dreich because they know they have something to hide. They know they are doing something wrong. Delete, block, sweep it under the carpet, deny, pretend, fabricate, hype. Any more?

Mootpointer · 29/01/2016 08:50

dreic think you're right there
try this one for size

Failing that, people pop along to Forever living products (uk) youtube channel, plenty to see on there.

moot the prices and cc were adjusted in July too. I think that's another reason why I started to step away. It used to be that 1cc was apron £144 and then they adjusted the cc and put the prices up and suddenly it was £159 for a cc. The products are already expensive and yet I had to tell my customers they were going up even more.

That's interesting that the videos are being removed. They really are watching.

Things have changed since I joined. It used to be that we had the advisory board who we could approach about the products. There's a doctor, vet, nutritionist and beauty/sports consultant. You could also phone or email HO if you had a question about a potential customer using a product ie was it ok for a diabetic to do the C9, but this has changed and now we are told not to approach the board but to get the customer to check with their doctor.

Also a lot of the flyers we were allowed to use use our hard earned cash to buy all got removed, there was one where dr pete atherton (dr on the advisory board) gave the top ten reasons to drink the gel and also another one for argi+ We're not allowed to use them now so some standards agency is definitely watching Forever.

Q. How did Bot Watchers discover the truth?

A. Because they were looking for it.

Although it hasn't seemed possible to most ill-informed jounalists, the whole of 'FLP' has comprised a vast labyrinth of corporate structures of varying sizes. Their purpose has been to prevent/divert investigation and hide key information from the public, journalists, regulators, etc.

In 'MLM' rackets, key-information, like the money, has only flowed in one direction.

Once you know the above, all the extraordinary facts that Bot Watchers are rapidly uncovering here, were almost 100% predictable.

For decades, each 'MLM' recruit has immediately been taught to maintain his/her own little monopoly of information. On pain of excommunication, a Bot must never say anything 'negative' about his/her activitiy i.e. Bots must never disclose the truth that they have never made a net profit, or that they have never examined any quantifiable evidence proving that any other Bot has made a net-profit.

In the classic '100% positive' game of 'MLM' make-believe, 'negative' information (ie the truth) simply does not exist.

Another person delurking here to say keep up the good work. The idea of FL etc which basically means you have to persuade your friends to buy overpriced rubbish has always made me shudder.

A few thoughts:

Don't get too hung up on Ltds or not. It doesn't really tell you much, because an individual can always have personal wealth or debts in addition to the company. There is no real tax advantage (mind you I would hate to be an accountant or tax adviser to these people - working out any 'profit' must be horrendous). But (as they are finding out) a company means a few things are disclosed to the public. For example, I believe any director has to have their address available on Companies House? So all these 'house moves' should be easy to check up on if they have a directorship registered? I DON'T think it would be a good idea to share anyones address on here, but a quick look, a google streetmap search might call out a few lies.

Have also been looking on ebay at forever products unsurprisingly there are tons of unused products on eBay - the going rate for an unused Clean 9 seems to be £80 (more or less the wholesale price on the brochure put up above) - still can't believe people pay that much!

Have also been trying to understand how it works (I know...). Because I can't see how anyone recruiting can believe what they are doing. I mean - recruiting everyone you come into contact with? It makes no sense 'Hi, I am an amazingly successful businessperson and I want to share this with you' 'Oh, OK, we are in a supermarket and we have just met. So you are telling me you and absolutely everyone else you care about are now on amazing incomes and you just want to spread the love more to random people'...?!

mummyof3girls25 · 29/01/2016 10:16

the mind boggles! I have been cast out by my 'forever friends' for daring to do more research into FL and realising the cult I had become part of Grin seems to me there is absolutely no negativity or questioning allowed. i'm well out of that one! it's just not who I am, constantly pestering people to join and alienating my real friends and family to sell them way over priced and hyped up products, no thanks

Lovewineandchocs · 29/01/2016 10:21

Good morning! I think I'm getting addicted to this thread lol 😀 I'm sat on my sofa in my jammies cos I'm so successful with Forever-oh wait, no, it's cos I have a job and today is one of my days off-which you don't get in Forever as you have to be always "on"! Just looking at ECs FB page-a hand-delivered lunch from Nando's?! Lol u would think someone with a "multiple six figure income" could stretch to a bit more! Wink also saw somewhere in her FB that her son is in daycare all week-#mixedmessages No word from Cloe yet today? Smile

FLhahaha · 29/01/2016 10:22

So then I realised I was trying to understand it the wrong way round, it only makes sense from the top down. Does it go something like this?

