Still continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have an MLM bot of your own then join us and share their claims and content.

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous threads here and here and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

cathy they're broadly similar. The recommended buy in for Arbonne is six trial cases of products to lend out to potential marks so the buy in is bigger. They tried to lift £1500 off me.

sminkypink · 03/01/2016 13:57

the thieving gits!

acatcalledjohn · 03/01/2016 14:15

Thanks for that link, Darcey. However, I am baffled by the 'pay to get spending money'.

Surely you get the cheaper package and use those 'savings' as spending money?

Or are we talking about some stupid Arbonne currency to buy Arbonne shite and mindset shite?

Forgive me anti-bots for I have sinned, I got a friend request today from a friend of a friend who is a JP bot but I couldn't bring myself to accept as I don't know her.
However for redemption I found out a school run mum is a FL bot so I am going to get out my FL lip balm every chance I get to try and get some info (I bought it at a fayre when I was sniffing for info)

JoolsSchmools · 03/01/2016 14:37

Excuse the crap English and grammar in my post, was being pestered by DD and didn't proofread.

MarchEliza · 03/01/2016 14:38

Just seen one of the bots below is someone I went to school with! Mercifully I'm not FB friends with her but I'm reliably informed that type of post is a very regular feature...

Itsmeitscathy · 03/01/2016 15:27

£1500?! So its like a higher class pyramid scheme?! Xmas Hmm

darceybussell · 03/01/2016 15:34

I think the £700 must be the spending money they give you if you reach that level Cat, although I might be wrong.

At the top of the page it says 'register now'. Why do you have to register before you can try to qualify for an incentive trip? Tenner says you have to pay to register, bet that rakes thousands in for them.

Ilovefluffysheep · 03/01/2016 16:24

I hadn't seen that pic for £15.53 on LP's page. Hilarious!

Matching tattoos is so naff, but then they are so sickly sweet about each other on facebook I'm not surprised.

sparkleyes · 03/01/2016 16:54

If your biggest goal in life is to have your house professionally decorated for Christmas id say you have your priorities wrong!

They don't seem to have much care for savings or pensions so they!

sparkleyes · 03/01/2016 16:56

I'm loving all the new bots through! They are like carbon copies of themselves aren't they!

How this business has given them so much blah blah blah

I wouldn't dream of posting office selfies look at me working hard at my desk in my work space so I can go home later and relax!

ConfusedConfused

sparkleyes · 03/01/2016 16:57

TV needs to do a post with a £15.53 cheque woo hoo get the champers out! Need to be Aldis own though!

sminkypink · 03/01/2016 17:01

I got a downpayment from a new client today. So tempted to post my paypal statement to Facebook in bot style. Expect my friends would say, 'are you ok, Sminky? Confused I do post work stuff on Instagram, for promotion purposes, but there are no photos of me screaming and 'smashing it'.

bunchedpantiesagain · 03/01/2016 17:06

Shame on you sminkypink if you don't get out there and smash it how can you be a proper bossbabe Wink

LittleMissStubborn · 03/01/2016 17:07

Can my goal be for someone to undecorate my house after Christmas? That is much more desirable than having it decorated in the first place.

I keep finding things I missed before the boxes went in the loft

pinkandstripey · 03/01/2016 17:25

An fl bot posted on a rat group (yes, RAT) today about bring her products to the next show 😂

pinkandstripey · 03/01/2016 17:25

Bringing. Even.

sparkleyes · 03/01/2016 17:30

The health benefits of aloe to rats.... Who knew !!!

sparkleyes · 03/01/2016 17:32

I don't know about the rest of you Huns but I'm going back to work tomorrow and I'm going to SMASH IT!!!!

Boom!!!

#bossbabe

Maybe I'll just sit at my desk feeling slightly depressed!

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 03/01/2016 17:45

Apologies if this has been discussed previously but has anyone read the Younique presenter contract? I can't link from here but if you google 'Younique contract' it comes up first as a link from 'The Lash Divas'.

It's terrifying. 38 pages long and part of it gives your permission to have your image, details etc used in promotional material by them with no warning and no remuneration.
At the same time you can't use the company name in your own 'business' name and there are loads of restrictions on how you can use the brand and their promo material.
Horribly one-sided.

I wonder how many people have really read what they've signed up to?!

bettyberry · 03/01/2016 17:54

They don't seem to have much care for savings or pensions so they!

But pensions and savings don't sparkle on the driveway and my bank manager doesn't have the 'WOW' factor to put his picture on FB. He's a lovely chap but he's no Brad Pitt Wink

acatcalledjohn · 03/01/2016 18:41

Savings and pensions are sooooooo overrated. Your lifestyle in the here and now, even if it is all on CCs and loans and for all of 12 months, is much more important!

I mean, why would you provide for a family by saving and investing in a property and a future, when you can put all your earnings in to renting a converted barn instead of buying that house at a massive discount and pretend to be a Disney parent for a few months, rather than a good, solid & reliable parent?

Yes, I'm looking at you, Barn bot

Ilovefluffysheep · 03/01/2016 19:20

I tried looking for Louise Perry on Companies House but couldn't find her. She must have accounts as it sounds like she's been doing it a few years. Love to see evidence of her "6 figure income" which they all claim to have.

I did lol about the poster above who said they'd pay to have their house professionally undecorated!!

NettleTea · 03/01/2016 19:28

Arbonne coming through!
