One on mine is suggesting young mums on benefits sign up for the www.gov.uk/new-enterprise-allowance

Disgusting as their benefits will get stopped and they will have a loan to pay back considering they will probably not earn a penny yet have promises of thousands!

Eyespying · 14/01/2016 10:37

Saphwoodman - It is disgusting.

If you haven't got the money to join, 'MLM' recruiters are only too willing to advise you how to beg, steal or borrow it. At one time, desperately-poor people in developing, and developed, countries were of little interest to 'MLM' racketeers. In recent years, one of the mains sources of money for poor people to join 'MLM' rackets, has been micro-finance institutions (like Grameen Bank).

sminkypink · 14/01/2016 10:55

yep, my mate here in North London who got drawn into MLMs is from Mauritius. So far her sister back in Mauritius (who really doesn't have a pot to piss in) has done 3 mlms. My mate in North London has so far done Forever Living, Salad Master and Flavon Max. Flavon Max is 'the Polish version of Juice Plus' and therefore because we got a lot of Polish immigrants here in N London, we got a lot of locals sucked in by it.

Toobusytowee · 14/01/2016 11:28

This post on an FLbot's FB page is a bit ironic.

sminkypink · 14/01/2016 11:36

their 'highlight reels' do my nut, I mean, how much posing and selfies? I don't want to see you in your underwear or sweating at the gym. Too much information.

sminkypink · 14/01/2016 11:37

and if another clean 9 er says, 'energy levels through the roof' I'll scream. Are they sure it's not just the caffeine it contains?

Wadingthroughsoup · 14/01/2016 11:42

Yes, that is pretty ironic isn't it?
Their FB pages are highlight reels!

I find the relentless positivity really irritating. One of the things I like most about Brits is our self-effacing nature and ability to laugh at ourselves. I love it when my friends write witty posts about parenting fails/having a shit day/doing or saying something stupid/fucking something up etc. Not because I want to delight in their misfortune but because we all join in with our own tales of woe and embarrassment and then we all laugh at each other and ourselves.

The Flobots are so earnest, I just can't imagine them laughing at themselves at all.

sminkypink · 14/01/2016 12:05

I don't really get selfies, well not to the FLbot extent. My mate, since she started FL can't go anywhere at all, without posting a selfie of her and DP pulling an 'excited' face, sitting in the car. Maybe I'm old, but my eleven year old niece posts stuff like that on Snapchat.

Eyespying · 14/01/2016 12:24

Wadingthroughthesoup

Laughing at 'MLM' is a sure sign that 'MLM' robots have come back to the human world.

Apparently, this Australian guy really was involved in all the 'MLM' rackets he now takes the piss out of in this recent video.

sparkly72 · 14/01/2016 13:23

I'm a nurse - and it rang all the wrong bells as you can imagine. I've been thinking on it overnight how to approach it with her - I don't know her well - but she belongs to a circle of casual friends who I like and don't want to alienate!
I've sent her a pm advising her of my concerns and explained the seriousness of the article and the effect not taking medication can have. If you want to look at her page please pm me and I'll give you a link

Eyespying · 14/01/2016 13:36

Ginormarse and sparkly72

As members of the medical profession in the UK, what do you think of these 'FLP' propaganda videos?

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legal_money_matters/2446930-FL-MLM-Thread-3?pg=20

Perhaps you might like to reply on the other more serious thread? or even PM me.

Ginormarse · 14/01/2016 14:21

eyespying I will have a look at the video's you linked when I get chance and also reply on the other thread.
siwi the advice I would give to a patient about aloe, clean 9 and the fit products is that I would be interested to see some validated proven research to confirm that the products actually make any difference to your health. The idea of being able to detox has been proven to be a total myth but I think someone posted earlier that Clean 9 no longer claims to detox. You will of course lose weight if starve yourself for a few days and drink more fluid but you don't need to buy some expensive powder to do that.

Melaw21 · 14/01/2016 14:23

Haha, I think we can all relate!!! 😂😂😂 enjoy!

flameprincess · 14/01/2016 14:26

Some more beauts from my bot today - notice the absence of 'likes' on the first photo!
