Do they have to pay for their own flights to Jo-berg too?

ScarlettInSpace · 27/01/2016 21:07

If FL own the resorts they are also in the tourism business with brainwashed bots as willing customers.

I'm the second vid she says.. I know we are going to achieve our goals, but only if we help others.

So she must get that it's a pyramid scheme. But what, she's doesn't care? The mind boggles.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 27/01/2016 21:17

jazmine I really wanted to understand the marketing plan before recruiting so that when people asked me questions I didn't stumble over what I was telling them. I was told by my upline not to worry about understanding it just to start working my business straight away. I also wanted to know all about the products too. I was told to get on the training and get to success days but that's not always possible.

The more questions I asked, that I started to doubt things. The one that really stuck with me was that once you have a manager in your downline you have to do 12cc per month outside that leg to be paid on it. Now that can be from anyone else up to an assistant manager but shit that's a lot if your team members aren't doing 4cc's per month. Plus it gets very confusing with how many to do to hit chairmans bonus, it's not as simple as doing 1500cc in a year.

I also found it hard to contact people about the business, I felt rejected when people said no and found that side of things really difficult. I certainly didn't keep going back to them to get a yes. I was told to 'go for no' as the more no's you get the closer you are to yes.

In webinars we were told never to post anything negative on fb (even if you're having a bad day) as why would someone want to join your team if you're not positive about life and how great it was. Also to make your posts about your lifestyle and not about the products (but subtle product placement was good too)

patsy the 1cc on your ID no, they say is so that there is product moving through your business and shows that it's not a pyramid scheme. That minimum 1cc doesn't have to be just what you use (as that's £159 per month) so if a customer wants a c9 that counts towards it too. But on the other side of the coin we're told that we should be using 0.5-1cc per month ourselves. We're also trained that putting the 1cc in at the start of the month is good planning so you know it's done and you can concentrate on recruiting for the rest of the month.

I remember a webinar by AL said that she got herself to lots of baby groups just so she could meet other mums but said she did it just for her business.

God what an essay!

Ray what a funny world - the very things they advise people to do to make the business seem more 'appealing' are the very things that turn them off.

Thanks ray. On one training video someone posted I remember someone saying that you should replace every possible household item with a FL alternative as it shows commitment to the brand and also it reminds you of what you're working to achieve every time you see that logo.

I'm intrigued as to how going for a no is a good thing, how does that work? Did you find many people actually wanting to buy the products? And if so, what did they want to buy?

That video is excellent, well done to the bot watcher who made it!

Jasmine25, I'm an ex flbot. I only did flp very much part time with the belief that in time I could possibly match my full time earnings. The plan was to then work on flp full time but working half the hours I do now as the brochure said. I felt if I had more time to spend with my family I would be very happy.
I began to realise that those earning even just an average amount of money were putting in a lot more work than I thought.
It seemed to make it work you had to put more hours in than the average working week.
I was getting bored of the same old same old and knew I wouldn't miss it if I left.
I was already happy and successful. I just loved the idea of having more time.

Great thread

rayofhope · 27/01/2016 21:59

patsy I was told the same. Was told to put all other products in a black plastic bag and put them in a cupboard while I tried all the forever ones. I was told you will like most of them but if you decided you don't get on with one then you could revert back to the old cheaper product (if needed) but again on the other side of the coin, I was told that why would someone buy from me if I don't have the hand soap in my bathroom etc. Mr Tesco doesn't buy from Mr Sainsbury's

God you'll all be sick of me posting tonight Wink

M0biusgeek · 27/01/2016 22:03

Just watched it again Grin The cut to the last clip makes me lol the most. "GET RID OF YOUR KIDS..DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO"

She also looks like she's aged 10years by the end.. Baby spice to old spice #mustbethealoe

penny1ane · 27/01/2016 22:09

I remember being at a sizzle once at my main uplines house.
I went to use the bathroom and found a regular bar of soap in the sink.
I remember thinking "hmm, I'm sure she said to replace all our products with flp ones?"
I should have sussed it then. She had been lying to me all that time!!!
The clue was there all along with the bloody soap :-)

Teddy1970 · 27/01/2016 22:09

I kind of feel (a tiny bit) sorry for one of my bots, she joined FL last year and at first her F/B page was full of inspirational rubbish, you know, lots of hashtags, the usual, and now the positive thinking posts have gradually got less and less, she's an ex colleague of mine and was always a bit on the lazy side, she did that Scentsy rubbish last year and that didn't work out, you would have thought she'd learnt her lesson with these schemes. Her Forever Living F/B page hasn't been updated for ages now so just waiting for her to jack it in and join the next con that comes along, I think she's looking for an easy way to make loads of money but it's not going to happen with these cons.
