jazmine I really wanted to understand the marketing plan before recruiting so that when people asked me questions I didn't stumble over what I was telling them. I was told by my upline not to worry about understanding it just to start working my business straight away. I also wanted to know all about the products too. I was told to get on the training and get to success days but that's not always possible.
The more questions I asked, that I started to doubt things. The one that really stuck with me was that once you have a manager in your downline you have to do 12cc per month outside that leg to be paid on it. Now that can be from anyone else up to an assistant manager but shit that's a lot if your team members aren't doing 4cc's per month. Plus it gets very confusing with how many to do to hit chairmans bonus, it's not as simple as doing 1500cc in a year.
I also found it hard to contact people about the business, I felt rejected when people said no and found that side of things really difficult. I certainly didn't keep going back to them to get a yes. I was told to 'go for no' as the more no's you get the closer you are to yes.
In webinars we were told never to post anything negative on fb (even if you're having a bad day) as why would someone want to join your team if you're not positive about life and how great it was. Also to make your posts about your lifestyle and not about the products (but subtle product placement was good too)
patsy the 1cc on your ID no, they say is so that there is product moving through your business and shows that it's not a pyramid scheme. That minimum 1cc doesn't have to be just what you use (as that's £159 per month) so if a customer wants a c9 that counts towards it too. But on the other side of the coin we're told that we should be using 0.5-1cc per month ourselves. We're also trained that putting the 1cc in at the start of the month is good planning so you know it's done and you can concentrate on recruiting for the rest of the month.
I remember a webinar by AL said that she got herself to lots of baby groups just so she could meet other mums but said she did it just for her business.
God what an essay!
