Still continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have an MLM bot of your own then join us and share their claims and content.

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous threads here and here and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

thanks betty.

I had no idea about these threads or the fl stuff. I occasionally see daft stuff on facebook & just ignore it. But what does 'cc' mean please? Someone else asked up thread but I couldn't see the answer. tia

LittleMissStubborn · 28/12/2015 21:19

Cc is all about the payment structure. They use this so apparently it makes it easier for international counterparts to understand how well each other ate doing. In reality it just makes it all harder to understand.

They earn cc's depending on what they do. So they get some for retail but if they recruit someone they get 2. They have to get at least 4 a month so recruiting someone is 'easy' money. They then have to buy so much themselves and by doing so can earn another cc.

These cc's are then converted into their pay. Each cc they achieve they get approx £56.
I think it is cash credits.

LittleMissStubborn · 28/12/2015 21:20

They also get some from what others do in their down line (people they recruited and so forth) but it starts getting a bit headache inducing by that point as it is so difficult to understand.

Willdoitinaminute · 28/12/2015 21:50

I love the Vie site. I'm 'Forever' seeing obnoxious shares on my FB from MLM bots. Will try and screen shot and post a few.

Willdoitinaminute · 28/12/2015 22:02

Gone straight to a great example. Screenshot of the bot who is always popping up most with photo of her' exit 'house. No actual photo of the house and the second one shows a field of yellow Rapeseed in flower. I live just down the road and it hasn't been that warm. It's bloody awful stuff to have growing around you and it is definitely not flowering at the moment!
Plenty of great life affirming bullshit for the blog.

I've just seen yet a thread in Aibu!
Someone worried about their friend being possibly scammed.

Siwi · 28/12/2015 22:27

Oh, I see that it has already been spotted.

bettyberry · 28/12/2015 22:31

Willdoitinaminute haha that has to be one of the best lies that we can prove ever. I've never known rapeseed to flower in December and that level of flowering looks like mid spring/early summer.

sminkypink · 28/12/2015 22:45

my bot posted the 'Emma Cooper rented castle' on her page and implied she had gone to view it to buy next year. Then seemed to forget she'd done it, she was there doing her 'training' a fortnight later. I was like, 'hang on a mo....'

Willdoitinaminute · 28/12/2015 22:50

Her FB site is well worth a visit so full of FL bullshit. Also plenty of other FL bots post on there. I really can't understand how people fall for the whole fairy story. As someone who has run their own professional business for the last 25yrs selling plant extract to friend and family just can't be that profitable. I suppose that you can only make money while your part of the pyramid. There is no intrinsic value to the business so it is worth nothing.

LittleMissStubborn · 28/12/2015 23:05

Nice stock photo of the field. A quick search on tineye tells you all you need to know.

sminkypink · 28/12/2015 23:11

my gosh what a poser she is - good find!

Willdoitinaminute · 28/12/2015 23:28

What a fantastic sight!

AJFsmummy · 28/12/2015 23:35

Its only going to get worse with the detox plans x

Gimlet1984 · 28/12/2015 23:41

From what I've seen the Forever bots are all being trained to heavily recruit now and must be chomping at the bit for January to come round. Prepare for your Facebook to be flooded with New Year resolutions about detoxing and clean 9 and getting your bikini body after Christmas.

Mine is already peddling detox plans...

I may have been ranting how Detox really works with your liver, kidneys and bowels..

'but you can make them work better!'

'yes, by drinking a glass of water and eating Plants to ensure regular movement'

AJFsmummy · 28/12/2015 23:56

Yep, they will all be coming out of the woodwork...."new year new you bullschit"

sminkypink · 29/12/2015 00:15

''Your business is to bring out the diamonds in us , it feels valuable and catalystic''

They're diamonds alright, theres some right gems here! Laughing my head off!

Sairelou · 29/12/2015 08:31

Bot number 1 has started with the clean 9 bull. It's really sad to see as she already has two other (legit) businesses so is obviously smart.

My other FL bot doesn't seem to have done anything since her initial launch Hmm

sminkypink · 29/12/2015 08:46

Yeah, an old work acquantance who is doing FL, she did two stalls at a xmas fair, one was a craft stall, (shes very talented), she got several likes for that photo. The other was a FL stall. Tumbleweed, no comments. She needs to sack it off, shes not recruiting and has lost that £200, its obvious. And she already has two other legit businesses too, both of which I think could get affected by the FL one. I sometimes subcontract, but while she is doing FL I'm keeping her at arms length. Especially because I now suspect she added me as a WDYK potential downline. Not because she was being genuine about getting in touch. She hasn't dare ask me though. Only invited me to her also tumbleweed online launch. Which I totally missed as I never read any of my events on Facebook. Maybe now shes followed me a bit she can see Ive got my bullshit detector turned up to 11.

chesarasara · 29/12/2015 09:43

Can I ask what a WDYK list is? Sounds like something I need to avoid being on.

rayofhope · 29/12/2015 10:11

stopfaffing thanks for the link to the threads.

chesarasara it stands for your Who Do You Know list. You put everyone you know on it, to contact about Forever

acatcalledjohn · 29/12/2015 10:26

I only just watched the vid posted by Cheeky on Boxing Day (Is FL a scam?) Another one who spouts utter bollocks. Is she really studying for a PHD?

I'm a member of FloralYum's FB group and you do see the odd bot on there if you are lucky enough to spot it before it's deleted. I cringe when MLM products are recommended by non-Bots - they are still advertising a highly unethical company (there was one on Boxing Day on a hand cream thread) and that frustrates me.

Siwi · 29/12/2015 10:38

I was (aghast) at the PhD too.

( incidentally, I can't do emoticons as iPad has no square brackets. Am I missing a trick?)

Welcome Chesar. I saw your other thread.
:)
