user1455833347 You are another welcome voice of common-sense.

A good way of assessing 'MLM' opponents, is to ask would we want to call this person as a witness for the prosecution of an 'MLM.' In Mr. Howie's case, judging by this video, I think the answer would be a unanimous, no.

Melaw21 · 22/02/2016 11:00

Totally agree eyes 😊

user1455833347 · 22/02/2016 11:01

How does one go about changing their user name? I'm going to be honest, I'm not totally thrilled with (user1455833347)

cozietoesie · 22/02/2016 11:12

I think you have to do it on the main site. Go to your Myaccount and just type the new name in the relevant box. 'Save', password etc and you're away.

cozietoesie · 22/02/2016 11:18

Or to be more precise, MyMumsnet (top right of page)>Myaccount>Username>Type in new name>scroll down a little>password>Save.

You should get a coloured banner on the top of the page saying that you've changed successfully but you can also check by looking at the posting box and seeing what name is there. Once you've selected a name, it's 'reserved' for you forever.

shadowplay · 22/02/2016 11:24

Thanks Cozie.

DayToDayShit · 22/02/2016 12:13

Yes you are right. We don't need the likes of RH. He can be beneficial with what he is doing on his own and we can continue to do just fine on our own. He does appear to be a bit of a twat with the witches and bitches, so we shall let him get on with it.

Eyespying · 22/02/2016 12:40

This post by Mr. Howie, from last summer, gives a clearer picture of his reasoning and motives. He says that he's been head-hunted by 'MLM' racketeers, because of his significant FB following.

Welcome userSmile . Has everybody noticed, the first fb posts from the Flbots that have come home from the success day are of their children, saying how much they have missed and love them? Slight bit of guilt going on there methinks.

Patzy85 · 22/02/2016 13:27

Annie - I have noticed that too.

I'm still in disbelief that anyone would pay to attend such an event. It looked extremely dull! Imagine whooping and clapping like seals over someone you've never met getting "recognition".

I also noticed that new #manhun on stage, making manger after 11 weeks... Because he's friends with #castlebots brother! Some downline shuffling there.

5000 delusional people pretending to be successful. I know the bots I follow have had very little success, yet there they were, celebrating being a #bossbitch. Hmm

WonderousStories · 22/02/2016 13:37

And even if your poor baby has been in hospital you can still make success day your priority......

Just putting it there and waiting for the pm backlash from the bot herself.... Like before....

Melaw21 · 22/02/2016 13:41

wonderous shocking!! Just goes to show how far away these mlms actually are from
The 'work life balance' they actually sell to people!

kamchatka23 · 22/02/2016 13:42

None of that from my remaining FLbot - just lots of photos of her standing on stage waving a flag doing an #excited face.
BarbecueBot has now thrown herself into obsessively going on about her fantastic new opportunity (with Ariix) and there's been a bit of a positivity meme war going on between them for the last couple of weeks.

NorbertDentressangle · 22/02/2016 13:42

cozietoesie "On these 'Success Days' - remind me whose 'success' it's supposed to be?"

Oh, but cozie, my bot came away from the weekend with a wonderful bright yellow suitcase - the epitome of success surely?! Wink What more could a bot person want?

Well worth the two days spent away from family, the travel costs, hotel and food costs surely (not to mention the year long slog of working every hour imaginable, driving hundreds of miles each week to see teamies, working during evenings, weekends, illness and even family holidays with no benefits such as paid holiday or sick pay)

Clarella · 22/02/2016 13:42

I agree with toobusy and I think it's clear from what eye spying has posted below its a combo of both.

Personally, if I were Howie, I'd stay clear of fighting scientific clap trap with more 'science' and focus on the dishonest peddle pushing to support his anti MLM issues, though he's not really fully got the wider issue of the mlm thing other than the outcome at the coal face, so to speak. (Irritating haranguing and false claims)

The recent bbc trust me I'm a dr pointed out that you just wee extra protein out from your body if you're getting enough. And protein shake didn't especially make a difference.

A wise man once said to me - it's exercising the muscle that builds muscle.

Melaw21 · 22/02/2016 13:44

5-10 hrs a week my arse... More like 50-100 hrs if you want to even earn 1/2 the minimum wage of a 40 hour equivalent job , before deducting your expenses and business costs! Grrr.... It makes you so mad!

Melaw21 · 22/02/2016 13:48

Mind you... I could properly #sackmyboss right now, he is doing my head in! Maybe #parslai will save me! Lol 😂😂😂

Lovewineandchocs · 22/02/2016 13:50

norbert
I know-it is my former upline's greatest ambition to receive one of those suitcases (for doing 4ccs per month for 12 months I believe!) Earning approx £8000 for the company and being presented with something that looks like a cement mixer! Yay! #pieceofcrap

shadowplay · 22/02/2016 13:52

Kamchatka, talking of positive memes, my bot recently posted this one, which has really, really motivated me. I always believed I could time travel, so I'll come back here with next week's lotto numbers.

Nods at eyespying .....tis me .......

NorbertDentressangle · 22/02/2016 13:53

Re: yellow suitcases ...on a positive note, I guess it means people can give them a wide berth at the airport so they can avoid being recruited during the queue for check-in Smile

DayToDayShit · 22/02/2016 13:58

have you seen Successday on twitter. Hilarious

ambler21 · 22/02/2016 14:02

My power bot has just posted this exquisitely ironic inspirational quote. I mean........the sentiment just screams forever living doesn't it Hmm

Goodness. Do they know the history of and stats surrounding the Golden Gate Bridge ?

Annie65 · 22/02/2016 14:21

I bet, deep down, somewhere unforbidden, they must get miffed if someone new on the block comes along and makes Manager in 11 weeks. There must be some pent up anger issues there, if they are not allowed to show it. Jealousy, anger, frustration, ect, all negative emotions, are afterall, perfectly normal human emotions. It is not at all healthy to supress these emotions they have to come out one way or another.
