnerable women theme on this thread would actually be admirable if they wasn't actually taking the piss out of these so-called " vulnerable " women. They skimmed over that one, someone said something about keeping this thread "light hearted " alryt then ;)

The only reason why I am on this thread, because the optimist in me is hoping there can be some balance to this discussion or someone will be able to see that not everyone in MLM is a con artist or whatever terms they have used to describe us.

workingwithchimps · 23/02/2016 16:39

Vego - don't worry with eyes - unless he is calling us shills, Mormons, adherents or cultics - we don't fit into his classification of human so I don't bother

MimsyPimsy · 23/02/2016 16:40

Vego "Im charting Blue Diamond for May"
So what level are you now? Confused

Quinoa20 · 23/02/2016 16:40

I'm charting emerald ruby slippers sapphire lump of coal! So boo ya!

Nu skin is that makes your eye bags disappear video that was being posted endlessly on face book last year, right? Haven't seen it in ages?

LMGTFY · 23/02/2016 16:40

working I get that you're happy with your income, however I have a steady job that pays fairly well, I only work part time so I have quality time with my children (not working while they are in the house as that is not quality time). I also know that by working more hours in this job I can earn more money, I know exactly how much more as I know what an extra hour will put into my bank without any expenses being paid out (aside from Mr tax man but then none of us can escape him!), anyway, the reason I am asking is it is surely prudent to know whether slogging for 15 hours is worth it, when I could actually earn just as much doing a couple of hours overtime. For this I think it is very important that at least an average hourly rate should be available from an upline/recruiter so people can make an informed decision. Not the harder you work the more you earn as that's just nonsense without facts to back it up. Please not I'm not having a pop, this is a genuine query/comment I feel.

CheekySmile · 23/02/2016 16:42

Ok, I'm going to try one more time. There's a few people on the thread now who are involved in an MLM scheme. Are any of you willing to offer an opinion on what this report from the WFDSA states, that the average retail sales per year by a MLM business owner in 2014 were £506, and if there are many, many people turning over way more than that, what it means for thousands of other people who invest their time and money?

VegoDoll · 23/02/2016 16:42

Quinoa, you are thinking of Juenesse.

bettyberry · 23/02/2016 16:46

I'm with you LMGTFY my hourly rate is around £25/hr before expenses. Next year my expenses will drop because childcare need drops.

I don't buy for one second that they don't know. No sensible business person ignores the very obvious part of their business. The cold hard figures being Net and gross profit, expenses and liabilities.

Patzy85 · 23/02/2016 16:46

Cheeky - I tried last time, they just ignore all such comments that ask for any kind of real-life figures or statistics with the 'I don't need to prove myself to you' retort.

Melaw21 · 23/02/2016 16:47

Ahhh vego am I correct that Nuskin has been banned from China and is in trouble with the chinese authorities for being an illegal pyramid type scheme? Also were there mis selling issues in the states also with fines and trouble? eyes can you shed light on this without me dredging google for details you may already posess? As an additional point, although I could be wrong, wasnt there some issue with people complaining they were being ripped off by nuskin in malaysia? Allegedly?

bulstrode · 23/02/2016 16:47

I don't really think what any individual earns or claims to earn is the point. The evidence shows that the majority of people who join mlms lose money and you only have to be the unfortunate recipient of the recruitment adverts on your facebook news feed to see that they are preying on people who are desperate for work that they can fit in to their lives. One question. Why the minimum monthly personal spends/ turnover if you genuinely own and have control over your own business?

lazycoo · 23/02/2016 16:48

cheeky is that the third time you've asked that this afternoon? Doubt you'll get anything more than an aggressive 'deal with it' from chimp, if she indeed deigns to respond (odds aren't looking good though) and vego has previous for ignoring questions. vego, as you're busy 'getting round the morality' (your words), you're therefore a con artist so what's the point in trying to show yourself up otherwise?

Eyespying · 23/02/2016 16:48

'chimps, I find eyespyings posts to be incredibly cold. Yet, he has accused ME of being cold with a 'controlling narrative' over and over again. Call me cold, but I've only kept politely pointing out the main chapters the non-rational 'MLM controlling narrative,' and explaining in accurate terms that inflexible 'MLM' shill Bots are all obliged to stick to a tightly-worded jargon script, no matter what quantifiable evidence is produced proving the script to be puerile, reality-inverting BS.

crazycatlady26 · 23/02/2016 16:48

This shit makes me mad

VegoDoll · 23/02/2016 16:49

melaws you are probably right. I have no idea so I can't say either way.

bulstrode · 23/02/2016 16:51

Overwhelming majority....

VegoDoll · 23/02/2016 16:53

To be fair, 'morality' was probably a wrong word to use. I certainly don't think I am doing anything immoral. So, don't know why I said that really. But I am sure you will keep bringing it up anyway.
