hey everyone, I am new to here. ashamed to say I was sucked in/persuaded to join forever living by a mum from the school our kids go to. At first I thought it would be like Avon (which I am a rep for) but my god now that I know how cult like it is I need to get out! I'm not comfortable with pestering people to sign up or forcing over priced products on my friends and family.

Patzy85 · 27/01/2016 13:28

Jazmine - I think most people are like you having being completely miss sold what it all entails, hence the drop out rates. Good for you for not being blind to what this scheme is and wanting to stop.

M0biusgeek · 27/01/2016 13:29

hi Jazmine!

you're in the right place then. Stick with us, we will save you :-)

Just take your time to read back and you might also want to read Merchants of Deception which pretty much covers the long & short of it all in one real-life account. www.transgallaxys.com/~emerald/files/MerchantsOfDeception.pdf

just don't spend any more money with them in the meantime. xx

jazmine25 · 27/01/2016 13:35

thanks for the quick replies ladies! I really appreciate it. I can't believe how brain washed these people are, my 'upline' told me the aloe gel could cure my depression in time and get me off my antidepressants! unbelievable! I will have a look at the links, thank you! x

sminkypink · 27/01/2016 13:42

your upline is breaking the law, Jazmine.

I'm not able to read that sorry. I hadn't worded that properly sorry, i'll start again. my upline was at 'success day' on saturday and a lady there doing a testimonial said the aloe gel had cured her depression and my upline said the same might work for me. still not a great statement to be making to someone with mental health issues i'm sure x

headsshouldersbarestbum · 27/01/2016 13:52

Lets try this again.....
The attached photo originally appeared on a twitter feed to do with travel.

However a bot on my fb is using it as one of her 'inspirational' pictures. And having a look at her profile it seems like she has just stuck motivational pictures into google and lifted the lot.
And I still wont be buying her stuff. If I wanted aloe vera slime, I would introduce the plant in my bathroom to my hand blender.

Marking place

Wow the claim that aloe can cure depression?!

Apart from anything in pretty sure the pharmaceutical industry would have jumped on that years ago if it were true. Nope, they left it for fl to jump on cos it's bollocks.

jazmine25 · 27/01/2016 13:57

I can read it now thanks. that's just utter nonsense! regardless of how me make our money we all have to pay bills!

jazmine25 · 27/01/2016 13:58

yeah i was gobsmacked when she said that! they really will say anything to get you to sign up and then keep you buying the products. I like the suggestion about putting your aloe plant in the blender Grin same results for far cheaper surely Wink

Eyespying · 27/01/2016 14:01

jazmine25 Thankfully, you have seen through this before you got in too deep. You might already have discovered that a significant number of 'FLbots' confess to having been depressed, or suffering from other common psychological problems, at the time they were recruited. Although 'FLP' can seem to have helped them, they are in a dangerously euphoric state which is magnified when they all get together.

This chilling American network televison documentary (from 2003) is about 'Amway/Quixtar,' but it could equally have been made about 'FLP' or any one of dozens of other 'MLM' cultic rackets. The author of Merchants of Deception, Eric Sheibeler, features in the programme.

Thanks for the new thread. I'm intrigued by all this & adore reading the famous Shill pages it's truly eye opening & jaw dropping Shock

FannyFanakapan · 27/01/2016 14:46

anyone heard of My Showcase? Another one of these? My FB friend is hosting an evening and touts it as selling make up and supplements.... who knows

rayofhope · 27/01/2016 15:02

Welcome jazmine ex-flbot here too. People are seeing the light. A lot of the top ones in the UK claim to have bought their big houses but they're all renting them.

I wonder if they're worried that we're still on their group pages watching what's going on from the inside.

I saw one a few weeks ago on other groups I'm in, subtly trying to recruit by saying how wonderful her life is, then people ask her what she does. Admin had to step in (nothing to do with me but was pleased to see)

I was told this was a business you could fit into the little pockets of free time, but reality is very different once you've signed up, with all the webinars you're expected to attend. They apparently know if you sign up for the webinar and then don't attend.

headshoulder another few to add to your list is nuskin, actiderm, it works, tlc (total life changes)
