Thanks for that name change excellent work and having the text here too is so helpful.

I watch lots of bot pages for when they post that ubiquitous 'I have room for just 4 people to join my team this month' message and then I message the people who comment to say they are interested telling them to watch out as its a scam. My wording is nowhere near as good as yours so I'm going to use some bits from it.

A lot of the people that i message don't respond but some do and say thanks for the warning so I'm going to keep it up. I also know there are quite a few of us that do this Grin

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 08:09

Thanks, ray. I'll deliberately not talk about 30 pieces of silver the recruiting bonus but the amounts for 'payback' pale when you think about how much must have been laid out in the first place. So these are the basis of the cheques that are handed out on 'special days' ? I wonder where the 'Chairman's bonuses' etc to which people refer come from?

That's good, Puff. Smile

rayofhope · 13/02/2016 08:20

Don't for get though the above promotions are just you in training. The magic happens once you get to manager ;)

Toobusytowee · 13/02/2016 08:21

dreich, I think that strategy must be working. Have you noticed some bots now ask interested people to PM them instead of commenting on their recruiting post? They are trying to hide who is interested from us! I have had a few thank you messages too.

rayofhope · 13/02/2016 08:23

The people who get the chairmans bonus cheques at global rally are at least manager (with at least one manager in their direct downline) that's the only way they can qualify for it. So for example EC has at least 9 direct managers and a handful of managers 2 few layers down, that's why she's qualified for CB level 3

  • a few not 2 few DYAC!!

stopaffing When I sent this linked video to journalists, they couldn't believe just how obvious the 'Ariix' pyramid fraud is. One even replied 'How the fuck is this legal?', but so far, no clear warning has been published in the media.

To give them a shove in the right direction, I explained to the journalists that they should have banner headlines declaring that 'Ariix' is no different to hundreds of other 'Amway' copy-cats, and that this tpe of cultic fraud is founded on creating the self-perpetuating, non- rational belief that:

Never-ending recruitment + never-ending payments by the recruits = never-ending profits for the recruits.

The 'Ariix' video clearly explains that if you hand over $100 each month and recruit 4 people to do the same, then you will only get back your $100 + $1.25. In typical crack-pot Ponzi theory, you will only earn money if your 4 $100 per month 'Ariix' recruits each recruit 4 more $100 per month 'Ariix' recruits, who each recruit 4 more, etc. ad infinitum.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 08:44

Oooooh - a 'power line'. That's different language I think? Wink

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 08:49

Only, of course, there's no such thing as 'ad infinitum' when there's only a finite number of people in the whole world. Any mathematicians out there who'd care to work out how long it might take you to run out of people? Grin (Thinking on the old basis of keeping on doubling the grains of rice in your hand.)

BSintolerant · 13/02/2016 08:57

Thank you for the breakdown Ray.

Whoever starts Thread 8 can maybe add that to the title?

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 10:01

cozietoesie Although it doesn't seem possible that any public company could be allowed openly to peddle these puerile lies, for decades, 'Herbalife's' own fraudulent documentation has actually stated:

'This is the INFINITE PAYOUT! Between the Royalty Override Check and the Infinite Production Bonus there are no limits to the amount of money you can earn!!'

See page two.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 10:04

They should have tried peddling their wares to Socrates. He'd have laughed his head off. Grin

assets.factsaboutherbalife.com/content/uploads/2015/08/13220137/Supervisor-to-Be-or-Not-to-Be.pdf

'Once you understand this you will also realize that there on no limits on your income potential. Why? because you can sign as many as you want and they can sign as many as they want and you get paid infinitely on everybody that becomes a Supervisor.'

Page six.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 10:06

What I don't understand is why people sign up to this as consultants/stylists/ whatever other stupid name that's coined when people can just buy the stuff direct off the company websites.

I guess at least jamberry has some notion that you might need or want someone to come to your house and stick the things to your nails for you (but I still think you'd be more likely to call in some kind of mobile beautician service for that, rather than a MLM bot). But why on earth would anyone want or need someone to come round to them to show them how to use overpriced costume jewellery or aloe gloop? Surely, even if you wanted the stuff, you'd just order your necklace/toothpaste/bottle of supplement pills off the bloody website and get on with it.

SuffolkNWhat · 13/02/2016 10:07

I was added to a Jamberry group about a year ago as I was the perfect target (I do my own gel nails etc)

I saw pretty quickly that the quality was shocking, much more quality items available at much lower prices elsewhere.

I'll be amazed if they become as prevalent as FL et al

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 10:12

By which, I guess I mean I don't understand the business model at all. Surely if you wanted to build a pyramid of bots, it makes not sense to undercut they by offering a route to buy your overpriced stuff direct from the company instead, without the need to go through layers of bots.

Of course, it just shows how totally unethical the companies are. They are making sure that they win every time. Either non-bots buy overpriced stuff direct off their website, or their bots buy the stuff themselves and the money is funnelled up the hierarchy. The fuckers at the top win regardless.

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 10:15

cozietoesie When I first began writing about 'MLM,' I found that even my neighbour's 10 year old son found the idea of adults believing in financial infinity, hysterically funny. He'd been learning how to play chess and he'd read the legendary story of how 'Lord Krishna' gave the game of chess to a King, but then tricked the King into agreeing to reward him by placing one grain of rice on the first square of the chess board, and two on the second, four on the third, etc.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 10:15

With such companies, I'd maybe hold fire until their business model is fully understood - or they've been taken over once the name is established. New doesn't mean better.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 10:17

Yes indeed - the grains of rice. Wink

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 10:21

Actually, looking at the FL website I get taken to, in the corner it says something about 'your forever business owner krompic petar' in the top corner. Presumably that's who would benefit from my online sale (not that I'm buying anything, but potentially).

In which case, how does krompic get selected to benefit from my visit to the website rather than another so-called business owner?

Eyespying · 13/02/2016 10:23

cozietoesie Notice how in the allegorical Indian legend of the grains of rice, the King's debt is infinite, in the sense that he agreed to pay it off gradually, knowing that it could never ever be repaid.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 10:26

In contrast, Stella and dot's website appear to let people shop without attributing the sale to a bot. There's a 'find your stylist' option, but it lets you shop without having one.

However, there's no way of knowing whether that means the profit goes direct to the company (as in a normal transaction) or whether it is in fact channeled through a particularly favoured bot somewhere in the pyramid (presumably near the top).

It wouldn't have occurred to me to question this, had I not noticed the assigned bot on the FL website.

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 10:47

Amazon and eBay also appear to have assignees selling. (How they continue to obtain product from the company when their name is up in lights on banned websites is quite beyond me. Smile)