I want to set up one of these schemes. So I invent a product (say a shampoo), costs about £5 to make, I say it has a 'retail price' of £50. I advertise for 100 sales people, get them to pay £50 to come to my 'training' and convince them they can sell this shampoo for £50 each, and get them to buy 5 bottles for £200. Say 20 people take up my offer - I have now made £5000 (less expenses) from the training, and £4000 (less cost of £500) from the shampoo. Fine. But it is nearly impossible to sell the shampoo for £50. (I don't care about this because I have already made my profit on it). But some people manage it. So then I have another 'training day' and reward the one person who managed to sell 5 bottles. But this is the devious bit. The profit he or she has made me is £175, and she has made £50 for herself already. But (because I am awash with money from the training and profit from the other sales to would be sales people) I give her/him somewhere close to, or even over that amount. And then everyone else (including the favoured person) believes it is possible to sell for the high price, and the rewards will be huge, not realising if everyone did it I would not be able to give as much as a 'bonus'.

And then I set up a reward scheme for people to 'recruit' meaning essentially more buyers of my shampoo at 5 for £200. And more buyers of my training. And a greater pool of money to reward either shills or diamonds, rather like a lottery.

Is that roughly how it works?

Lovewineandchocs · 29/01/2016 10:24

Is your former up line not speaking to you mummy? just shows how brainwashed they are!

Eyespying · 29/01/2016 10:26

FLhahaha If you really want to undertsand, just try to ignore the thought-stopping 'business' jargon. Cultic groups like 'FLP' are controlled by a self-perpetuating non-rational ritual belief in a form of future Utopian existence, but presented in an updated format to fit the spirit of our times.

All the quantifiable evidence demonstrates that gung-ho FLBots aren't in 'business,' despite their constant repetition of this word. On the contrary, FLBots are de facto slaves - insolvent evangelists spreading the 'Gospel of Prosperity.'

rayofhope · 29/01/2016 10:26

fintan sorry should have added that about 10 mins later her pages were up for the day, so that's what made me think she removed them overnight so people can't comment.

Defo not blocked, I'm good at staying under the radar

Eyespying · 29/01/2016 10:29

FLhahaha

Have you read about the tragicomic origins of the 'MLM' fairy story?

ZigAZigAhh · 29/01/2016 10:29

Another de-lurker just popping in to say I have been avidly reading these threads for the past couple of months and am delighted to see them gathering momentum.

I only have one FL bot - she approached me at our local train station a few months ago with her baby in a frontpack and talked me into agreeing to take her sample basket for a few days (I had never heard of FL before and naively thought that she had created the products herself and was doing some market research before she launched them) - I wasn't overly impressed by the quality but bought a couple of things to be nice. To be fair, she is lovely and is very much focused on the product selling vs recruiting - I have only had one message from her since and that was to let her know if I needed any more of anything (despite me being on mat leave and therefore a prime target for recruitment). Her FB page is very tame - just the odd link to an article about the benefits of aloe but definitely no hashtags or motivational memes. This gives me hope that she hasn't completely bought into the #bossbabe bullshit and might actually get the hell out once she realises she is not making any money...

Fintan · 29/01/2016 10:30

That's what I was a bit worried about, Ray !
ISWYM about taking them down overnight as a precaution.

Fintan · 29/01/2016 10:35

Zig sounds like your bot has settled to be a retailer. At some point she's likely to have a go at recruiting though.

ZigAZigAhh · 29/01/2016 10:42

Fintan oh dear lord...in an eerie turn of events I have just looked at her page again and there is a heap of stuff from a couple of days ago about having had a "lovely lady" join her team Shock I wonder if she was getting pressure from her upline? Oh dear...despite not knowing her very well I do feel sad about this, she is genuinely lovely and I know she was not looking forward to going back to her (very impressive sounding medical) job after mat leave.

Windy0urneckin · 29/01/2016 10:43

Such a rip off. One bot even admitted the price for 30 sachets was ridiculous. Especially since it says you can take two a day...
