Oh, I don't mind being wrong! Just not much of an accountant... So where are these massive cheques that have been waving around? They must be somewhere...

Patzy85 · 28/01/2016 22:51

I'm sure someone said that when you go from being a sole trader to a limited company, there is some form of transaction between the two companies? Could the £300k be what she valued her sole trader business as?

Is the other one on yt?

whatsthatcomingoverthehill · 28/01/2016 23:49

So they're going to try going for students too. Apparently the bot thinks this is a 'phenomenal opportunity'. After all, what else do students have to spend their loan on?

Sorry I was on the original thread (and I'm about to make a cup of tea and catch up!) but had to post this..

Particularly annoying Younique bot facebook status: Sooooo my so called best male friend Scott seems to think my comment of being a #futuremascaramillionaire is a laughing matter! Just thought I would document this so I can show him this when I'm a Black Status presenter and travelling to America with Claire and Katie lol X

Reply (not Scott): Don't you have to be at the top of the pyramid to be a millaionaire with these things??

Bot: No Hun.. I'm in Network Marketing not a pyramid scheme hun x

Bot First Recruit (#freshmeat): HAHA pyramid scheme!! Gets me every time 😂😂

Its bloody GOLD. Grin I really want to comment!

This thread is the best read on the net right now. Keep up the good work!

IAmNotDarling · 29/01/2016 07:04

Kanga that £300k will be the 'goodwill' of her sole trade being transferred to the company. This called transfer of goodwill on incorporation. It's an intangible asset which must be written down over its useful life. So the £300k is likely to be the value of her customer list (contact/downline). That means that the company owes to £300k and there will be a corresponding debt in the balance sheet to her that she can be repaid out of the profits of the business. It also means that she essentially won't be drawing a salary from her business - that is subject to PAYE or dividends as all the money out will be repayment for asset that she put in made by her. She would be liable to capital gains tax but entrepreneurs' relief is applied. BUT from last year there is a change in the tax rules to tackle this sort of wheeze.

It's bollocks though £300k goodwill over 5 years. Whichever accountant has put that in is shite.

stopfaffing · 29/01/2016 07:31

Moot Bob was here at the Glasgow SECC last weekend for a "success day" :(. Watch out Scots!

Kanga59 · 29/01/2016 07:58

I disagree. no accountant would put goodwill of £300k in without LOTS of evidence. its cash paid to a third party (easily evidenced) for rights to something or other - probably a big down line. It was originally being amortised over 20y but the following year this was amended to 5y! just shows how worthless it was.

If you exclude the intangible, her net assets are actually net liabilities which means her company is insolvent. bad times

what do you do for work Darling?

sminkypink · 29/01/2016 08:22

This is all the more amusing/sad as I have been studying the Forever Living Ad Pack. gallery.foreverliving.com/gallery/GBR/download/distrib/Adpack2May2013.pdf

Its one big ole ass-covering exercise. There is quite a bit in there about only being able to make claims about big incomes by using actual examples of real people who have those incomes.

But how on earth can you make those claims when any 'wealth' is not from Forever? It's either debt, the momey is earned by other activities, or these people were already well off or a mixture of the three.

It must be why these 'business training' limited companies that the bots set up tend to distance themselves from the mothership (whilst being totally in on the scam). I note they all say the same sort of thing, though, 'six figure income builder.' 'Coaching six figure incomes'. Things like that.

They may as well be running unicorn riding schools, it's about as real!

That video was deleted within 10 mins of it being mentioned on this thread, some seriously worried people out there. If they have done nothing wrong why are they removing the videos??
