lastuseraccount123 With little (or no) guidance, MN members have applied common-sense and worked out how this organised criminal (justice-obstructing) technique functions, but regulators and judges have been swallowing this ('honestly, we tried our best to police out distributors, but we're not the police') bullshit, for decades.

It's essentially how the 'Amway' mob dodged closure of their cultic racket in 1979.

ir.herbalife.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=874595

Lately, the 'Herbalife' mob's prime tactic for duping naive and/or corrupt US regulators, has been exactly this. Faced with investigation, they've even employed a former Federal Trade Commissioner, Pamela Jones Harbour, to be the head of their own brand new smokescreen in-house police force Distributor Compliance Dept.

When you try to call this well-paid 'Herbalife' useful idiot, the switch board systematically diverts all calls and you get a PR robot.

That book of guidelines is very interesting isn't it. It's almost as if it's a direct response to our campaign. I've never seen that 'wealth warning' before either

whattheactualfook · 05/02/2016 17:33

Eye sometimes your posts read like my user name!

Less wordy please.

1gorgeousson · 05/02/2016 17:35

I'm appalled at the school report pictures. You sponsor them, you don't own them and have the right to put their personal information on a business Facebook page.

Is there not some sort of tax relief if you give to charity?

rayofhope · 05/02/2016 17:45

Here's a JP one I saw recently.......

whattheactualfook A word of explanation; when you use your own name to challenge 'MLM' rackets, and their armies of attorneys, it is vitally important to express yourself with absolute care and clarity.

Hi, I've been following these threads and learned a lot. I have fl, younique, nu skin and actiderm bots. The fl are by far the worst. After the secretive announcements re starting their own businesses I was disappointed that they hadn't started creative original ventures but were flogging cheap looking crap. I initially felt insulted that they were trying to exploit our friendship by harassing and guilt trip me into buying their tat but now I feel sad. Having read this I realise they've been exploited.

lastuseraccount123 · 05/02/2016 18:03

EYes but we're on a chat thread and you're under "EYES". It turns people off, you know this, you doing much better but still - please shorten them. please. PLEASE

keeptheaspidistra · 05/02/2016 18:09

I thought one of my fl bots was doing really well. She'd been rewarded with a stay in a castle. I thought she was being pampered in a posh hotel. I now know it's someone's house (tower with a naff glass extension) and every Tom dick and aloe Harry has stayed there. She's been promoted twice so I figured that she was achieving in the world of sales. The fact that you can be "promoted" for spending £140 a month on hand soap and shampoo is ridiculous. Every non fl fb post has "hidden" fl advertising/product placement. It's like she's lost her personality. So sad

mumanddad great find. Well the bots have got a challenge complying with this.
Check out typo on p7 under Sharing Posts 4th para - add a new perspective to the law!

sminkypink · 05/02/2016 18:26

well I'm laughing at the new compliance booklet, well done botwatchers.

I've down loaded a ton of training videos and have been watching them. The uberbots basically break a load of those rules and encourage it, stuff such as trawling other peoples friends lists, for instance.
I have not found a single top bots training where they haven't made a medical claim. And they've really gone for it, breaching the cancer act, more than once.

Mootpointer · 05/02/2016 18:26

News flash. CS has removed the post about the two boys from Uganda. You know people the one with their photos and names with no respect to their confidentiality and possibly no permission to post. ( wondering if the charity knows?)

Big up to her Grinseeing the error of her exploitative ways. Credit where credit's due & all that jazz.
I am still watching!

Motorheadmum · 05/02/2016 18:49

Is there anywhere we can keep a file of all the adverts they place on fb and see how many break their own rules! My fl bot had another planning day yesterday but is revving up for the spa day tomorrow... She did try to claim before her snake oils cured her fibromyalgia...

1gorgeousson · 05/02/2016 18:49

Good! She should never have put that information up in the first place.

cozietoesie · 05/02/2016 18:50

Off making supper.

Thanks for that Windy but I still find it difficult to distance the capitalised 'Titanic' from 'rearranging deckchairs'. Perhaps there's a parallel to be drawn?

Motorheadmum · 05/02/2016 18:52

Here are 2 of the 'gems' that my fl bot has posted over the last few days...

Wow! That is an impressive Social Media Policy. Is there a copy of any original policy? Considering the the fact that the "opportunity" is often marketed as spending time on FB / Social media you would expect a fairly fundamental element of the original distribution contract to be regarding advertising. Would the new document be considered a change in contract terms? I am assuming there is some sort of contract!

clarinsgirl · 05/02/2016 19:28

Why does this shit keep popping up? I blame timeless vie #loveyareallyhuns

cozietoesie · 05/02/2016 19:29

If there is a contract, I would suspect that it's either so full of small print that it would take an army of lawyers years to wade through it - or something along the lines of 'I accept everything they throw at me'.
