It's a long time since I was a BOT. I am still embarrassed about having been one.

If this amount of information had been available back then (before the days of internet-for-all) I hope I'd have been wise enough to say no thanks.
Keep up the good work :)

throwingpebbles · 04/02/2016 11:34

Oh dear, just seen that video. I just wanted to reach into it and give ECv2 a hug and say she is amazing for wanted to better herself but FL is not the answer!

throwingpebbles · 04/02/2016 11:35

temptation you shouldn't feel embarrassed! Just angry with the organisation that ensnared you! Xx

cozietoesie · 04/02/2016 11:39

Yes - don't feel embarrassed. You were a victim and then you got out.

I think people here realise the inner strength that that required and have nothing but respect for you. Smile

thetemptationofchocolate · 04/02/2016 11:47

It helps a bit that afterwards the organisation was investigated for fraud :)

And our so-ethical uplines ended up fronting an online gambling site!
I hope it's given me the skills to recognise a shyster again.

I wonder who her unline is, who signed up this vulnerable, depressed lady Angry.

eyespying that my forever biz link takes me to a page not found. Is it me or has she taken it down I wonder?

Norma27 · 04/02/2016 12:35

Had a few bots try to recruit me this week. Just invited them to like the TV page and funnily enough they are not happy wit me! Ha ha! Apparently so much copying and pasting along with many inaccuracies! Unlike what they post then!

Keep up the great work everyone. Cannot wait for the house of cards to eventually collapse xx

Patzy85 · 04/02/2016 13:04

Norma - I actually think it's about to collapse a lot sooner than we could have imagined.

Timeless Vie, Eyes blog and these threads are blowing it apart at the seems.

My bots are all now doing the fit1, it looks like the most miserable diet I've ever seen!

I also just realised why so many of them have won big CC prizes recently.... The bot (fairly new) who ensnared them all is desperate to make supervisor. She obviously needed to make up the CCs. Hmm

Latest from my bot:

Argi + described as the best Arginine supplement he had seen in the market by Nobel prize winner Dr. Ferid Murad MD - Ph.D. Can't get better than that really 👍😄💚💚💚 ‪#‎argi‬ ‪#‎foreverliving‬ ‪#‎activealoe‬ ‪#‎argininesupplement‬

cozietoesie · 04/02/2016 13:11

Nothing wrong with copying and pasting - it's what you C&P that's critical. Wink

Patzy85 · 04/02/2016 13:17

Geordie - pardon my French but what the f!!! Is Argi and why do they all care about it so much? I have never heard of it in my life.

Norma27 · 04/02/2016 13:25

Patzy_ I really hope it is close to collapsing. Can't wait to see what my old friend NH has to say then. I am not brave enough to message her at the moment tho as we still have other mutual friends.

Next time this bot copies and pastes I will have to point it out to her. As long as she doesn't block me first!

Truth- well done for getting out. I am inspired by those of you on here who are brave enough to start exposing them x

cozietoesie · 04/02/2016 13:28

It's an FL supplement and one which they're all excited about because they appear to have found a tame Nobel prize-winning scientist to endorse it. (If you read the ecstatic blurbs.) I do so hope that his background is squeaky clean.

sminkypink · 04/02/2016 13:49

its a food supplement that you most likely don't need as you are probably already getting it in your diet - a bacon sandwich would probably give you enough of it for feels sake!

Wikipedia says:
Animal sources
dairy products (e.g., cottage cheese, ricotta, milk, yogurt, whey protein drinks), beef, pork (e.g., bacon, ham), gelatin, poultry (e.g. chicken and turkey light meat), wild game (e.g. pheasant, quail), seafood (e.g., halibut, lobster, salmon, shrimp, snails, tuna)
Plant sources
wheat germ and flour, lupins, buckwheat, granola, oatmeal, peanuts, nuts (coconut, pecans, cashews, walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pinenuts), seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower), chickpeas, cooked soybeans, Phalaris canariensis (canaryseed or alpiste)

You have to admire the ability of mlms to repackage, market and sell things back to people that they are getting already at little or no cost to them.

Its added value with bells on!

NickAngel · 04/02/2016 13:51

Hi, following for threads now but I've no bots or come into contact with FL etc so I've nothing to offer...
I only popped on as I'm intrigued by the L-Arginine being sold as a supplement. Isn't it body building powder? That was sold to help erectile problems??

sminkypink · 04/02/2016 14:00

its an amino acid, yep, it's sold to body builders. Yes there are claims online re. it helping erectile dysfunction. But we can easily get amino acids in our diet by eating the right foods. You can see from the list I posted above that that's not gonna be difficult.
So it's not like it's necessary , but no mlm products are necessary. It's just how their marketing/bullshit machine operates, by choosing one random thing and repackaging it and selling it as a miracle cure-all.

sminkypink · 04/02/2016 14:15

There's a lot of supplements sold by mlms and health food shops where there's not much medical proof that they work, for instance all those supplements sold for joint care (glucosamine and chronditin) have now been clinically trialled and there's no real evidence that they work, at all.
You may as well flush Forever Freedom down the bog, or flush a couple of tenners down there every fortnight, it'll be as much use for the health of your joints.
A one time purchase of a £2.50 yoga app which I follow daily for a few minutes has done more for my health than any supplements I've ever bought.
And the fact that Marcus Leach has obviously been training non stop and eating very healthily has absolutely nothing to do with how he looks now, it was the Argi wot dunnit of course. ;-)

Lovewineandchocs · 04/02/2016 14:20

New training has been introduced in FLP Ireland-called B.O.T training (block of 10) lol. It's like they know....😀
