That is also odd.

But this is actually Foreverliving.com/uk so there must be do any sanctions bot favouring.

It's particularly bad given that these chosen bots are probably benefitting from the work of less exalted bots. Say, for example, I actually wanted some of that nasty drinking gunge. I'd presumably only know that I did because a local bot had introduced me to it. But, because I'm busy and frankly don't want to deal with a middle(wo)man, I'm unlikely to call up the local bot and have her sell it to me. No, I'd probably just google the company and buy it off the website. So favoured bit gets all the benefit of my purchase, while local bot who did the work gets nothing. She doesn't even get her usual meagre pickings that come from me phoning her and getting her to sell me some.

That is shit even by MLM standards.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 11:00

The me of that second line has been autocorrected into gibberish. It should say that it must be company sanctioned bot favouring.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 11:00

I give up...

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus Again this chapter of the fairy story has been copied from 'Amway'.

Faced with the threat of closure, 'Amway UK Ltd.' even aquired a store in London to make it appear that it is an innocent retail company. The 'Amway' bosses have pulled the same trick in India - after the CEO of 'Amway India Enterprises' was arrested for fraud by well-informed police officers in Anhdra Pradesh.

Ah, so it's to lend a veneer of being a legitimate business selling actual products...of course.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 11:17

That amway website news page includes something about amway and 'the fight against childhood'. Not childhood anything, just childhood.

Presumably amway is actually leading the fight against childhood by financially destroying families.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus Exactly, it has been child's play for 'MLM' racketeers to create (what appears to be) concrete evidence that lawful retailing has been regularly occurring. The 'Amway' London store was itself an attempt to obstruct justice in order to continue to commit fraud elsewhere, because had 'Amway UK Ltd.' been closed by the UK High Court, the entire 'Amway' racket world-wide would have been threatened.

These smokescreen 'MLM' stores are part of an overall pattern of ongoing major racketeering activity.

'If you tell a big enough lie and keep repeating it, eventaully people will come to accept it as the truth.'

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 11:23

That should actually read 'Fight against childhood malnutrition' to be scrupulously fair,

What an unfortunate management oversight though. Grin (Or perhaps their IT section aren't such 'team players' as management thought?)

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 11:27

But, even being fair, it clearly doesn't say childhood malnutrition. It says the fight against childhood.

That's a stupendous oversight. Grin

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 11:29

One gets you ten that it will be changed very shortly indeed. Smile

Melaw21 · 13/02/2016 11:33

In the nicest and most friendly possible way, as I like and respect you all, Please please... More Lighthearted!!! At least try! Im losing the will to live with these threads, and this effort is going to die a death soon if people keep posting up drudgery... If you have long winded points to make (which I cannot deny are important or relevant) please set up a new thread or maybe even a blog post so you can link to the longwinded posts for others to evaluate in their own time... Please??? we have to keep the humour alive and keep the discussion light otherwise people will take one look at these threads and walk right out again, possibly lost to the cause forever. It was the light relief that got me onto these posts aswell as many others and that is what keeps me fighting the good fight, which in turn helps to address the serious dark elements and keep people away from these cults keep it simple and easy to understand and empathise with, please people!

Melaw21 · 13/02/2016 11:34

Sorry, had to delete a few parentheses to make my post valid, hope it still makes sense...

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 13/02/2016 11:41

Surely the fight against childhood is lighthearted?

I took a screenshot on purpose.

DH just told me that his (very foolish) aunt and uncle got caught up with Amway when he was a kid. They lost a lot of money and (further) alienated family members with all their nonsense. MIL had previously told me they'd been caught up in a pyramid scheme, but I hadn't been aware it was amway.

Interestingly, they are currently caught up in an actual religious cult (and one that demands a share of your income, etc). It's all deeply worrying but they appear to be just exactly the kind of people who are drawn to this sort of stuff. They never rise up from exploited to exploiter within these things of course because they just don't seem to have any critical faculties.

SuffolkNWhat · 13/02/2016 11:44

According to my JP bot the restrictions of health claims do not apply to JP and the "franchise" is not MLM, she's trying to insinuate my health issues (CFS/ME) can be cured with JP

cozietoesie · 13/02/2016 11:51

Not everyone appreciates all of the posts on these threads and - as I think I said once - I like that. Here, we're allowed to disagree with each other and to have potentially jarring views. Smile

From my own viewpoint, I need some reflective posts to balance the lighthearted ones. To remind me where this has all come from or is trying to go. People can read the more sombre ones or not, though, as they feel inclined.

I hear what has been said though. Smile

Melaw21 · 13/02/2016 11:56

cosie. Balance is the keyword. And it has well and truly tipped the wrong way to be fair, just my opinion but I am out of here soon if things dont change, its boring now and more irritating than the bots themselves. I dont think its going anywhere or achieving anything, but that is just my opinion and I am only 1 person.

Melaw21 · 13/02/2016 11:57

Additionally, this thread was started with 'lighthearted' in the title, there are other reflective, more serious threads for that reason, thats all I am trying to say.
