I have seen links to articles about this guy on so many bots' pages recently.

eyes Everything we need is hiding in plain sight!
Found this little gem on FLP's YouTube so feel free to trawl thru the other stuff. If there's one thing I know it's that the bots lurve filming everything they do.
Be assured there'll be other diamonds clips online.

Eyespying · 01/02/2016 19:59

Mootpointer You have probably already guessed that this particularly effective trick has been pulled countless times. I've got virtually identical thought-stopping propaganda videos from countries all around the world, and for some reason I completely missed collecting the one from the UK.

e.g. This is French Employment Secretary and MLM useful idiot, Laurent Wauquiez, appearing to support 'MLM' cultic racketeering at a thought-stopping event hosted by La Fédération de la Vente Directe in 2010.

Eyespying · 01/02/2016 20:12

Mootpointer All the usual dissimulated cultic rackets (like 'FLP', 'Amway,' etc.) are to be found under the banner of the 'French Direct lying Selling Association,* and there are also entirely lawful enterprises on the list.

Loving all this research! Would love to be a fly on the wall in some of the Bot HQs at the minute - perhaps TV could flog some super special Parslai Magnets for that inevitable laptop data purge.

I don't know any FL bots (I don't think) it is / was all Juice Plus round here. They had a very special guest at their UK HQ opening:

The "business" is now referred to as a franchise.

For the FL & other MLM bots moving to Ariix will be same old same old - 28 day challenges, 90 day game plans, upcoming trip to Las Vegas, inane FB posts, photos of laptops and glasses of wine, vision boards (not one of which features a picture of Sam Heughan/Aiden Turner/Richard Armitage cuddling a puppy - where's their ambition!!) everyone in their team will be beautiful babes really making a difference to the health and wellbeing of their customers whilst building a great future for their family ..... all part time too!!!

Ariix had a "big launch" at the end of last year - the promotion poster is above - note the 3rd line in the second paragraph on the right.

Omg my ex JP bot is always on about 'the amazing' James Lavelle, this is the 'company' she is now involved in!

prettyusefulsometimes Almost 3 years ago, I posted an article explaining the psychology of 'MLM' rackets hiding in plain sight and standing next to useful idiots. In it, I cited a BBC article which clearly demonstrates that the human mind can be easily deceived simply by changing the context in which we see things.

Pretty - great find!

POSITION YOURSELF BEFORE MOMENTUM HITS

But I thought there was no reason to worry about there being other distributors? LOL

My bots upline are in a very love bombing type mood of late. All:

Your the best.
No your the best.
OMG u r hun.

ITS YOU'RE, BOSS BABES! Jesus.

One has won a Clean 9 and another has won a make up by Sonya set. Apparently because they're doing so well. And don't they just love telling everyone how well they're doing! (They started 5 weeks ago and have 20 people on their Facebook page - they must have about 8 billion £s by now)

sminkypink · 01/02/2016 20:49

they say, 'POSITION YOURSELF BEFORE MOMENTUM HITS'

I say, take your place at the pointy end of the pyramid so you can rob everyone at the bottom.

What lovely, lovely, people they are.

Eyespying · 01/02/2016 20:54

sminkypink You have a talent for decrypting the 'MLM' enigma code.

sparkleyes · 01/02/2016 20:59

I bought some overpriced partylite candles two Christmases ago. Today I got an email inviting me to build the life of my dreams....selling candles!

sminkypink · 01/02/2016 21:18

eyespying it's too easy! The whole thing is so fragile, so transparent. This new mlm is something else though, extra batshit therefore extra dangerous.

sparkleyes · 01/02/2016 21:21

The jumping from one MLM to another just shows up the whole scam for what it is

KenDoddsDadsDog · 01/02/2016 21:23

My MLM BOT has closed her forever living. Upon enquiry the tax man caught up.

MrGrumpy01 · 01/02/2016 21:34

I got some partylite candles. 3yrs on they are all on free cycle. Very overpriced which is how they make the money. Someone local to me is doing quite well by all accounts (but also has other income streams)

Eyespying · 01/02/2016 21:36

sminkypink You've also got a talent for smelling danger. I'm not going to show you certain 'Ariix' related links, because they risk scrambling your brain. Last year, I was contacted by agitated character claiming to be a victim from outside the UK and who has posted some truly incomprehensible homemade videos on You-tube. This victim kept calling me and telling me the most extraordinary things, but then he vanished. I'm still not sure if he was for real.

cozietoesie · 01/02/2016 21:38

KenDodds

That's the thing. The Revenue don't even need to give you an accurate bill - just putting you through the hoops is enough.

SocksRock · 01/02/2016 21:39

I once got a lovely invite to a birthday party for my friend's daughter and son (2 years apart, but same week birthday). Thought how lovely. Got there, and the men had a BBQ in the back garden while the kids played on the bouncy castle. The women were hearded into a room and forced to coo over Partylite candles. Despite my best efforts I managed to win some in a raffle and ended up having to give them away as I was pregnant at the time and even having them in the house made me nauseous, they were that vile smelling.

Seriously though, who uses a child's birthday party to sell overpriced candles. I then ran out of petrol on the way home and had to phone my dad and ask him to pay the garage over the phone on his card as I had left my wallet at home. Which didn't improve my mood AT ALL.

I digress. This was 6 years ago and I still remember it with a sense of outrage

cozietoesie · 01/02/2016 21:40

Don't believe anyone unless you've known them from birth Eye - and even then, take a large pinch of salt and a clove of garlic.

Eyespying · 01/02/2016 21:52

cozietoesie Your preaching to the well and truly converted.

Joking apart, one of the chronic psychological deterioration symptoms commonly exhibited by ex-cult adherents, is a total inability to trust anyone, or to form intimate relationships. I've had contact with several ex Bots who have gone from one extreme to the other.

cozietoesie · 01/02/2016 22:10

Retaining - or, perhaps, rediscovering - balance is surely a grave problem. I have such respect for those people who have managed to leave an MLM.

prettyusefulsometimes · 01/02/2016 22:22

Socksrock I didn't get wined and dined (!) just a leaflet about "magic beans" thrust under my runny nose with the implication I wasn't looking after myself or my child adequately and a year later I'm still fuming about it Grin

Strong the Laws of Attraction tonight are - the Ariix promotion poster has reappeared on FB today for an event in the town near me in a couple of weeks. Rather than a looming mountain, this time it uses an image of a pretty girl laughing in a meadow (along with that creepy logo; the one that if it appeared in a sci-fi / horror film you'd shout don't touch it! Run! )

If anyone reading is in Farnborough Wednesday, Southend Thursday who may be interested in weight loss, better skin, additional income or a portal to an alternate universe pop along Grin Grin
