Still continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have an MLM bot of your own then join us and share their claims and content.

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous threads here and here and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

Wondering if it's time to split the threads - serious discussion for serious discussion people and lighthearted bot watch thread for the laughs/collecting of screenshots/etc.

lastuseraccount123 · 10/01/2016 18:52

as always, i will defer to the majority Grin

lazycoo · 10/01/2016 18:59

I would like to split. I don't read the heavy analyYsis. I like bot watching! I work full time with a toddler so my capacity for detailed analysis is limited.

fastdaytears · 10/01/2016 19:04

I vote to split!

lazycoo · 10/01/2016 19:17

Before I go (who's with me for more fun?), mobius that find... Wow! TV is wel jel let me say. Expect plenty of fun from that. Thank you!

See you banterous lot on the other Fred.

Oh dear getting a bit like a "witch-hunt" I like to read both the threads and shall continue to do so. Sad

Eyespying · 10/01/2016 21:06

Meanwhile, I've just interviewed the ultimate British 'FLP' whistleblower.

Annie65 · 10/01/2016 21:18

Ooo, eye cant wait to hear about it. I have noticed a big change in my sil, I thought flbots were supposed to be all positive, but all I got from her was a lot of negativity. She would , of course, say it was me, because I said I didnt want to go to her "pre-pamper xmas party" and I didnt even give an excuse. She said "ok maybe not this time", felt like saying "ok never". Btw I personally want to thank you for your contributions on these threads. Smile

sminkypink · 10/01/2016 21:36

That FLP training document is an eye opener. Vile infact. Let's mine your entire life, everyone you came into contact with ever and try to manipulate and decieve them into becoming your downline.
I also dislike the way it encourages and promotes greed. I'm a modest type. I'm a cheap date and I'm very content, so this sort of thing makes me feel a bit ill.

Eyespying · 10/01/2016 21:39

Annie65 - Thanks for your kind appreciation.

What the British 'FLP' whistleblower has told me this evening, is nothing short of sensational. This is the 'FLP' equivalent of Eric Scheibeler (but with even greater financial losses) and I am going to be the first to report his nightmare story.

I take it that this thread has now been abandoned by a number of 'fun-seeking' MN members or are we all supposed to abandon this thread and retire to two separate threads?

It all seems such a shame.

sminkypink · 10/01/2016 21:40

No we can keep this but I do think a serious one and a light hearted one are important.

dreich · 10/01/2016 21:42

I plan to move between the 2 but then I like things to be compartmentalised suits my small brain

LittleMissStubborn · 10/01/2016 21:47

Sounds very interesting eye.

fastdaytears · 10/01/2016 21:48

Sounds very interesting Eye

Toobusytowee · 10/01/2016 21:56

Well done Eye, that sounds very interesting. Where will you be reporting all this?

Toobusytowee · 10/01/2016 21:57

Maybe Private Eye might be interested now Eye?

Eyespying · 10/01/2016 21:57

LittleMissStubborn and fastdaytears

I'm going to be taking a full statement over the next few days, and posting an article ASAP.

sminkypink · 10/01/2016 22:06

I've been a long time Private Eye subscriber, but I can't imagine FLP in there.

stopfaffing · 10/01/2016 22:11

Will we keep going on the main 'serious' thread when this one's full; FL / MLM thread 3. There is less than 500 posts on it so far.

rayofhope · 10/01/2016 22:12

I like reading both threads.

eye I will look forward to reading your article, that's very frightening if he's lost more than $100k

Eyespying · 10/01/2016 22:12

Toobusytowee and sminkypink This is such an odd phenomenon to write about. Private Eye is a magazine I used to read many years ago and I am a fan of Ian Hislop, but this story doesn't fit.

Eyespying · 10/01/2016 22:22

rayofhope - We are talking about a hell of a lot more than $100k. This is the tragicomic inside story of a current British 'FLP' shill who has featured in the videos as a shining example of 'MLM' success to be copied. This dangerously deluded woman has been hiding massive and mounting, debts, for years. The ex-partner of this shill, who was deceived into secretly financing this particular chapter of the 'FLP' fairy story, but who eventually discovered the truth and got out, is my whistleblower.

fastdaytears · 10/01/2016 22:23

More than $100,000? Shock

Must take a lot of courage to speak out.
